I recently ate at Devon in The Palms at Town and Country in Kendall, Miami. I was surprised to know that such a high end restaurant would be in this area. Evidently it’s part of a chain out of Kansas City. No expense has been spared regarding the décor. I’ve eaten appetizers at the bar and also a full meal in the restaurant area. The filet mignon was as tender and perfect as any South Beach restaurant of a high caliber. I did find that the bar was somewhat lacking in a variety of liquor such as vodkas and scotches. They serve biscuits instead of regular bread which is probably the Kansas City influence. But all in all the food is absolutely fabulous. I ordered a side of macaroni with Lobster which was to die for and as the menu said large enough for two people. I highly recommend this restaurant and I’m very discerning. I chatted with the manager Raymond Perez who was charming.
