Johnny Rockets

Let’s face it, adults go to Johnny Rockets because kids want to go to Johnny Rockets. Balloons and Ice cream shakes are what draws them in. I was very disappointed that the kids meals on the menu said it came with celery sticks or fries and apple sauce. I was told that when they first opened they had those things but now the only side option is the fries. The celery and apple sauce is no longer offered. We will not be back.

I really don’t think this place knows what customer service means. I’ve never just walked in to order a burger to go so naturally I walked up to the counter only to be ignored by the server who was standing there, and greeted someone else instead. So I sat down hoping someone would take my order. A girlcame up to me after a few minutes and I had to ask her if I can order something. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes for a burger. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!!! will never go to a Johnny Rockets ever again.

Great service! Aramis Torres is one of my favorite servers, very attentive to my kids and the food was spectacular!

Their burgers and sandwiches have always been cooked very well every time I come here. Their malts are very good as well. Staff is attentive and do a good job at keeping an upbeat atmosphere. If Jamar is there, you’ll have a good dining experience. He’s awesome.

I enjoy eating here after or before a movie. The food is classic American and made well. I love the fries and have a hard time not finishing them before my meal comes out. One downer is the sound system. The speakers are old and scratchy and it painfully loud for bad speakers. It’s about time they changed them out cause the music they play is great.

Went here several times and last saturday my daughter wanted to celebrate her 12 bday! Manager Tina was amazing and helpful giving us tips and doing everything easy. Our server Melody was awesome and nice with all our party.
Absolutely recommended and close to the theatre, nothing else better than this!

Too chaotic. Loud and the service is terrible. The menus were tossed at us and not even a hello. 15 minutes later, Still waiting to get asked what we want… Not even a water offered!!! They avoid eye contact with you to avoid waiting on you! Crappy crappy crappy! & I’m being polite.

Apparently the food industry is going to the crapper because my last few attempts at eating out have been less than stellar.
My sister and I came into this location today and half the store was taken up by an elderly home. After we sat down, a waiter Val or Hal said he’d be right with us. Then more customers starting coming in. After ten minutes of waiting and not even receiving water, a heavy set waitress came out from the back, not Val/​Hal, and started taking everyone else’s order. I called her over to our table and said we were there before any other guest and she said she’d be right with us and continued taking OTHER customer’s orders. Mind you there was a manager, a cook and three servers on deck.
We got up and left. This store is ridiculous. Ive said it before and I’ll say it again, Im never coming her again.
The Johnny Rockets at Dadeland is so much better. You can just order your food at the counter and sit at a table. You dont have to rely on sh*tty service. I kinda wish I had stayed just to NOT tip the waiters.

There comes a few times where I can get awesome service from a dine in restaurant! When I walked in the employees greeted me with there welcome saying and everyone is smiling and friendly! When my fiancé and I went to eat there our server was name Valarie. She was very attentive to our needs and she was so friendly and very easy going. I recommend anyone getting Valerie as a server the experience was lovely because of her. The manager Yadelis ‘Nelly’ Anel was very nice and she also was very attentive and made mine and my fiancé experience amazing she always checked up on us and helped with anything we needed and actually chatted and she is so sweet and adorable! I’m happy Johnny Rockets made her a manager they should promote her! Thank you to Valarie and Nelly for making my dinner and dining experience the best and more I can ever ask for and want!

Great service from Betty. We were in a hurry to go see a movie and she made sure we were taken care of. Great job!

No hello when we came in, sat down at the bar after awkwardly standing at the entrance.
The guy forgot our fries in the oven and served them to us burnt. He should have noticed the error and redone them, not serve them as is. Glad I didn’t get a meal and just shared my friends chicken wings, which still had that re-​fried, freezer food taste.

I had an absolutely amazing time tonight at this location! The staff was super friendly and I was greeted with enthusiasm immediately. I just wanted a quick snack but I never expected to feel so welcomed. My server was Daniel and he was on top of his game and very attentive. I was even greeted by the manager/​supervisor Nelly who made me feel as if I were a regular and she continued to check on me to make sure I was having an optimal dinning experience. The food was even better than I remember it being the last few times I was in this establishment. I work and have worked in the service industry for many years and I was overwhelmingly impressed with my experience. I’m super happy that I chose to come here over the other burger joints in the falls area. Great job at turning this place around!!! I will be back more often after tonight! Thanks Daniel, Nelly and the rest of the staff and cooks that started my night out on a high note! Keep up the great work they are lucky to have you all!

The service is horrible, i will never return to this restaurant, Im only leaving the two stars because the food is actually good.

Food was tasteful, and at a great price (buy one adult dish, get child’s free — Wednesday special).
Service: though the waiter was really sweet, was very, very, very slow. She had three tables and took a while to take order, bring food, bring check. She never came to offer refills, nor clean table. Delivered bill about 10 minutes after we were done, and we ended up having to pay upfront.
Not too great of an experience, overall.

I like johnny rockets, the burgers were delicious, with chili cheese fries and a chocolate malt, needless to say this was a cheat day and worth every calorie, lol. Delicious and the service was good too. Its a burger joint, with an old school feel.

I went there for lunch with my son. The restaurant was not busy, It took them 20 minutes to take our order even though we were seated next to the kitchen by the counter. Waiter comes over takes the order… another 15 minutes for our shakes. then it took about another 30 minutes for our two burgers to come out. They even skipped out on the cheese after the waiter confirmed that i wanted cheese on both burgers. Way to slow, our total visit took about an hour and 20 minutes to get 2 shakes and 2 burgers. Will not be going back again.

We recently had the worst experience here. It was about 5pm, and not busy at all. We (group of 6 hungry people) decided to sit outside because the temperature was nice. It took about 5 min before anyone realized we were there even though we were waving at the waiters inside. Finally someone came and gave us menus and told us our server would be right with us.
We waited 10 min and no one came. We saw people who were seated inside the restaurant who came after us get their appetizers before anyone even asked for our drinks!
It was not busy, there is no excuse for that. The best part was after we decided to get up and leave within 10 seconds someone was there to pick up our menus.
I have never had to leave a restaurant before, but I will never return to johnny rockets because they obviously dont value their customers. Go eat somewhere else in the mall.

What do you want? It isn’t the Capital Grill; it’s Johnny Rockets. The burgers are decent, the fries are good, the milkshakes are fine. They are nice to your kids and it’s relatively cheap. And if you eat here you can get discount tickets to the movie theatre.
