Hookah Inn

The manager was rude right of the bat. And that is troubling because if the owner is rude, how must the employees be. I was trying to ask him questions about the price of the hookah and he was already sliding my card charging me, when I haven’t even decided if I wanted to do it or not. It seemed like he was charging everyone a different price because the people next to us paid 25 for their hookah and my friend and I had to pay 30 for just one. One of the employees threw our charcoal away and then just walked off without refilling it. He disappeared for about 15 minutes, and I had to find him to remind him. The manager needs to learn a little something that is called «customer service».

Great place to just chill and have fun with friends =) The refills are a little pricy but it’s a fun environment

I wish I had Unilocal to check out the reviews before I went to this place. Its terrible & I will never go back! The workers are smoking themselves and dont take care of the customers. The hookahs sucks and not that much of a choice of flavors. The dj is not that good and is rude when you ask nicely to play a different variety of music not just reggaton. And after I spent about 60 $ and just wanted to chill and dance I couldnt because since we didnt wanna smoke hookah no more we had to leave but then they let other people stay which was unfair. Horrible first time Hookah experience I had. I have to agree with all the reviews from everyone about this place.

Their hookahs are kind of shitty but good service and price. It’s a good place to bring drinks and dance on the weekends.

Like various other reviewers claim, I too must admit this place sucks for many reasons and their main and arguably only asset is their location.
But in general
1)Service is too hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great but more often than not its just a heinous offense to customer service.
2)You never know when the closing times actually are, because despite what they claim on Unilocal,they close whenever they want to do so. In fact, tonight they kicked people out over 45 minutes before the stated closing time.
3)Depending on who’s working, they charge you for things, I.e. Drinks you bring yourself, whenever they feel like it. In other words, you never know when they will until you get the bill.
4)Their «specials» are another surprise because, other than Monday’s, they make them up as they please.
I get it, it’s a private establishment. But I think money is much better spent on a place where you know a) the service is consistent b) you know what you’ll be spending money on c) what the hours of operation actually are.
Can’t say I will be visiting again. I prefer legitimate establishments at which you actually know what you’re getting. They can keep having fun with ignorant FIU kids that don’t know what the rest of Miami has to offer. Once they find out, however (my friends and I being some of them), they will make actual wise choices.

Worst place I’ve ever been in my life. Rudest people I’ve ever met and the worse manager or owner that I’ve ever encounter. Me and six other friends went here and we sat around a table and this guy came and told us if we are ready to get a hookah and we said yes how much is it and he said it’s going to be $ 55.00 since its 7 people so we asked if we couldn’t get one hookah and he said no so I said okay we will get it but we are waiting for another person in the group that was in the bathroom at the time. He then left and me and my friends were putting money together and waiting for our other friend to come and then I saw an older man that seemed he was the manager/​owner standing at the opposite side asking what’s going on and why we are taking too long to pay and we were trying to tell him that we are waiting for our next friend to come out the bathroom so he can pay his half with the money and all of a sudden the manager/​owner came to us and said we need to get out now and he can’t deal with us and then the bouncer came and was standing by us telling out to get out. I was completely embarrassed that every one was staring at us and we were getting thrown out. The manager told us in a very rude and arrogant tone. I am never going back to this place and I will always tell people about this horrible experience at this place. My friends and I went there to go have some fun and smoke hookah and it turned out to be a horrible night with all us being very upset. WORSE PLACE EVER AND WORSE MANAGER/​OWNER.

This is the best of the best hookah shop i ever bin to and danced and party on Friday and Saturday and dj Eddy kills it and they have the best chicken wraps in miami and ill be going every weekend for sure. Turn up!!!

Came here with a group of friends for $ 10 special. Flavored are pretty good however the hookahs take some time to produce nice smoke properly. I was saddened by the lack of dessert but the chicken wrap was fantastic! Pretty good service and very relaxed setting. Music was at perfect volume too!

It very bad do not go there, the owner dose not respect his customers. Moreover; he serve bad hookah and food.

The first Hookah was good. Very good flavor and it provided quite the buzz. The refill not so much. The décor left something to be desired but the staff were very friendly.

From the moment we walked in, I knew this place wasn’t for me…
Located in a strip mall across FIU, a few doors down good old seedy New Wave Billiards, what did I expect? Not much. Boy was I right! Couches look abused, used and abused yet again. The atmosphere is a mix of Breaking Bad’s Jesse Pinkman drug induced state of mind and that of a private back room at a strip joint (without the music… Spurs and Mavs were playing). I felt a bit dirty and out of place. Not my scene.
This place closes at 2am, yet we were rushed out of there as soon as the game ended and as soon as their male clients left…12:15am. WTF? We had just been there smoking for not even an hour and they’re asking us to leave? Very uncool. I felt we were treated like second class citizens.
I do not recommend this place.
If you want a nice atmosphere, top notch service, beautiful open terrace views and don’t mind paying $ 25.00 for a hookah (unlimited smokers), go to Sawa in the Gables where you’ll be treated with dignity and respect.

The service is poor and the quality of their hookah is everything less than mediocre. This really shows as you walk in and see that the only costumers in this place are a group of male friends who are friends of the actual workers of the venue. Me and my partner came in to smoke some hookah because driving to Sawa wasn’t an option for us and it was close by our location.
We came in on a lazy Monday to smooth out the week and spend some quality time. They offer on Monday all you can smoke for 10 dollars per person. We were there for an hour and our hookah was still producing some nice puffs. As the friends decided to leave, all the sudden they said they were closed. For some reason they wanted to close two hours earlier. The place literally closed on us at 12:00 am, when their schedule is supposed to be 2:00 in the morning. I don’t understand why some businesses have the audacity to promote false advertisement. They have no knowledge that people will complain and write reviews as I am doing now, about their shitty service. Neither me or my partner will be coming here ever again. This place is a cheap and raunchy looking and the service is not even that good. We were the only women in that place and we felt a bit discriminated as well, as this guys were having every inappropriate conversations.
It’s better that you clear out from this place, they clearly don’t care about costumer service as they rip off the little costumers that try to keep them in business by giving their outhouse a try. I don’t see how they will remain in business, I hope a better business uses the space appropriately and soon.

use to go here with my X. Really has the formula for service down. their hookahs are legit. I have not had a bad experience smoking here. the Furniture is designed for you to come completely off the hinges and be good. You can feel free to really take some monster hits and take it all in without fear of landing on your ass.
good flavors for smoke, & located right off the FIU campus. good place, and great service, I will go again.

Came here on a Saturday night, the service was perfect — Hookah was great prices were fair, if you get a second shot of hookah (refill) you get a special, there was a DJ played music, perfect to come with friends/​date and enjoy the evening.

Not an avid hookah smoker, but really like going to this place. Great atmosphere and great hookah.

I didn’t really get a chance to smoke because when I went in with some friends, they wanted to charge us for everyone instead of just those who wanted to smoke. It would have cost twice as much so we left. Perhaps they should work out a different system for situations like that.

Hookah Inn is exactly what you need it to be!
My server, Mike, was amazing! I plan on going back tonight for $ 10 all you can smoke Mondays!

Love to smoke Hookahs. Decided to give this place a try, instead of going all the way to South Beach. Place has a good size and comfortable sofas. It was not packed because went on a weekday. But there were several couples and a small group of girls. Place has many flavors to choose from and a light menu. Tried the chicken wrap, it was so good we had to order one more. You also feel welcome the minute you step inside. Definitely recommend this Hookah place. l’ll be back very soon.

Sam, the owner, is always there to take care of you and make you a custom flavor for you to smoke that day. Any flavor tobacco you can imagine. Open late on weekends with a DJ playing the latest hits. Comfortable couches & a couple flat screens playing your local team sport. Cool trick he does, that no other hookah spot does, is that the hookah is ready to smoke right away. No need for countless puffs to get it going. Dont forget to pick up your favorite flavor on your way out for your smoking needs at home.
