It’s hard to love a bait shop. It really is. But I can’t say enough about F&F. This is a family owned shop that’s been in the same location for several years. I was actually referred here by another local Marine store that I frequent. The neighborhood is a little sketch and parking the boat can be a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless the customer service is incredible.
The shop is primarily run by a father and his two sons. The father is a great guy. I recently called and told him that I was on my way in. It was getting close to closing time and I knew I wouldn’t make it in time. The father kept the shop open for me and extra 15 minutes so that I could grab my bait for our early morning fishing trip.
On a couple of occasions the father has made great recommendations that I had never thought of using and they were successful. The two sons are also both knowledgeable and helpful. I always go out of my way to purchase my bait and supplies here. It feels good supporting a small family owned business.
