I found some real gems in this place! It’s not that organized but I don’t mind searching through books, I actually kind of enjoy it! I got 5 books for less than $ 15. Score! 4 were slightly used &1 was brand new but she gave me 40% off its original price. They buy used books as well if anyone’s interested in that. All their books r really cheap though so I doubt u’ll get much for them. I’ll prolly bring in some books I haven’t been able to swap in the past year. There’s only 2 cons. 1) the majority of books are in español, & since I don’t speak Spanish that was a real bummer to me. 2) I couldn’t find any curbside parking so I had to park in the garage across the street. It’s $ 6 every ½ hour… I was 35 mins & they made me pay $ 12! Ughhhh it took me 5 mins just to find a parking spot! I def don’t recommend parking there! I will def be back from time to time to see what other hidden treasures I can find… but maybe i’ll walk there next time.

This place has a great selection of used and remainder books. I love the combination of Spanish and English books that are available and LOVE the prices. It isn’t a place that is well organized but you can ask them for anything and they can find it! They do a great job in covering the bases– comic books, magazines, reference materials, you name it. The staff is superb! They’re so very friendly! This isn’t the sort of place you’d expect to run across amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s fabulous! For some reason I’ve only seen those tacky little airport type of bookstores that sell NYT best sellers in heart of the city book shops. This place is different– way better! I love it! Did I mention the fact that this shop has GREAT prices? I spent $ 25 on 7 books.

What I liked about this little book shop is that they have a good sized Spanish collection. The organization of the books leaves much to be desired but that just adds to the homey feel. Unfortunately, this is not the type of book shop I’d take my coffee in to for a long relaxing read. It’s a pretty tight space with limited comfortable seating. However, they have a lot of random books to peruse through, and the prices are super cheap.

A good little bookstore downtown. They now have a good stock of spanish language classics of literature, politics, philosophy, etc. They have a decent selection of textbooks and the like, and other stuff. As far as I know its the only used bookstore in the city of miami? Or the only one I’ve found. The prices are cheap, and they have international newspapers. Worth supporting

A bookstore in Downtown Miami? YES! A bookstore that’s been there since 1963? Yes again! This place has been here almost five decades aka half a century. This place has seen a lot of changes, dating back to pre-glam, pre-posh, Miami. Although they sell new and used books and magazine it has the feel of a used bookstore. Patrons can bring turn in their used books here. To anyone living in Brickell/Downtown, we might have just hit the jackpot for dropping off books. It has tons of cliff notes and study guides so high school students can hit this place up for hard to find aids. I was a little disappointed in the magazine selection and would love to have them expand and really have a large variety of different subjects and languages. Nonetheless, I can always stop by here to peruse the stacks for used books and pick up a popular mag without having to drive to South Beach or Coral Gables. In closing I say come on DBC step it up, you could be the newsstand/bookstore I hit up for a copy of Brit Vogue, Monocle, a used copy of Oscar Wao and turning in my copy of Eat, Pray, Love.
