I had an amazing experience. My favorite favorite food has been took to a next level. Cheese and mushroom omelette or the Breakfast special that come with waffles, strawberries, cream, bacon and fried eggs. Oh! So good! Cozy atmosphere, outside seating, plus the very friendly staffs. I will be a regular.

Nice little French enclave in the middle of a Cuban metropolis. We went for un petit déjeuner but ended up with their eggs Benedict croissant on the waitress’s recommendation(she’s from Lyon). Perfectly poached eggs, a pretty legit croissant, and a nice fruit spread. We might be back for dinner, but great spot and a full menu of frenchie standards! Edit: made it back for breakfast again a day later. Oh man, we both had the Parisienne Benedict(on the special), and it was superb! Again with the great eggs, served over fresh avocado and huge slices of Brie!

Definitely enjoyed our breakfast here! The only breakfast meats offered were pork based so I asked if they had sliced turkey to serve for breakfast and our waiter said yes. Best. Breakfast. Move. Ever! The turkey was just sweet and smokey enough and it complemented the eggs and potatoes in the perfect way. The waffle we ordered to share was a little lacking :(. It was kind of chewy and not the best texture. Over all this café is a win!

Unfortunately I can’t give them more than 1 star. Let me start with the good things. My eggs were good, a side sauce that came with it was also good. And that’s about it. My son’s waffles were so hard and not even crispy. It was like there were pre cooked and pre heated. My son told me he went with his friends to a place were the waffles were fantastic. Any ways, when we go in to the restaurant we choose were to seat and there was a family of like 5 that came 6 minutes after we arrive so, the waiter a female began to argue with the other waiter a guy, in French she was very upset maybe because she want it to assist that table. Is not professional doing that in front of your customers. Well our waiter didn’t speak English, and I guess that is why he came back 15 minutes after we order to ask me how I want it the eggs. By this time the other family was already getting served and we still waiting. So I ask another waiter a Spanish guy very nice, that where is my food? He apologize and in 3 minutes the food was at the table. He mention something about the eggs, maybe they went to get the eggs at the chicken coop. The waiter forgot our drink and we were finish already. So the Spanish guy took care of our drink with no charge. Unfortunately I didn’t like it. This place is more like to get the tourist. Too expensive and what they sold to me «the experience» not worth it. Okay this people are pure French but those French that don’t like Americans, like when you go to their country and they treat you like trash. Like that. I have an awesome French friend and she is so amazing. I guess this ones just arrive to USA not too long ago.

Cute setup with a very diverse menu, very tasty! We had some picky eaters who they made an excellent effort in accommodating. The wait staff were professional and polite. A nice departure from the bravado of the beach. A must visit!

Sunday brunch. Bad service horrible experience… the waiter(French) he doesn’t understand our order, never said hello o good morning don’t understand English, bring the food completely different that we order, never got refills on our coffee, we order orange juice 3 dollars and he charged us 6 dollars and the worse the owner he is making the drinks in frontt of the restrooms and he is screaming with bad actitud and he is so rude because we was waiting there he said guys i don’t want people behind me… for sure… really never again stay away.

Food was good, not the best but hits the spot. Very busy morning brunch. My crêpe was a bit too sweet with too much Nutella inside. I felt like I was eating a Nutella dumpling the whole time.

This place was surprisingly bad. The service was exceptionally poor. I ordered french onion soup and I got carrot soup. When I did get my French onion soup, it was not quite cold but it was cool. Then after speaking with the waiter and getting a recommendation my client settled on the steak sandwich. They brought him a salmon sandwich. Then after getting that supposedly fixed they brought him a hamburger instead of the steak sandwich he ordered. He took one bite. If this was not bad enough… They charged for the steak sandwich. Good point… The bathroom was clean.

this place fell short of my expectation on all the counts. Its a breakfast place and it was uite busy on a sunday morning, we sat outside. We had to wait for 30 min for glass of water –we kept asking them and they just kept saying sorry we will get it. We got it after we gave the order. we were ready to give order in 5 min but no one was free to take our order. Once given the order the food came out in okish time. It looked really good but the food didnt taste fresh neither tasty. We ordered the pancake and my husband ordered the omelette. both were disappointed.

We were looking for breakfast or brunch outside our hotel on Saturday morning and found this amazing gem. The coffee and mimosa were perfection. The ham Benedict was absolutely delicious… and whoever came up with the idea of using a croissant instead of the traditional English muffin is a GENIUS!

Oscar provided good service to us. We hurried to breakfast while waiting for family to debark from cruise. Had good eggs and fresh croissants with jam. Coffee was hot and flavorful. We could have gotten a similar meal for half the price within a block but we wanted a moment of French excellence… and it was provided! Quality counts!

Not open. Walked here after the place we were looking for was closed and… You guessed it, also not open. Hard to eat somewhere that is closed. Unilocal says they are open to maybe they are out of business. We are next door at another place– one that is open.

Amazing service, I mean right when you walk through the door they treat you like French Royalty(minus the whole beheading thing). And our waitress spoke french to us as I speak Francais un peux. I had the spanish omelette with sausage and it was pretty good, although it could have used a bit more flavor in it. My friend ordered the salmon Benedict and after tasting her food I definitely wish I had ordered that instead(not that the Spanish Omelette was bad). The breakfast potatoes are crispy and well cooked, and the fruit is fresh and delicious. I will be coming back and will try a couple more breakfast items, and enjoy the nice service here(I left a generous tip).

I really wanted to love it here, but it felt crowded and noisy, and not in a delightful Parisian café way. The food was, in Unilocal parlance, A-OK. Everything was. Nothing stood out as particularly special to me. And since we love French food and Francophone culture, I really thought it would.

I found this cute little breakfast spot on Unilocal and it was quite delicious. It’s easily missed as there’s a couple other restaurants within arms length from it. The service was pretty good, I sat outside on the sidewalk and enjoyed the Miami weather. The food was quite delicious… although my only eh moment was the lack of variety in the dishes. But I got the french toast with fresh fruit on top and a cappuccino and I left a happy visitor! I would suggest this place if you are with a smaller group though, it’s a pretty small area but totally worth visiting!

I really wanted to love this place but overall I am just not that impressed. It’s pretty tiny but we managed to get a seat but it kind of felt like we were just in the way of a narrow high traffic entry area. We ended up paying over $ 40 for just an average sandwich on a baguette and some type of seafood stew and a few iced coffee’s. Overall I don’t feel like I got my moneys worth. The sandwich was okay but I was expecting more than processed meat on a very skimpy baguette. It came with shoestring fries which are also the cheapest fries you can get and the«salad» was nothing more than a few pieces of greens. What I was REALLY craving was the cajun eggs benedict which I saw pictures of on Unilocal but we arrived just a few minutes after 12 and were told that they would not serve it to us because it was not breakfast time anymore. That made me a very sad panda :( Another thing was I asked for ice water when I walked in to meet up with a friend as it was hot and I’d walked several blocks to get there and hadn’t decided on what I wanted to eat or drink yet but the waiter forgot my water FOURTIMES! He even acknowledged the fact that he forgot it and apologized and then forgot it again. I really don’t know where his head was at. My friends seafood stew special or whatever it was was served in aluminum foil. I’m sorry are we at a barbecue? Who does that? Serious lack of any kind of presentation factor. The iced coffee had a lot of ice and I downed it in like 3 sips, they do charge for refills as well. I left unsatisfied and disappointed.

Today’s breakfast was the most delicious meal that I can remember, and my wife and teenage son loved what they had, too. Fresh fruits, perfect avocados, generous, but appropriate portions… Even the eggs and potatoes were extraordinary. Whatever they’re doing here, they’re doing it right. My wife and I had omelettes and shared a chocolate croissant, and my son had the Parisien Benedict. It looked fantastic, but it was gone before I could get a taste.

Checked this place out on a lark last Sunday morning. Wanted brunch. Didn’t want to drive. Wanted good eats. Didn’t want to go far. And so Unilocal delivered. Bastille is a corridor of a restaurant. You know the kind I mean. Long and narrow. But it doesn’t feel cramped, which too often can be the case with this type of layout. We were seated immediately(seating available inside and out), and didn’t at all have to wait for our waiter to come and tell us about the day’s specials and take our drink orders. The two of us ordered the café au lait, which comes completely sans sweetener, so you’ll need to really make use of the packets to get it to your taste. It wasn’t my favorite, but it wasn’t bad either. Bastille offers a ton of crepes, all of which look fantastic, all of which I look forward to trying. On this trip, though, I chose the traditional croque madame, which, I think, bastille executed really GD well. It was stuffed with ingredients, which didn’t allow for a thin sandwich, but I’m totally not complaining. It was incredibly filling, and all too often, this meal, to me, just isn’t. My brunchmate opted for one of the day’s specials, comprised of different takes on eggs Benedict. I think Bastille stumbled a little bit here as the Benedict she ordered was a little too all-over-the-place. There was avocado and brie and tomato and turkey and eggs and and and and and and. By the end, her plate looked like an egg massacre. It’s not that it wasn’t tasty, she said. Just a little overpowering. You may want to stick to the traditional Benedict if you don’t like this kind of thing. All in all, a solid place with fast and courteous service.

So impressed with this breakfast spot! Who knew authentic French breakfast existed in Downtown! Came for a late Sunday brunch. Ordered the Parisian Benedict – turkey, avocado, brie served on a croissant. Heaven! The potatoes that came with it were also delicious, which is rare. They tasted fresh. The fruit was also extremely fresh. Great place(if a little hot inside – turn up the AC!).

Great place if you want to have a good breakfast without the hustle bustle and«rip off» price tags of Miami beach. My wife and I were staying at hotel in downtown Miami and found this breakfast place on Unilocal. The Salmon eggs Benedict and the Parisian Benedict were so yum! You could see the chef making the delicious breakfast in front of you. Sort of open kitchen. Simple, clean sit down café with great breakfast! Love places like these! PS: Eggs Benedict lovers, you gotta try them here! :)

Came here for brunch and had a good experience. We were seated immediately, inside the restaurant. Our waiter took our orders pretty quickly, but it did take some time for our food to arrive. I ordered a coffee and the smoked salmon benedict and my boyfriend got the eggs benedict. Coffee was really good, didn’t need any creamer or sugar. The smoked salmon benedict is the star. It was absolutely scrumptious. There was smoked salmon with eggs and hollandaise sauce on a croissant. I think the croissant really did it for me. Eggs benedict is usually on a English muffin, which I’m not a fan of. The fresh fruit was a nice addition to the meal as well. Overall, great brunch place, definitely worth a visit or two.

The moment I discovered there was a French bistro only 10 min walking distance from our hotel my travel buds and I made plans to have breakfast here and I’m really glad that we did! Let me start by first and foremost saying that their cappuccino came really close to being the best I’ve ever had, Montréal beat them but only by a hair. Get it, you won’t regret it. In true Bistro fashion, they bring you a chalk board that contains the daily specials but they also provide menus and we went with the eggs Benedict. It comes with a fresh croissant instead of the traditional English muffin. They make their croissants in house and they are… delicious! Two eggs, plentiful ham, rosemary potatoes and fresh fruit. None of us left anything behind on our plates, it was fantastic. Service was wonderful and I loved hearing the cooks speak to one another in French through the glass pane as you can see them cooking while you sit and wait for your meal. I think the cook noticed that I was watching all his culinary maneuvers and when we got up to leave he waved and said goodbye to me. I will without a doubt make it a point to come back the next time I’m in Miami, maybe to try dinner.

Instead of having breakfast at the hotel we were staying at we decided to venture out for breakfast. The delicious pictures, the high overall rating, and distance made it our breakfast choice while in Miami. Both of our eggs Benedict tasted great and came out quite fast. I really liked the crisp outer shell of the croissant and the warm soft centre. We both paired our breakfast with a mimosa. I think the mimosa was a bit pricey($ 10)…but then again, everything in Miami is expensive. Service was average during our stay. The waitress just came to take our order and give us the bill. 4 stars for breakfast and 3 stars for the service.

Food is great but the service is not that good. The waiter was incredibly rude(surprise a French waiter that’s rude) for no reason whatsoever. Anyway food is great, place itself is fairly small and cramped and I don’t recommend sitting curb side because this isn’t an European city, the street isn’t particularly nice to look at and you’ve got homeless people roaming around you while you eat. Terrible location. I guess it’s a different story if you work in the area and are looking for lunch options.

My son(4) and husband loved this place — I genuinely wanted to, but had 2 separate occasions where my order was just«off» — the baked goods or anything carb laden is out-of-this-world delicious… But eggs or omelettes — not so much. Pain au chocolat —(chocolate croissant) was just like they serve in Paris … Just stick with the non-egg items and you’re golden. We will definitely be back when we are ready for more Belgium waffles with strawberries … And homemade jam on a crunchy crust baguette.(Mmmmmm).

I have no idea what all the good reviews are about for this place. Given the reviews we thought we were in for a treat. Oh so wrong. The place is cramped. Ok, so the food and service must be good right? Wrong, service was with an attitude. And the food was average at best. Sorry all you Unilocalers, but this one’s a dud !
