Denny’s

I don’t plan on eating here anymore. My daughters pancakes had a piece of plastic cooked into them. It appears something fell into the batter while they are being prepared. However, the manager didn’t feel it was worth their time to come out and apologize and see it everyone was ok. On a side note, this place is starting to look rundown and is in need of some updating.

Sadly I will have to stop coming here. Came in for breakfast and noticed the conditions of the dinning area. Carpet is disgusting. Went to put some sugar packets under a table because it was wobbly and the floor was soaking wet. Went to the bathroom to wash my hands and the walls ceiling and floor are dirty. The show room has mold on the ceiling tiles and numerous leaks.

Worst experience at a Denny’s ever. Waitress rings up each item separately making a $ 4 meal into $ 7. When asked to correct the bill she says she can’t you have to wait for the manager. Poor service, rude staff and over charging. Never eating here again!

Compared to other more modern & up to date Denny’s this location could use some updates. Old carpet, dried up construction glue on walls, missing toilet in men’s room, etc. Food was ok, but if your going to run a business at least keep up with it so it stays up to date. In my opinion, the furniture and upkeep of a restaurant are just as important as the food.

The service here is horrible we waited 45 min to get our food and when we finally got our food it was cold so we sent it back and it took 5 min for them to send us another plate so that basically mean our food was sitting there. Then they didn’t want to give us a discount for our food being cold and having to wait that long for it. I asked to speak to a manager and she didn’t even come out to speak to us at all not even when we sent the food back. Her name is Isabelle and I will be calling the corporate office to complain this is the second time this has happened to us the first time it was over an hour before anyone came to our table and we just left. The only reason I put one star is because it won’t let h post without putting a star but they don’t deserve nothing!!!

They have a sign as you walk in that says please wait to be seated. My group stood at the waiting area for fifteen minutes. I asked do we seat ourselves or what the guy said «yuh seat yourselves.» You didn’t see me standing there for fifteen minutes? You ignorant fuck, that’s why you serve eggs.

Do you remember the restaurants you went to as a kid? Fast-​food? Diner? Fancy restaurant? Whatever they were, there were some restaurants that you enjoyed, and those experiences never get old every time you go back. I ate at Denny’s for years; although it’s not the best restaurant in the world, I always had a good time going, and that is not going to stop now.
My friends, family and I recently went to this Denny’s location on May 28, 2015 at approximately 11 a.m. Although most people were at school and work at this hour, and we were able to get a table fairly quickly, there was a traffic jam on SW 137^th Avenue going south. We had to go around it and take three connecting streets to reach it. It makes me wonder that maybe the location is inconvenient, especially when coming out of a busy street. Nevertheless, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very relaxing. I was able to make myself right at home, sitting at the table and talking with the nice waitress to put in my order.
I got the Cinnamon Pancake Breakfast: two pancakes with a cinnamon and icing drizzle on top, hash browns, scrambled eggs and two sausage links. The food tasted good and classic, just as I always remember it back to when I ate at Denny’s as a kid. However, I would have liked the cinnamon flavor baked in the pancakes rather than just pour the cinnamon drizzle on top. Were they attempting to replicate the cinnamon roll experience in the form of pancakes? Cinnamon-​baked pancakes with icing on top would have led me to appreciate the dish even more.
The next time you go to Denny’s, be sure to look out for seasonal items, as well as dishes inspired by a new movie release. I remember having a Gandalf’s Gobble Melt back during the holiday season of 2012. It was one of the featured dishes inspired by the new movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. A turkey, stuffing and cheese sandwich — way past Thanksgiving for turkey and stuffing, but it was still delicious.
This Denny’s visit, just like any other, did not disappoint. I’m looking forward to coming back any time in the future. Maybe next time, I will try one of those seasonal/​promotional dishes they have for the summer! Perhaps the blueberry pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream? Count me in.

I come here at 3 AM on Saturdays after dropping off my girlfriend at her house. The night shift crew are friendly and the service is good. I’ve made it a regular for my late-​night breakfasts.

So today was my birthday and I decided to wake up and get a free grand slam to go. As I get there the lady at the front tells me it’s dine in only, ok fine so I sit down and no one attends to me for about 20mins. Then a random waiter brings me a bottle of water I didn’t ask for but I thought they were being nice. Come to find out after I finally got my food I was charged for the water!!! I left a tip before and my total came out to about 7 bucks. If I knew before I would have just left. What service. Don’t bother… I could have made it at home.

This is my usual spot for a late night snack. The biscuits and gravy and bourbon BBQ burger are out of this world DELICIOUS! The servers Isabel H. and Milton are always very attentive at keeping my table clear and drinks filled. Plus these two servers ALWAYS have a customer friendly attitude which can be hard to find in many other Denny‘s Ive been too.

Sabrosisima la comida… MALA LA ATENCIÓN…terrible…puedes morir de hambre esperando que te atiendan… si quieres comer algo rico Denny’s es el mejor, pero armate de paciencia o come algo en casa antes de salir…

Usually I don’t go and have breakfast but i like this Denny’s location due to the fact the one by my house is class A for slowness and bad customer service skills. However, this Denny’s here has been great it’s clean
and the staff is friendly and my food comes out right. I do recommend this location over the one on 122 and kendall. I am giving it a five because the server was friend and she did her job effectively and efficiently. Plus, the place is clean and cozy.

Great place to come and eat after a night of partying. Service may not always be perfect but food is always delicious.
… So sad how the kitchen workers use profanity out loud directly coming from the kitchen without any regard for the patrons. SMH!!!

Denny’s will always be that convenient place to go at any time. I’m currently here at 4am writing this review.
It doesn’t matter what time it is and what you are craving Denny’s has anything you desire and that’s why I give it 3 stars.
The place has a lot of space and the servers are great from the countless times I have been there.
The grand slam is the way to go, highly recommended place for that late night or early morning munching.

Horrible service… extremely unnacceptable wait time. After 10-​min we were seated, then it took 20 minutes before they came to ask us what we wanted then took our orders and left. All this time we still have not been served a glass of water. Finally food comes out 45-​min later and still nothing to drink. Never returning to this Dennys for sure! !!

Very good service. Pancakes were done just right. Moist almost on the verge of doughy, making them a joy to chew slowly. They serve fresh half and half with the coffee.

Before attending this Dennys the family had first gone to another one north of here.
When we arrived we were shown to our table. Nearly twenty minutes in and they hadn’t even asked what we wanted to drink. Glancing to our side behind the counter we noticed two waitresses arguing about who was going to serve us. Not that they wanted to serve us. But it seemed like they didn’t want to. And still we waited. No service. After taking so long we had had enough and left.
On the other hand, still craving Denny, our family decided to go to THIS one and within 5 minutes of being seated they had taken our complete order. Another 15 our food was ready and the server was on par. We were incredibly happy with their service and food and we WILL be returning to THIS Dennys again.

Dennys is Denny’s, fast, cheap and good. Right across the movies, it’s a late night stopby after the flick. I love their milkshakes and the pies. I tried out this potatoe bread burger with French fries in it and can’t recall the nane (I think it’s one those seasonal specials) but it was surprisingly good. Service is usually fast and wait is average, depending how full they are

Dear Denny’s,
Oh wow. What a Halloween Night! We partied until the sun started to break through the horizon and slept until it was almost dusk… Starving, dehydrated and in dire need of food we began our trek to Casavana. As we arrived I noticed the familiar yellow sign and realized that what I really wanted was you, Denny’s. :)
What little energy I had left was to make it to the booth they sat us in. We were immediately taken care of and given menus, and had water within seconds. This guy was GOOD! Our server was this charming little old man that provided the best service I’ve had in a while! He was super on point and never let our water or coffee get below half a glass.
I ended up ordering this new breakfast Slamwich thing that was super good. It had eggs, cheese, sausages, and bacon on a potato bread that was kinda sweet like maple syrup. :) The bf ordered the All American slam, which I think he managed to disappear within 10 minutes. We also shared a side of pancakes that were really soft and melted in my mouth.
This was exactly what I need to shake the hangover from the night before. It really hit the spot and I felt completely attended to. At some Denny’s you start to wonder if your server is ever coming back. LOL
