D D’s by the Grove Drive Thru Cleaners

I went there for work pants and jeans alterations. They did a great job matching the original hem. Very reasonnably priced as well.

Took 4 men’s dress shirts in. Very friendly at drop off. Picked them up and was shocked that the total was over $ 20. No mention that I would pay 4.85 per shirt. I think the clerk must have thought I was only visiting and she would get away with the bait and switch. Too bad… I could have been a lifetime customer as I moved in just down the street. Not recommended.

Very small place and you probably wouldn’t think much of it in passing but it’s great! I specifically go for alterations — cheap and fast. I mention these two because these are always the problems I face with places that do alterations — always expensive, and they take so damn long. DD’s will have it ready for you when you need it. I brought a delicate dress with rhinestones to be altered. I was nervous because I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to alter a dress like this. I knew it could be ruined easily and I knew I did not want this to occur (obviously — it was my NYE’s dress!). Picked it up just a couple days later and it fit just as I had hoped (and just as the lady working there said it would).

I’ve been taking our dry cleaning clothes to DD’s for about 3 years and they never let me down. The staff is so sweet and honest. If they think something may not come out they tell you. They are always on time with my clothes. They are awesome and so conveniently located.

I am so disappointed in the service provided by this cleaners. I brought in a white shirt to be cleaned and when it was returned it had black lint all over and a black stain on it (that wasn’t there before). When I pointed it out, the owner said that lint is in the air and that is not her fault. As for the stain, she tried multiple times and now I would need to sign a waiver to get it dry cleaned again. She was so rude and abrupt. She offered no apologies. I removed all the lint and the stain from the shirt at home very easily, something they should have done! The manager is clearing not making a priority to take care of customers. This place is overpriced and can’t get the job done right! I will not be returning.

The ladies that run this shop are super nice helpful and en pointe! Brought a huge bag in for same day wash and fold service and they turned it around in a few hours– wow! Aside from being pricier than I expected (this IS south Florida, near coral gables after all– so I shouldn’t be surprised) it was perfect!

The folks at DD’s are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful when you come in. In the area this is the best place to take your clothes. They will do just about anything you need done and that includes alterations.

So I hate leaving reviews about my favorite places because everyone will start going there and ruin it for me, but I’m moving so it’s ok. This is the best drycleaner in Miami. I always take my clothes here including my suits, and they do a great job. I took my boyfriends suit here on a Monday and needed it back by Thursday for a trip which I thought was short notice, but they assured me it was no problem. The suit was ready on Wednesday and they called to let me know so I could come get it. Great job as always, friendly, helpful, and affordable!

I brought a dress in specifically to have a stain removed. When I picked it up the stain was still there. In the past when this has happened at other cleaners I wasn’t charged, but D D’s insisted I pay the full $ 12+. It’s as simple as that. I won’t be returning.

I’ve been a customer for years, have never had any problem, very nice & friendly staff, & great service. Clothes always consistently well cleaned & pressed. Prices are reasonably good too.

Great cleaners, prompt service, reasonable prices, no A/​C while dropping off or picking up though.
Will wash and fold at $ 1.75 per pound, unsorted. They do some pressing in house too.
