Everything about this place is a huge YES. It’s the closest thing to authentic Jamaican jerk chicken thar you can get in the states — cheap eats with left overs — majorly tasty with large portions — get that Mac and cheese mmmm!

I love clives, their oxtail and curry goat are the best I’ve had in Miami so far. and trust me I’ve tried multiple places. There is limited parking, however you can always park on the side street that’s located right next to the café. The staff is really nice, and I will continue to keep coming.

I love Clives and the new location gives them the much more space to authentic food from Jamaica. The jerk chicken has the right amount of spice and falls right off of the bone. The beef patties are melt in your mouth soft and pair perfectly with a touch of hot sauce. The macaroni salad also is on point with a mix of pepper, vinegar and mayo. Lunch here is fast, delicious and affordable and truly a gem of little Haiti.

Jerk chicken was great, stew beef was good as well as the bake chicken. I didn’t care to much for the rice. It was a bit dry but I am a fan of sticky white rice so give the rice a try. I will be going back to try the curry. So next time Miami.

This place was VERYGOOD! We wanted out of the tourist area and into some good, local Caribbean food. Don’t let«Little Haiti» scare you. We Über’d here and back to South Beach. The place is nice, the food is good and the local owners and family make it even sweeter.

I’ve been coming here for the past three months, on average of 8.5 times per week. Yes it’s that good. Easily the best jerk chicken I’ve ever tried. If you can handle some spice, load up in their special secret jerk sauce… I’ve seen my coworker get a second plate after he finished his meal several time, but not because he was hungry — it’s just that good. Jerk chicken all the way.

after watching Action Bronson’s wonderful youtube video about his visit to Clive’s Café, I was definitely eager to try it out. The food was meh… ordered a beef patty, the crust was meh and the taste was just mediocre. Ordered the curry goat, it was mediocre, maybe if I didn’t eat jamaican food once a week, I would have enjoyed it. The sauce was a little bit salty so thats why I thought it was just mediocre. The rice and peas were good. I would come back to try their brown stew, but so far there is a better option thats not too far from here at B&M.

After waking up with a craving for some good Jamaican food, we arrived at this restaurant after reading favorable Unilocal reviews. We noticed immediately there were a lot of cars in the parking lot and a lot of Jamaicans inside ordering food, which is always a good sign. We started off with a spicy beef patty, which was good, and a small red pea soup. The soup was quite tasty and served piping hot. For our entrees we ordered curry chicken and brown stew chicken, both served with veggies and, rice and peas. The curry was very good as well as the brown stew, the only thing stopping me from giving them five stars was the overall spice element usually associated with Jamaican food was not present. However, you were given hot sauce to add at your liking. I personally prefer my food being cooked with the spice of instead of adding afterwards.

Hidden diamond, like most delicious food spots. I had the curry goat with rice n peas and plantains. Spicy enough to make you reach for some water but not overwhelming like other Jamaican places. Wife had the oxtail, also delicious.. Food 5 stars. price under 10 dollars per plate. Gave it a 4 star because the dinning room is tiny, not in a good neighborhood and has limited parking. But the food was awesome.

Clive’s café is a restaurant without pretension. The location is unassuming, the dining area is tiny, and I believe that the majority of their business is take-out. If you are looking for a nice dining experience then you should eat some Japanese food. If you want the best fucking jerk chicken you’ve ever had, and the most potent homemade ginger beer available outside of a Jamaican grandmother’s kitchen(which I guess Clive’s actually is) then try Clive’s Café.

This is the first time I’ve been been to Clive’s Little Haiti location since they moved from Wynwood. They’re located in a small run down plaza with a decent amount of parking. The interior is small with a few two seater tables. I decided to dine in and it was quite an experience. Right across the street an eclectic Voodoo botanica loaded with life sized creepy statues of spirit effigies was blaring«violent» Voodoo drumming music. I enjoyed listening to the wild frenzied music while eating and sipping on my sorrel. Ordered 1st time — Curry chicken & white rice with a side of mac and cheese($ 7.50) — Sorrel($ 3.00) The curry chicken wasn’t bad at all, it was spicy and flavorful. The mac and cheese was a little bland and the sorrel had the typical sweet flowered taste which I love. 4STARS Ordered 2nd time — Curry chicken & white rice with a side of mac and cheese($ 7.50) — Sorrel($ 3.00) Yes I ordered the very same thing, but it wasn’t the same taste or consistency. The gravy was watery, the chicken was overcooked and falling apart. Around 15 minutes after I finished eating I had to run to the throne room… twice. My stomach was some what upset afterwards too. 2STARS I don’t think I’ll be coming back, it seems the food has become inconsistent since they moved to the new location.

Love the vibe, the two owners are very sweet. I like the oxtails, jerk chicken, and curry chicken… I also like their fried conch is really good to. We come at least once a week for lunch. Hidden secret.

nice! i am so glad to know that clives is back in business. a little north now but still they are serving the same tasty food. same smiley service, laid back. im not jamaican or anything but i think this spot serves a mean curry goat and mannish water. for those of you that are afraid of the neighborhood, no need to worry unless you look just like george zimmerman.

Being a Toronto native, I’m used to having access to a smörgåsbord of international cuisine. The things I miss the most are cheap phở, saag paneer, and good Jamaican food. One night while scouring google I came across this place and decided to give it a shot. It’s now in my regular rotation. The curry goat is great, and grab a piece of cake while you’re at it. I usually go in right before closing time, so by that point the dumplings are approaching a quality of staleness that isn’t ideal, but I’ll still go with it. The gravy is heavenly — nicely spiced with just enough kick. My only complaint is a few times the goat has been a little too fatty for me, but otherwise, I’m happy I found this place, reminds me of home.
