If you arrive in the morning the staff will sit inside doing nothing and just look at you behind a locked door until it’s exactly 10:00 in the heat. Also be prepared to wait a LONG time for a cut. I will never return to this location.

This is the only place that my 2 year old will sit through a haircut, I believe his stylists name is Marta. He goes through about 6 lollipops, between that and the personal tv, he does awesome!

Vilma is always fantastic very kind and an excellent stylist my daughter has been a loyal client since 9 months :)

Today I went for my son first haircut she even gave him a little certificate with his hair in a lil bag it was super cute, I loved it the lady that did it was vilma super sweet she entertained my son with toys and she had Mickey Mouse clubhouse for him whenever he got scared or moved she knew what to do to entertain him, it was fast the process and it was great, they even have a area of toys for kids which he loved playing that he didn’t even want to leave :) I recommend this place I would come back again

I have taken my two boys to get haircuts with Vilma since the start. She is patient, caring, and always smiling. Our boys love her! Highly recommended.

Terrible service and experience. Never going back. The staff was unprofessional and seemed to be bothered that they had to work when we walked in. No one was friendly at all and I expected them to be since it is a kids salon. The prices are also outrageous. I personally feel the stylist overcharge for services. Actually while I was there one of the stylist told me so. She told me some stylists do take advantage when they can and that was straight from one of their employees mouth. I will try lil jungle on us1 and 139^th.

ok so after my last experience the manager contacted me and asked us to give one more chance and that she personally would make us an apointment with vilma (they are noramlly only walk ins) i was hesitant but agreed bc i remember the experience with vilma being so great.
i was really busy at work so my husabnd took our son to the haircut last week. my husband text me throughout and couldnt believe how calm and great our son did (after the disaster last time) he was having fun, listened to vilma, and was relaxed while she washed his hair and then cut it. she gave a great cut. his hair is totally even now. he sat patiently playing with toys while she snipped away.
she is truly a great hair stylist and soooo good with kids. some people are extraordinary at what they do and vilma is one of them.
i cant give 5 stars bc of the other stylists, but vilma and the management defintiely have it well put together and we will be back time and time again, for vilma only!

Always bring my daughter here. Good place for kids hair cuts. The staff are friendly and they work best to accommodate your needs. They are patient with kids. The front desk girl is friendly and will try her best to help you.

Yesterday I took my 8 month old for his 1^st haircut at te falls location, my husband and I were looking for the best place to do it, and we found cartoon cuts, I can say the three of us loved the experience here, and Romi was awesome and very professional, she perfectly understood the style we were looking for, and we loved the result, I am definitly coming back! I recommend cartoon cuts and Romi 100%.

If you come here, you definitely need to go with Vilma she is absolutely amazing, very kind, and do a awesome job with my kids hair.

So it had been a while since my son got a haircut. A while as in hair in his face, and long enough where I could put his hair in a tiny ponytail. I know what you’re thinking, lazy… lazy… but I was giving him hair cuts, trimming the front, and leaving the back… but then the hair took over, and I waived my white flag, and off we went to get a hair cut.
Walk in — sign in. Wait.
There are toys for the kiddos to play with, which is great because it entertained while we waited. This however, backfired on me because he did not want to let the toy go when we were called over.
Didn’t wait long a mere 7 minutes at the most.
She put Mickey Mouse Club House on while she hacked away his lengthy hair.
She did a great job entertaining him, talking to him, distracting him to look one way so she could snip.
All employees are kind, and professional. I’ve gone here twice, and each time a pleasant one.
Oh did I mention the only way my son would cut his hair is if I sat on the chair with him on my lap? — Other than that it was alllllll good in the hood.

After I posted a bad review for the Cartoon Cuts location in Town & Country I was contacted by someone from their customer service department who asked me to give them a second chance at this location at The Falls.
I had no idea how badly a hairdresser (her name was Romi) could butcher a simple trim on a child who will sit perfectly still and quiet for the duration of the cut.
I posted pictures of the uneven disaster my daughter was left with. After I called to complain they told me to come in and they would fix her hair.
I was greeted with defensiveness. No one apologized or even acknowledged the fact that her hair was badly screwed up.
Luz, the person responsible for fixing the crap haircut, kept suggesting that the reason the cut was uneven was because of my child. I have documented proof of my child sitting like a freaking statute throughout the cut.
While she was «fixing» my daughters hair she took TWO phone calls on her cell. At the second call I went to the front desk to ask to speak to the manager. The girl at the front desk was actually on the phone with the manager and allowed me to speak to her.
When Luz saw that I was on the store phone she called me over to see what she had done to my daughters hair. When I commented on how short it was she took the cape off my daughter and began to tell at my husband and I. She called us «grosero» in front of our child, among other bad things. And I didn’t even get a chance to inspect my kids hair before she picked her up and put her on the ground.
To call Luz unprofessional is an understatement. She is a despicable human being who should never be allowed to work around children with that language she uses.
These people are horrendous! NEVER AGAIN will I bring my kid in for a cut here, and if you like for your child to have decent looking hair, and you don’t want to deal with a weeks worth of, «why did that lady yell and say ugly things to mommy and daddy?» Go somewhere else.

be prepared to wait, quite a while. they take their time, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. I wish they would take appointments! we usually leave our name down and walk around the mall. but other than that, we are very pleased with the quality of the haircut that our daughter received.

I’ve been bringing both my son and daughter here for almost seven years and Vilma always cuts their hair. She is great at what she does and has no trouble with different cuts. And she has recommended some great products that have become brand favorites for me and are always available when I bring someone in for a cut. even have her cut my hair. Great prices too. I have yet to come in for just a blow dry but now that they are offered I will definitely be getting one in the near future.

Looking for the best place to have my son’s first haircut… Thank god i found this one! We loved the experience here! My 1 month old son was very relaxed and Romy did a really great job, she even washed his hair and when we realized that he was so relaxed and falling asleep she started to give him massages in his little head… He was in heaven! I’m very thankful, definitely coming back! Ask for Romy she is great! Leonardo is happy, he found a new aunt! :)

I was very reluctant in coming to cut my daughter’s hair here as my experience was awful in the town and country location. One year later, here I am. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at this location. I had to wait about twenty five minutes but I’m glad I had Barbara assigned to my little one. She did such a great job and my daughter left so happy. It was such a different experience. She was patient and accomadating and her haircut really came out great. Vilma seems to also be extremely popular as many people walked in and asked for her. and left because she wasn’t there. I will definitely be back to see Barbara.

The best place to come with your kiddos! Vilma is an angel with all children. I love this amazing hair stylist!!! #1 in patience and a wonderful professional!!!

I think this place forgot that you do t want to spend the whole day here. Nice of them to provide toys and movies while you wait but I have never been here where kids get their hair cut in less than a half hour after being seated for a cut. Here with three kids watching the same child get clipped for almost forty minutes while we wait. Ugh.
Took two hours overall– I don’t know what takes the checkout process so long, but it is painful watching the staff hunt and peck the keyboard for 15 minutes just so that we can pay and leave.

I really love this place for my daughter. I have never had a long wait here, even on a Saturday. They have toys in front to keep the kids busy. At the station’s, they play movies for the kids. My daughter loves getting her hair washed before her haircut. And best of all neither my daughter nor son have gotten a bad hair cut here.
For my son though, now that he is six, I prefer a barber shop. He needs hair cuts more often and Barber shops are cheaper.

This place is the best kids haircut place in Miami. I’ve tried at least 5 others and none of them hold a candle to Cartoon Cuts. Great customer service and quality cuts for the little ones. I just wish I still lived close. But whenever we’re in the area and my son needs a cut I always take him here.
