Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza

El lugar en si es muy bonito, pero la comida no pasa nada!!! Las alitas a pesar que son cocidas en el horno y son menos grasosas que otros lados NO dan nada para acompañarlas (bluechesse o ranch, etc) por ende era demasiado difícil de comerlas, la pizza de basil con tomate no tenía sabor alguno, y la sangría que pedí tuve que devolverla por qué la frutas que estaban adentro se encontraban en mal estado…
Aunque la atención fue buena lamentablemente la comida no cumplió con los objetivos que esperaba …
No creo que regrese

It’s an ok pizza place. There are definitely better locations. We were seated right away which is amazing. We saw the waiter twice at the beginning and at the end to give us the check. The pizza is okay. Wasn’t too filling to be honest. Little Cesar’s gets you fuller than here. Anyways, it’s an okay place to eat. Looks family oriented.

Absolutely LOVE their Paul and Young Ron pizza which consists of meatballs, sausage, hot or sweet peppers and ricotta cheese. All their pizzas are thin and well cooked in a coal oven making the edges a bit crispier and well done. They have a delicious caprese salad made of thickly sliced tomatoes and mozzarella covered in shredded basil, and includes cooked red and green pepper slices as well. They serve it with oil and balsamic vinegar on the side. The restaurant has televisions and framed pictures of artists throughout. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Tons of excellent beer and pizza. What more can you ask for. Ask for the white pizza with garlic it life changing.

An extensive pizza menu, delicious sides, and tons of craft beers to choose from? I’m impressed! Anthony’s gets it right, and more with their great coal fired pizza and fantastic Italian food. I’m now a huge fan of their great meatballs (some of the best I’ve ever had), and their broccoli rabe and sausage was out of this world (bitter fresh greens with savory sausage, yum!). We also ordered the eggplant pizza and it was crispy and fantastic, with lots of fresh eggplant, and a nice coal fired flavor. The atmosphere of Anthony’s is great too-​friendly waitstaff (willing to answer my husband’s million beer questions) and great décor.

If you are looking for traditional pizza this is not the place. However, If you are looking for pizza that is amazing then look no further. The pizza is cooked in a coal fired oven and had a nice flavor. All of their ingredients are fresh and you can taste the difference.
We were waited on by Lorenzo and when he heard it was our first time he made some great suggestions and even gave us a sample of their grilled wings. He recommended we come back on Wednesday for martini and meatballs. They have $ 5 martinis and walk around with food samples to try! The manager came over and greeted us also and was very helpful.
I am excited we found this place and we will definitely be back.

I like this Anthony’s a lot. There’s a lot of restaurants in this shopping center but this is always a good pick. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. Food is always bright out extra hot. As its charcoal! Restaurant is dimly lit as all of them, which I really like.

Pizza is delicious although a bit pricey. Just about $ 20 for a large with a topping. I normally order the mushroom. This location always seems very slow during lunchtime. Our pizza has always been accurate. But today, they forgot to cut it and did not give us utensils or plates.

Love the Pizzas here especially the Paul
& Young Ron which has sweet peppers and more and just taste great. Also if you want something more basic I enjoy the mushroom pizza or prescutto pizza. The prices are not very cheap all pizzas being over 20 unless you go Tuesday’s but if you enjoy a very good coal fire it’s a great go.

I’ve been visiting this location since they opened and can’t believe I haven’t posted a review. They are so deserving of a five star or more!
On Wednesday, we joined our friends who love eating here on this day. Why??? Specials! They have incredible martini’s for only 5 bucks. If that wasn’t enough of a reason, on Wednesday, they also walk around with trays of samples for you to try. Meatballs etc. If they are a bit busy, the trays do slow down a bit, understandably so.
Of course, the main reason you visit… PIZZA! My complete weakness and as picky as I am, they do it right with a unique flair. Coal fired. I completely love the burned edges and special taste that happens when they cook their pizza. We ordered mushroom and onion and it was perfection. That sentence can be repeated on auto dial/​post for each visit that I have ever done since day 1.
Regarding service, it’s always fabulous. Usually, there are at least two people greeting you as you enter. Once seated, the servers are very attentive and efficient.
In summary, I’m a huge fan of this place!

I really love pizza. I went to Anthony’s for the first time in a very very long time, and ordered the arugula pizza. Although the pizza was great, except for an unnecessary amount of arugula, the service was pretty bad. The pizza took for ever because they burned the first one, so the manager came to apologize, but we still had to wait and pay full prize for the pizza. I was also really disappointed at the fact that they only sell bottled drinks. I was really expecting them to have a nice brewed ice tea but when I ordered they brought a bottle of ice tea i can get at any store, and for less. I do have to say that the place is nice, clean and the pizza is really good, but I don’t think I will eat in there again, if anything I will order take-​out. I can brew my ice tea at home.

Words can’t begin to describe my experience here from when you walk into the building. Wow simply… wow the wait staff, the food and just everything this place deserves to be a five star restaurant and the prices are amazing!!!

First time eating at Anthony’s today. My husband and i had the wings and lunch special pizza. Great food, great prices and absolutely wonderful service from the bartender. We will definitely be coming back !

This place was awesome.
So I showed up to pick up my pizza and wings, and when I get there the hostess tells me it’s not ready. About 2 minutes later the manager comes out and tells me that they screwed up the original pizza, and that’s why it wasn’t ready when I got there.
The manager then proceeds to tell me that they accidentally put olives on part of the pizza, so to make up for my trouble they re-​made the pizza, gave me both pizzas, and added a bunch of extra wings. I mean, who does that? To top it off, when I looked at the «bad» pizza, there were olives on 1 slice…99% of places would have just given it to me and not said a word.
The whole «problem» literally only added a 5 minute wait.
So big props to this place! They have awesome customer service, and quality pizza. I will definitely go back!

This is one of the most delicious pizzas I have ever had. I ordered the small Italian salad to start off with and it was large enough for two to split and still have room for the main course. The house dressing was perfect with just the right amount of vinager so that you didn’t have a sour taste left in your mouth. I then was served an incredible pizza that could have been considered a work of art with giant hot finger b peppers, home made sausage, freshly sliced pepperoni, and olives. The friendly waiter with a slight New York Italian accent then served me a slice, that had the perfect mix of ingrediants. The pizza was so flavorful but not overwhelming with each bite being a new surprise. It was not doused in grease, so I didn’t feel guilty eating it after a workout.
The décor is tasteful and historic, with even a signed picture of an astronaut. You can’t forget or even miss the tribute to Frank Sinatra with all the large pictures of him. The Funky Buddha brewing co. even has brewed a special beer for the place called forgetaboutit.
This was one of the cleanest eating establishments I have ever been to in south Florida with the bus boy sweeping after each table has left. The lighting creates a perfect atmosphere for dinner as well as the music being the perfect volume for conversation and to avoid an awkward silence if you come here on a first date.
If I could give this place more than five stars I would that is how perfect it is. I even made the comment that this pizza was better than a pizza I ate in New York. I recommend this place for pizza lovers everywhere and if you aren’t a fan of pizza the table next to me had amazing looking meatballs and wings that I can’t wait to try next time I make the 20min journey just to eat here.

I had the large pizza half pepperoni and mushrooms. And the other half was tomato and basil. The pizza was excellent and my wife and I highly recommend it. The wings are next.

We held a fundraiser and this restaurant offered to help. They contributed their ricotta meatballs, garden salad and chicken wings. The meatballs are a good size with a thick and tasty marinara sauce. The chicken wings were covered in sauteed onions and included both wings and drumsticks. The garden salad was simple with crisp lettuce, red onions and large slices of ripe tomatoes. A balsamic vinegar dressing is included.
This is a very clean, friendly and fun place. I’d definitely go back because of the overall quality of food, pricing and service. But, I’d like to mention that they are very community minded, so please give them a try!
They also have a take-​away station that has parking right in front of the door. I noticed a lot of customers coming in for pizza and a pot of the meatballs.

I can’t believe I have forgotten to rate one of my favorite pizza parlors!!! I love love Anthony’s pizzas… my favorite is the Paul and Young Ron and the Meatballs and ricotta, my mouth melts just thinking about them! their chicken wings are good and the meatballs are delish! I always order to go since i live near the area. Had only dine/​lunch in twice before and service was good so was the ambiance.

I drink Scotch, so I enjoy the taste of smoke, peat and a well tenured wood burn.
So, having your attention, that element of smoke is infused in much of what is to be had at Anthony’s. Their pizza of course is baked in a genuine wood charcoal burning oven, and yes, they’ve been the originals at doing that in Miami-​Dade for years already. But they don’t stop there, they refuse to limit their oven-​baking to simply pizza pies, they push the envelope and work their wings infused with rosemary herbs to absolute perfection! Do not miss the opportunity to taste their crispy, toasty, delectable chicken wings, you will not regret it and hopefully think of the time you spent reading this review as well worth the minute of your time.

Real tasty pizza and amazing chicken wings. The best were their meatballs! Just a little pricey for lunch with the kids but worth it. The service was great as well. My waiter was real creative with the kids. My girls and their friend loved it.
I definitely would come again!
