Great food, only 4 stars because of the wait. Me and hubby ordered lemon pepper wings and fries and it took about 30 minutes. The place was a bit crowded so it was expected. They also offer lobster which was popular and takes longer to make. The mystery drink is good and so is the red velvet cake.

So this random Finga Licking visit was filled with mixed feelings on this spot. Came to Finga Licking for the first time and I was impressed with the food but disappointed in the service. It took long to get my food but the grilled shrimp dinner I got was so on point. Flavor, how perfectly grilled it was and the size of the shrimp itself were top notch. Wish they served bigger portions of shrimp though(dinner plate only had about 6 – 8 shrimps) but along with the dinner plate comes to 2 side orders, I got Mac n cheese and French fries. Both were side orders were alright but didn’t overwhelm me like the grilled shrimp. This spot is a pretty cool place to have a quick casual lunch/dinner with friends. Plenty of seating inside and outside of the restaurant, pricing is reasonable for the quality of food you’re getting but the service is a little slow. That shouldn’t be a problem if your hanging out and not rushing anyway. P. S. Try the mystery drink!

To use the word delicious would be an understatement! Pretty decent sized portions but it’ll cost you! Atmosphere: if you choose to dine in, the room isn’t very big; I believe it can only seat 30 people. However, on a week night/game night… This is the perfect place to be! Three huge tvs makes it hard to have a bad spot. They have HEAT murals on the wall and Art Basel photos on the wall. Good vibes for a kickback spot. Food: soul food extraordinaire! The food was ! I got the mystery drink because it was recommended– sooo good! I also ordered the fried shrimp and grilled lobster tail with mac & yams. Clearly I overate but it was worth every bite! The lobster tail was larger than I expected and was cooked to perfection(not rubbery). They also make a house lobster sauce that is pretty good. I mixed it with hot sauce and it was perfect! Service: the service was great! Our waitress was helpful and attentive. Also, it didn’t take long for us to receive our food after placing our order. I will most definitely be back!

Shockingly great! I didn’t expect that. This to go place serves restaurant quality food and its vegetarian friendly. I ordered the veggie Alfredo pasta and fried broccoli. I wish they served alcohol. This place is in dire need of expansion.

Place is great! Food is always fresh and hot. I absolutely love the fingalickin sauce on everything. The lemon pepper wings are my go to but you can’t go wrong with the fried lobster. All of the sides are great but my fave has to be that Mac n cheese. Taste like mommas cooking with a little spice and Miami flavor to it. A great plié to visit while your in Miami! When you go make sure to tell them Big Gee sent you. Enjoy

I came here after work at about 11:45pm. Parking lot is very tight and compact. I ordered the chicken wings and the shrimp dinner. Honestly the shrimp dinner only had 4 shrimp for $ 11.They gave me 8 wings. The prices are a bit expensive. The meal together was $ 25. The mystery drinks are very good. This place is good but a little overrated. The Mac and cheese was good as was the broccoli. I had to try it due to how much it’s been endorsed by rappers and singers. It’s a decent place but a little on the pricey side. I wouldn’t necessarily die to go here but it’s a good place to try when you have the money.

I gave this location a four out of five because the yams were the bomb. But, the mac n cheese was really ummm. lacking for a foodie like me. I got the fingalickin wing dinner, mystery drink, & a pound cake they ran out of red velvet. But all in all food was good and i will be back.

If you are hungry and want large helpings then Fingalicking is your place. I received three large pieces of grilled and very well seasoned tilipia. The seafood rice is an expensive upgrade but very good. The mystery drink is sweet but good none-the-less. The only negative is the collard greens was very salty(not my thing). The restaurant is small but very clean with an armed security guard outside for those that may question the neighborhood. The staff is pleasant and the music is a mix of old-school and new. Will definitely return.

I came here with the knowledge that this restaurant is DJ Khaled’s personal treasure. I also came here with zero expectations. I figured it would be the standard Southern comfort food experience, and that’s exactly what it was. I had the chicken tenders with collard greens and Mac and Cheese. The chicken tenders were extremely juicy, and fried to perfection. I was pleased, but honestly… I was also in complete shock. These were top-tier chicken tenders. Good chicken tenders are difficult. Overcook the chicken, and they’re hard, undercook and it’s pink and it wrecks your stomach. The fried skin hugged your tastebuds and really complemented the chicken itself. An unexpected favorite. The collard greens were quite good. A traditional recipe, probably one from a Southern family. Really satisfying, very light. Complemented the rest of the meal very well. The Mac and Cheese* was quite good as well. No rants and raves, just a nod of respect to whoever made it. Great texture, just enough cheese, and went well with the chicken. *The only problem – I asked for a double order of the Mac and Cheese and they told me I couldn’t do that. Maybe that’s changed. Personally, I think it’s a very bad policy. At worst, a double order could be processed for an additional fee. Why wouldn’t you allow your customer to get a double order of a side instead of two different ones? It seems entirely unnecessary. DJ Khaled, if you are reading this… please fix this somehow. You could even call double orders«Lion Orders» and charge a premium, but just let people get double orders!!! Other stuff: — The place was your standard fast food restaurant interior. Most people ordered to-go, so maybe you’ll be able to find a seat — Prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for – at least with the chicken tender meal — 99 Jamz was playing when I went and, for what its worth, I heard 4DJ Khaled songs — Parking is fine, avoid peak hours if you can Worth going at least once. I hear the seafood is fine, and probably would’ve gotten a shrimp/lobster dinner(warning: much pricier) if it weren’t for allergies.

The food wasn’t bad. I feel like it was a little pricy for the portions. Tried some of my friends fried lobster and tilapia. Both were pretty good. I had fried chicken, seafood rice(yellow rice, crab, shrimp, vegetables) and fried shrimp. Added a mystery punch which was excellent and it was maybe 29.00 Service was good. I think I did it for the exoerience, not anywhere I would rush back to.

Stopped in from Tampa because of all the hype. Have to say it was pretty good. Our waitress Precious was very helpful and friendly. We ordered the grilled lobster, Mac and cheese also the fried tilapia and yams. It was really good. I would recommend it if you were in the area definitely.

Heard about this place on the radio. Promoted and owned by Miami’s DJ Khaled(so you know the music bumping in there is on point.) The lemon pepper wings and the Mac and cheese were tasty. Candied yams also good, a little too sweet for me, but maybe I’m from another planet. The other menu options looked interesting: croissant melts, fried broccoli, quesadillas, seafood rice, and more. Seems like a good late-night spot. If you like lemonade try the«famous mystery drink.»

Smh! This was my first visit… everyone at the front was engaged in their own convo… I had to interrupt by saying excuse me, may I place an order. No one was helpful when I was asking questions about the menu. They Gave me a buzzer… when it buzzed I came back. She asked for the receipt. .which I didn’t have. She requested that I go back to the car. She wasn’t very verbal. Pricey for the amount of food given, especially. I may try them again in the future. Food was good. .minus the yams..

SLOWSLOWSLOW! did I text slow. Khaled need to come and regulate. The Mac and cheese is small and blan. The broccoli bites are good and crispy. The veggie rice is ok but mostly blan tasting more like bell pepper. The friend shrimp is a good size and taste good like shrimp I see seasonings on there but it doesn’t taste too seasoned which is ok you don’t wanted to be too salty. The lemonade is not made fresh it is gross. Overall it’s pretty good it’s nice and clean hope the kitchen is the same it’s a nice try for DJ Khaled but how much more money do you need and if you have all this money you need to do something else like more positive for the youth for the city of Miami Gardens community which you do not live in.

I’ve come here a couple of times because I have a craving for their mystery drinks. Parking varies depending on the time you come, so if you’re an early bird like me who wants to park stress free, you can do so here. It’s good that they’re working on a little dining area, because everyone can’t order take-out. The food is a hit and miss, for the price they charge. My previous order included a chicken croissant with fries and a side of Mac n cheese plus the mystery drink for $ 16. I wish they could put a little more ice in the drinks because it melts too quickly. Also, some of the employees at the counter need to keep it a little more professional.

Good food just a bit over priced. Menu makes no sense. Fried lobster and shrimp meal is $ 29.99 but if you order the fried lobster meal alone it’s $ 22.99 plus the add on for shrimp $ 5.99 will save you a buck. I Will keep returning. Try the lemon pepper shrimp

Absolutely loved the food here! I ordered the fried lobster with seafood rice and candied yams. My boyfriend had the wings with fried broccoli(Don’t judge us on the fried broccoli). The seafood rice was great minus the imitation crab, the fried broccoli was so amazing! I would def recommend trying this place out! Also, I would advise you not to order the mystery drink(You will get diabetes just from one sip!)

I WAS a big fan of Fingalicking before I tried their newest location. I was actually excited to hear about their new location because their first location while good, could use a lot of improvements(including a bigger lot for parking space and to expand the restaurant size, more wait staff because two waitresses is just not it and more kitchen staff to shorten the wait time for the food). Unfortunately, the new Fingalicking location failed to impress. First off, this is a take out only restaurant! WTF? I thought I would have to go around back to bypass the line that was out the door(like their old location). So they actually downsized! Wait time was 25 minutes for my food. The girl sitting next to me said she had been waiting for about 35 minutes. 0_o Food I got the same meal I always get at the sit down restaurant Fingalicking spot, which is the fried lobster bites, with seafood rice, corn and candied yams. Well! This location kept messing other people’s orders who asked for candied yams. I was told their candied yams were sold out and I would have to get something else. I ordered collard greens even though I really wanted candied yams. Only for the employee to come back 5 minutes later and say, they found one order of candied yams! That was suspect, how do you find one order of candied yams? They need better management with food inventory so that they will know well in advance when candied yams are low so they can restock! I did try their Fingalicking wings however and that was really good. I would repurchase that again if I was to revisit this restaurant(BUTDEFINITELYNOTATTHISLOCATION). The Fingalicking sauce is a spicy mustard bbq sauce. Food quality I did not enjoy this meal at all. It isn’t nearly as seasoned as the other location. They need to get their kitchen staff on the same page as the other location because the seasoning here was LACKING! My candied yams were not as sweet as I would have liked. My corn was canned corn and the main entrée fried lobster tails tasted like salt and oil! I was expecting a well seasoned fried lobster bites especially for all the money I paid. The seafood rice was a joke! I had two TAILS of shrimp(remnant pieces as if someone ate the shrimp and dumped the shrimp tails in the rice,), a random French fry, imitation crab meat and one random crab claw. Ummmm, this isn’t a sit down restaurant so I didn’t have anything to crack the crab at this«TAKE-OUT only» place. At the other location their seafood rice, had shrimp THATYOUCOULDACTUALLYSEE in it. And it was very well seasoned. Customer Service The cashier was terrible! She had an attitude from the start. I had to do her job for her by tallying up my order and greeting her. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? I had to place my order twice because she forgot my seafood rice. I wanted the fried lobster bites dinner which comes with two sides then ADD seafood rice for the additional fee of $ 6.99. She first charged me for the dinner, removed one side to substitute with the seafood rice, and charged me $ 5.00. That made no sense at all! Why are you charging me to substitute a side? If you are going to charge me, still give me BOTH of my sides that are included in the dinner. Also, where did the $ 5.00 up charge come from? The menu stated the seafood rice is an add-on with a $ 6.99 additional fee. Mystery Drink Their mystery drink concoction tasted different here. It is literally heavy on the lemonade, splash of iced tea, and blue and red snow cone dye. :/But they skimp out on the two dyes. Price All of this(large mystery drink + fried lobster bites dinner with 2 sides + seafood rice + 4 fingalicking wings meal) for nearly $ 50. *Deep sigh* This place has the financial and marketing potential to be great especially with the backing of E-40 and DJ Khaled. But overcharging for lackluster food that is sold out more times than it is actually in stock and packaged with rude customer service equates a major flop! Good luck but I won’t be patronizing this establishment anymore(at least not this location).
