The Spa at Thompson Miami Beach

Another great spa! Its a beautiful outdoor area with the tables set up in these white tents, I could hear the rain outside, it was magical with a view of Miami beach. My therapist was this Russian guy who was very firm and did a great job. It was so relaxing. Front desk were able to fit me in. I think the price was around $ 125 — $ 150 Which is standard for Miami. I could go there every day. And wow the Thompson hotel was AMAZING, freaking gorgeous outdoor pool and lounge area. Incredible.

This is one of the most well thought out spa experiences you can possibly have. My masseuse was spectacular. She had me feeling refreshed and relaxed. I recommend this location for anyone who is visiting or just needs a good staycastion.

We took advantage of Spa Month while in Miami for a few days’ stay at the Thompson. We were disappointed that we didn’t get our bubbles as we saw others had when we arrived for our massages. Not sure if we didn’t get that because we only booked 2 massages lol. The massages themselves were OK the hot stone was nice…
You are on the 10^th floor outdoor floor with a cabana style massage room. It’s open air but it is private and that’s nice BUT, once he started to give my massage, I could unfortunately, hear the 2 women who we had passed outside sitting and gabbing. Not exactly a serene vibe. Fortunately, they soon left after about 10 min. then it was fine. other than the occasional airplane over head… once we were done we too were escorted to «just outside the massage room» I think they need to usher people into an area further away or inside or whatever. just so that people inside the closed outdoor cabanas can not hear them. You don’t really feel like this is a real special spa like experience here. They need to do more to create that vibe.
