We went to the Cabaret South Beach as there were very few venues for live music at night in South Beach. The piano player and some of the singers were quite good but the service was slow, the Tapas food was so-so and the drinks were awful. We ordered martini’s off of their special list. The first martini delivered to our group(after almost 45 minutes since seating) was warm and the other martini didn’t have any vodka in it, just the mixer. My friends caipirinha didn’t have any sugar added. The Tapas was delivered to our table without plates and it was another 10 minutes before we got anything to eat with. By then, the scallops were cold. When we realized they forgot to bring the rouille sauce with the bacailitos, we were didn’t bother bringing the waitress back because it would mean another wait and by that time, we just wanted the bill so we could leave. So if you go to listen to the music, get a beer or wine but skip the food or cocktails.

I went to the old location and loved it too, however, the new location — inside this amazing historic hotel is even better. The venue takes you back to the 30’s and 40’s Miami Beach and the talent pool speaks for itself — outstanding. I park on the street or the municipal lots surrounding the hotel or take an über — never had an issue as I never valet park! The greatest addition to the new venue is the quality of the food! I go, sit back in a historic Miami Beach hotel, have a cocktail, eat great food while being entertained by TALENT! PERFECTION!!!

Some people will miss the edgy, slightly subversive feel of the old location, but this is where the club should be. Talented singers and players will get a wider audience in an upscale locale. Janae, Yoli, J-Sweet and others will blow you away with their talent, and Edison is a most congenial host. We visited the old location first and we were hooked. Please don’t go to hear DJs playing the same old stuff; go hear the real thing.

Cabaret South Beach, An amazing showdown of pure talent! It has been a shame in Miami Beach that live music venues have been replaced by loud DJ’s and sorry excuses of live entertainment, not anymore, Cabaret South Beach is back and better than ever. Previously located on 12th street with a speakeasy underground feel, due to some, let’s say«unknown issues to me», The Cabaret has relocated inside the National Hotel, and I love it even more. The acoustics in the lobby bar are excellent and enhance the musical talents of the cast. Never heard of Cabaret before, shame on you, cabaret features incredible local talent, all the staff is the talent, servers, doorman, they are all fabulous vocalist that will be delighted to sing all your favorites. A perfect place for dinner or cocktails, don’t wait and visit Cabaret South Beach and«Let them entertain you» Showtime 8pm to 1am! No cover charge! For dinner reservations: 305−504−7500. Two drink minimum per person in the lounge. The Cabaret South Beach @ the National Hotel 1677 Collins Ave. Miami Beach, FL33139 T. 305−504−7500

i spent many a night a the old venue and i will spend many a night at the new one as well. the«cast» is amazing and the vibe is. well the cabaret! Victor is my favorite but all of the players are amazing. Edison, the owner, is a genius. i live in south beach so i have been to them all… this THEONE. the old place had a crazy wonderful vibe that we all miss but this new venue will be just as amazing if Edison is involved. the only thing i really miss is the swing. just sayin…

If you’re looking for terrific live performers in a wonderful Art Deco setting, you’ll do no better than the National Hotel, which now houses Cabaret South Beach. All your favorite performers are here offering the best of cabaret music and you’ll find them doubling as servers too in that great N. Y style tradition. There are also often guest artists as well. But the best news is that Cabaret offers a great new reason to head to the National Hotel, which is one of my favorite South Beach vintage hotels, all spiffed up but still offering authentic 1939 décor. And the food and drink are terrific as well. The National and Cabaret South Beach were made for each other!

If you are looking for live music, then here is where you want to be! Upbeat and lively local talent/bartenders will have you calling for more! The National Hotel is a beautiful backdrop to this unique kind of show. You’ll be sure to have a good time in this positive vibe no matter what night you go. Smiles a plenty and talent to perform your favorite songs. What more could you ask for? Food! Yes, you can have a great dinner, cocktails, or dessert. You choose!

The old one was a hole in a wall but it had a great atmosphere. many musicians that played there I dont see them anymore. the red hair waitress” still there. the new cabaret feels like they rented a space inside the hotel, it feels more like a karaokee night. many of the singers are not there. Whta happened who knows, some new alented tsingers, I’m sorry its just not the same. nope It feels more like you re in a hotel, Oh yeah its a «hotel» I guess the definition of Cabaret for some people dont know what is like and they never been in New York. and thats fine. But… Note: Drinks prices a bit more expensive, valet only 25.00 for parking, public and municipal parking very hard to find anywhere, if you past 8pm might as well come in a helicopter to drop you off. Thats Miami beach narrow streets and no parking. über are illegal in Dade county. Sorry But this place doesnt have the CABARET feel. I just dont buy it. I wasted time and money dont quote me try it for yourself. Oh btw this place is very nice!!!
