I came by myself. Wanted to treat myself to a nice steak dinner. Dinner met every expectation by far. Went with the sashimi starter and the delicious, free, black truffle butter bread. Chose the Australian Wagyu for dinner with the lobster tail to accompany it. And then a side of the truffle Mac. A lot of food for one person, but my gosh was it out of this world. Steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Mac and cheese tasted great. Little bit of crunch added a nice touch to the palette. Decided to go with the doughnut dessert, won’t lie, I saw some of the cake desserts and they looked far better than mine. But all in all it was phenomenal. Had a Manhattan pre-dinner and it was delicious. Both the bartender and the waitress were top of the line and seemed to enjoy being there. Also have a not-so-small cigar menu on the back of the bar menu. Little over priced. But perfect to grab one after dinner and they will walk you out to their patio with first class service. All in all I was over pleased by my dinner. Will be bringing my date back the next time I am in town. Hefty price tag but worth every penny. Expect to pay upwards of $ 300 for 2 people. If you go in to dinner knowing it will cost you some money, it will make your dinner far more enjoyable.

As good as it gets! Went here for my birthday and fell in love. There is not a single thing I did not like. The steak tartare was delish, ribeye was cooked perfectly and the bread pudding was just the perfect ending to our dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had great wine knowledge and selection. Their sides were really tasty, especially the creamed corn(nothing can compare). I will be returning without a doubt.

I go out to dinner often in Miami Beach and so it is not easy to impress me. However, I was impressed last night not only by my delicious meal but the amazing service I received, particularly from the sommelier. The meal was simply delicious what more can I say. My tomahawk steak was perfectly cooked to my desired temperature, medium. The best part of the evening was the expert service from our sommelier, Audrey Tiedman. Not only did she recommend a most wonderful wine for our meal, but was friendly and outgoing and engaged terrifically with us. She also treated us to some tasting of a wine that is very dear to us. She made it a wonderful experience. Like I said, we are not easily impressed, but Audrey impressed us last night. Thank you Audrey.

Absolutely delicious. Husband and I enjoyed every bite of our dinner. If you like having sides with your steak, I highly recommend the sautéed mushrooms and onions. The taste is unbelievable. I live in Vegas and this restaurant is just as good as the steak houses we have on the strip. 5 stars!!!

Strip steak boasts a great wine collection, good music, an active environment and delicious foods. They were very accommodating to my dairy intolerance, and had great steak. The waiters and waitresses had great personalities and had great suggestions. If you like steak, like the name implies it’s the place to be.

One of the best steakhouses in Miami. Amazing service, from the general manager on down. Highly recommend the tuna tartare and Mac and cheese. The seafood is very fresh and the steaks are amazing. Excellent wine selection and friendly staff.

Quick Background about me: 9 years in the hospitality industry(from dishwasher, server, manager, you name it!). Have worked as a personal chef. Traveled extensively through Europe, lived in Africa and South America, Now the U.S. I find myself a foodie and pretty decent at wine… Review: Came here for brunch with friends. I love how it wasn’t packed, crowded, over flowing with drunk people. Food was ONPOINT. Delicious, fresh! My only complaint– TOOMUCH of it! I need a second stomach for this meal. Service staff was amazing, very attentive and kind. I will be back with friends.

All I can say is Eww with a capital E. The food is terrible here. So terrible that we actually walked out and complained to the Fontainebleau manager. I don’t know how this place can stay in business having such poor quality food in such a high end hotel. I should have known at 8:30 on a Friday night when nobody was in the place that we should have gone elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!

My best friend and I came to Stripsteak for a mid-week celebrations of new jobs/promotions at work! We wanted to treat ourselves so decided to check out the Miami Spice menu at Stripsteak. We had picked this restaurant specifically because we wanted to try the short rib dish they had on the menu. Unfortunately, this was part of the August menu and the Spice website hadn’t been updated for the September menu :(Forced to make different choices, I can definitely say we were extremely satisfied with our meal. Obviously, we wanted to start the night off with a bottle of wine seeing as we were celebrating! The wine list at Stripsteak is extensive, and also very expensive. Luckily we found a 2011 Rioja that was in our budget and also delicious. Our waiter brought out some bread which was covered in black truffle butter… we basically inhaled it, and he brought us seconds! On to our actual meal… For our appetizers, we shared the salmon crudo, which was fresh and had a delicious crisp taste from the orange and ginger vinaigrette, and the ricotta cavatelli, which was a combination of sweet and earthy from the butternut squash and mushrooms. For our entrees, we shared the churrasco and the carbonara. The churrasco was tender and perfectly cooked and served with a jalapeño chimichurri which was super spicy, but this was probably because I slathered it all over my steak. It also came with an arugula salad which I didn’t care for because I hate arugula. The carbonara came with a tagliatelle noodle, crispy bacon, and topped with a poached egg. The pasta was rich and flavorful, but the dish was pretty tiny and I wish it came with more! Dessert was(surprisingly!) the course I was least impressed by. We ordered both the peach cobbler and the chocolate orange cream cake. The cobbler was very cook but also very sweet. The chocolate cake was surprisingly less sweet than the cobbler, but didn’t have much of the orange flavor and I was expecting it to be a bit more moist than it was. The cake was good, but not to my preference for chocolate cake. Stripsteak was a wonderful dining experience overall. The restaurant is large, with tall ceilings and beautiful, modern décor. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. They even give each guest a bag of caramel popcorn with chocolate drizzle! I will definitely be back to try the regular menu!

To be concise, THEBESTBRUNCH I’ve ever had. Brunch is a prix fixe. It includes one«fizzy bellboy»(delightful signature cocktail), your choice of a first and second course, and a buffet of seafood, charcuterie, pastries, desserts, etc. I had the yellow tail for my first course and the butter poached lobster for my second. They were both excellent, as were the choices from the buffet. Brunch here is not cheap, but I believe it is a good value. I hope they bring this brunch to the Vegas location!

The service here is outstanding. I really appreciate that given that the service charge is automatically added and thus bad servers might not try as hard. But, the servers and bus boys here are great. We ordered 214oz boneless rib eyes. I wanted medium rare plus but was informed that chef didn’t do that and better to go with medium rare. Ok. So one steak comes out medium rare plus and the other comes out rare(seared with 75% red). I can’t handle that much rare and send it back. Steak comes back medium rare but now dry dry dry on the outside. I guess I should have expected this because you really can’t recook a steak like that and expect it to come out proper. French fries came out soggy. Sent those back and received fresh ones. For $ 12, fries should be crispy, right? The server was kind enough to take the fries off the bill, though. A bit sad to write this review as Michael Mina has been my favorite chef for sometime now. However, he may be lending his name to inferior product at this point. I just haven’t been too impressed with a steak since the last time I was in Chicago… time to buy a plane ticket

I’ll start off with the good points. The atmosphere is very modern and clean. The restaurant is very comfortable and has a cool vibe. Our server was outstanding. He was smiling from beginning to end. He was very knowledgeable of the menu is very good about changes. He had some terrific assistance that kept her beverages full and brought out our food in a timely manner. Now, onto the areas that need improvement. We went to this restaurant to try the Miami spice menu for the first time. This restaurant is extremely expensive but my husband is always looking for places to hold important business dinners and for special patients to bring friends and family. We wanted to take this opportunity to sample some food items that the kitchen must be particularly proud of. The appetizer portion of the cavatelli was absolutely delicious. The pasta tasted homemade and the dish was well balance with The saltiness from the cheese and the unique flavors of the arugula pesto. We ordered the short rib which unfortunately was extremely tough and extremely dry. The dish was a huge failure. I tried the panroasted chicken which lacked flavor and tasted like the worst airplane food I have ever received. The portions were very small and the entrées were not edible. Due to this abysmal experience sampling their food during Miami spice week my husband says he will not come back with business colleagues or friends and family. What a shame that this beautiful restaurant with these talented servers wasted a great opportunity to have a local become a regular customer.

I will definitely return to this place. I am a rib eye lover and I pride myself in grilling a damned good rib eye, but I must now to this place’s rib eye. Heavenly. I have been beaten. Our waiter, David, is extremely helpful and our sommelier, Cho, is excellent. He created a drink for my wife and he said he might name it Mrs. Hang.

I had been trying to make time to visit Stripsteak for a while now, and I finally had the chance to go this weekend. I went for Brunch on Sunday and couldn’t have been happier. I made a reservation for 11:30am and we arrived right on time. We were immediately seated and within 30 seconds our server came to ask about drinks. The menu consists of a pre-fix deal for 2 courses(appetizer and entrée), endless treats(cured meats, cheese, tuna tartar, pastries, and yogurt bar), sweet treats(macarons, marshmallows, chocolate mousse, do-it-yourself sundaes), and a signature cocktail, all for $ 68/person. You can add bottomless champagne, or bloody marys for extra. We started with the signature cocktail, the fizzy bellboy which I loved. I actually got the bottomless champagne so that I could continue drinking these. Our choices for 1st course were the smoked salmon and braised bacon. They were such different dishes but both were perfection, from presentation to taste. Our entrees were the wood grilled skirt steak and French toast. It was all amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection and the French toast was probably the best I’ve ever had. I loved the layer of chocolate with the signature stamp from stripsteak. The service was impeccable. Everyone from our server to the manager was incredibly professional and friendly. They were attentive to us at all times. We couldn’t have had a better experience. The location is of course perfect. The Fountainebleau just doesn’t disappoint. I can’t wait for our next visit, it’ll be for dinner ;)

This review is just based on apps and drinks, but everything was wonderful. The truffle mac and cheese and the«instant bacon» pork belly were so delicious. Drinks and service at the bar were both terrific as well. Bonus: the truffle butter bread… mmmmm! We will be back next trip to try more!

This purely a BRUNCH review. If you’re a frequent review-reader of mine, you’ll know I base my ratings on more than just the usual. There’s always a «Chad Test» involved which means what would my «Quantity over Quality» husband say. This is one of those moments when it all comes down to him as to not be biased as I do with anything FB. At $ 68 ++ inclusive of a free Signature Cocktail(Fizzy Bellboy) and complimentary valet, he approves! After two delicious courses, augmented by several stations(seafood, charcuterie, fresh fruit, pastries), he couldn’t even have dinner that evening. Enough said.

The restaurant is located in the Fountainebleau Resorts on Miami Beach. Nice size restaurant that has two floors of seating. We sat on the top floor by the bar. The restaurant is pretty new so everything inside was clean and immaculate with a modern décor. They were playing club music in the background. They have a full bar that has a TV to watch and a nice wine collection. We started our meal with a bottle of red wine, cosmopolitan, and I had the lychee martini. It was cold and tasty and came with a lychee spear. Then we shared the shrimp cocktail, duck and ricotta cavatelli, yellow tail sashimi, ceasar salad, and the BLT wedge salad. My favorite was the duck and ricotta cavatelli. It was a explosion of complex flavors in my mouth. The bead was ok. It’s infused with truffles and comes segmented so it’s easy to share. It’s very dense and heavy. For my entrée I had the 28 oz bone in rib eye. It was Bad. It tasted bland but the worst part it was mostly Fat and Very Chewy! If I got 7 oz meat that was edible it was alot and it cost $ 69! Plus it was overly smoked. They took that off the bill and I tried the filet. It was ok. A little to salty for my taste. We shared the mac and cheese, creamed spinach, brussel sprouts, and yam purée. They all were good and tasty. The service was good and the staff was great. I wish I can give them a better review but this is what I experienced. Also they add a 18% tip for a party of 5. They gave my friend’s mom a hand written Birthday card which was very nice. Also gave her a free piece of cheesecake and everyone at the table received complimentary bag of caramel popcorn.

One star for great service. One star for great appetizers and drinks. Minus three stars for a catastrophic system failure on the steaks. I mean hello you are a steakhouse and you can’t cook a steak to the right temperature. We were with another couple and a filet was ordered medium. Came out raw. One steak came out cold. My wife ordered skirt steak that was very gamey. I ordered the Waygu strip steak medium rare. Came out well done. All steaks returned. New steaks come out. Filet went from raw to rare when it’s suppose to be medium. Cold steak came back hot but tasteless and chewy. Skirt steak still not pleasant. Worst of all my $ 72.00 Waygu steak was cooked properly but I took one bite that was rubbery like I bought a cheap sirloin somewhere No way was I paying $ 72.00 for that steak. Waygu should be soft as room temperature butter. At that point we were flying at high altitude cause our drinks, service and appetizers were great but then it was flame out on all engines and we were suddenly spiraling back to earth screaming. May Day May Day May Day!!! Unfortunately there was no saving the steaks or us. We climbed out of the crater covered in ashes and burnt smoke to return home never to come back AGAIN
