As other reviewers have mentioned, it is very hard to find a decent dry-cleaner in South Beach, especially when you are from an area(like the northeast) that has good ones in abundance. Adding insult to injury, most of the ones in this area charge high rates for their inferior quality work. Sobe Drycleaners has the dubious distinction of having the most reasonable rates in South Beach. If you pay cash up front, they will even knock off 10%. However, the quality of the work is poor, and the creases they put in trousers rarely wind up in the same place twice. They have parking in the lot of the shopping center where they are located(a plus that most of the other cleaners in South Beach lack). I also give them credit for a fairly decent turnaround time. Get it in by 9(or sometime 10) in the morning, and it will be ready by 5PM(this is for normal items like men’s shirts & suits). In summation, I wish I could give SoBe Cleaners a better rating, but the quality of their work simply doesn’t merit. it.

I brought in a once worn Banana Republic short sleeve shirt. They charged me twice the standard rate because the sleeves had button tabs on them and required special handling. They smashed all the sleeve buttons, tearing the fabric. They repaired the buttons with non matching ones but did not repair the torn fabric. They promised to pay for the ruined shirt but the owner never called. I had brought in a second shirt, long sleeve button down, only a month old. They shore off a collar tab button I did not notice until after I left Miami. This demonstrates both carelessness in their cleaning and a lack of inspection for quality. I would NEVER use them again.

Went here in a pinch. They broke most of the buttons on my shirts. Classic sign of bad drycleaning. They were quick though, so I’m giving them an extra star. But that’s about it. I’m sticking with OXXO just up the street.
