Very hostile man indeed at front desk — poor customer service and mediocre wash and fold. I would only recommend if you are in dire need.

This place is small, machines are good sizes but my clothes didn’t come out clean. I’m not asking for miracles but bleach, hot water & detergent should =Whites. More like yellowbrownish. Only 75%of the dryers were hot(but didn’t fail to take your $), and… it’s small… as hell. Ugh. traveling for work is no way to keep your clothes nice

Extremely hostile man at front desk. Soap is unreasonably overpriced. The machines are cramped up against each other with not enough space to move. The place is dirty. Oh did I say that the man at the front desk was hostile? Yes, it was an unforgettable experience. I made the mistake of walking in but I won’t make that mistake again.

Do not go here when it’s busy. The guy working was friendly enough and could speak English and Spanish. The huge washers that cost $ 6 for a wash fit a ton which was great but if you wash your things on hot… it automatically charges more. A little cramped in there and not too clean. At least they had air conditioning. Well, it wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great. South Beach needs a big new laundromat, desperately… this is the third one I have been to on the beach and they are all eh.

If you’re the kind of person that used to mommy washing your clothes or doing laundry in the comfort of your own home, this is not the laundromat for you. If you’re an independent soul that is familiar with the laundromat experience, this place will suffice. I’ve been to nearly 54 laundromats in 12 states over the course of the last 5 years for touring with a music group. I’ve seen the best & the worst. Angelina’s is definitely one of the better ones. It’s small, simple, and Hispanic-owned/frequented…It’s not dirty by any means. A couple machines have been out of order for months, but that only makes a difference when you go to do laundry on a busy day. The staff is honest, helpful, friendly, and hardworking. I will continue to do laundry here until my lease is up.

Remember your Mom telling you«Do your Laundry — it won’t kill you. Well Mom never went to Angelina’s. First things first. I only went here because there is a lovely cofffee shop next door and thought while I do my laundry I can get a cup of coffee… as soon as I walked in I knew from the layers of filth and the clientele and the general vibe that if I wanted to be sure I left with the clothes I came with — no coffee for me I would have to ‘babysit’ my clothes. I know it is a big city — I know times are tough but laundry should be ‘off limits’ it is a chore — give me a break. I digress. There are no change machines just a hostile girl at the front desk who chucked a roll of quarters to me — the machines looked pretty run down & the floors were filthy — there are 4 places to sit in the whole joint & you probably will need to wash your clothes after taking a seat but I sat down & shut up & thought again — a big city — grow up do your laundry. I got through the wash cycle — yeah — now onto the dryer. quick. Then a FIGHT — a couple came in with what looked like 2 years worth of clothes — bags and bags– a guy was sitting on one of the few chairs & they literally plowed him over with their laundry & pushed him out of his chair. Ummm the guy was pissed — it was like a bad Telemundo soap opera — cursing, and threats of calling cops, etc… as soon as both parties calmed down a bit I ran to my dryer like a thief myself — and shoved my partially dry clothes in my bag and got the heck out of dodge. I write this Unilocal with my clothes hanging across my apartment safely drying.

Since Laundromax closed up shop and became Chow Down Grill and now Miami Beach Brewhouse, Angelina’s has become my go-to laundromat of choice in the neighborhood. The space is a little small and cramped, but they have a good number of washers of different sizes and a wall of dryers. If you come during busier times, you may have trouble getting enough machines, depending on how many separate loads you do. The prices are average, and all the machines take quarters. Luckily, the friendly staff behind the counter has plenty of quarters for purchase. Angelina’s also offers a wash-and-fold service. Drop your clothes off, and they’ll be washed, folded, and neatly packaged for you, and usually ready 24 hours later(sometimes same-day service is available). If you have specifications for your clothes, let the staff know, and they’ll be sure your delicates are appropriately tended to. The prices are reasonable — they charge by the pound. There’s a parking lot in the back, as well as some metered spots out front. They’re open 7 days a week till 10:00 p.m., which makes it very convenient for the working crowds. Unfortunately, they’re subject to the ridiculous flooding that occurs along Alton Road roughly every month(with the cycles of the moon and tide), so beware!
