A perfect beach food shack. A simple selection, sandwiches made fresh while you wait. We had a turkey and a ham– grilled, simple and tasty. A great iced coffee, too. Nice beachy music coming from their jambox. 2 people can eat lunch for $ 20 or less.

The city built this place when they redid the public entrance to the beach over here. I think it’s changed ownership since it first opened, because I remember last year they were charging about $ 3 for a can of coke, and the staff were obnoxious. Now it’s been renamed to Le Onde Beach Shack, the cokes are $ 1.75, and the staff are so very friendly. Much better considering how conveniently located it is — right off the beach! So it’s perfect if you’re enjoying the beach and find you need a quick drink or empanada. You don’t even have to slip on your flip flops — that’s how close it is to the beach!
The coffee is especially good!

The food and drink options at the end of the beach are slim pickings. If this place didn’t exist I’d have to walk forever to get a cool drink on a hot day.
Staff is friendly, the options are limited but you get a friendly smile and some nice music in the background while you wait. Kept it simple with a hot dog, decent size, bun and dog were fresh.
All in all, cool spot to get a decently priced drink and easy food while out at the beach.

These guys are so nice! Good sandwiches and great smoothies. Customize your smoothie! You can also get hot dogs, croissants, muffins, empanadas and quesadillas. Just a tiny place at the end of Pier Park.
