Really good food. The table side quac was amazing. I came with a bachlorette party and they gave us free shots on the house, very willing to please the customer. I had the mestiza enchiladas with black beans, very tasty.

Horrible service… no water, after asking for it 4 different times. Our drink order was forgotten, and the salsa never came. We did get out appetizers. 2 hours wasted… left very disappointed.

First time at This spot, I sat at the bar Alberto was great and definitely made the experience spectacular, I was a huge fan of the chicken tacos as for the fish tacos they seemed to lack taste, they seemed really dull, Alberto CRM’ed us an amazing tres leeches which was great and tasty, I was a fan of the guac although my girlfriend made a point that it needed more lime juice and salt it was still eatable tho, I’ll be back when I’m in the 305

I’ve been to this location and the Brickell location a couple times. I personally don’t like Rosa Mexicano but the tequila drinks are awesome. I don’t like the name I don’t like how commercialized the business is and I don’t like their food. Go for the drinks and happy hour. Go for 5 de mayo but that’s about it. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants that offer a more authentic atmosphere and of course food. I went to this location recently for some drinks. A fellow Unilocal friend invited me to go watch the movie«The Nice Guys» at the Lincoln Road Regal Movie Theater. I really enjoyed the movie Jossette! Again, thanks for the invite. I got there early and was waiting on her so I went to Rosa Mexicano for a drink right after visiting a local nearby restaurant named Baires Grill on Lincoln Road also for drinks. Rosa Mexicano has great happy hour deals. They offer great prices for cocktails and food(bar appetizers). Will definitely visit Rosa Mexicano locations around Miami again.

Overpriced and under staffed, it’s the same story whether it’s the location in Brickell or South Beach. Hua Hua a block over BLOWS this chain away.

An americanized version of mexican food that makes a really good effort to keep some touch of authenticity through some flavorful sauces and sides. We ordered«Tampiqueña»(grilled skirt steak) and it was cooked to perfection and actually close to a real mexican arrachera steak. The pollo pibil was OK, a little dry, it lacked the juiciness of real mexican pibil style(if you are expecting something similar to «cochinita pibil» this is not) The queso fundido with chorizo was really good, considering we were a party of 3 i wish they have brought 6 tortillas with the queso instead of 5… even number of tortillas please! There are cheaper options in south beach if you want to have tacos in a casual ambiance but if you feel like going to a fancier place with nice décor, decent food quality and service, this is the place. (Just fyi, I lived in Mexico for 7 years eating delicious food)

Spicy food, be warned. Queso fundido is on point. The Polo Pibil was juicy and smothered in savory cheese. The Tres Enchildas was good but very spicy and a little too salty, the manager was kind enough to take this away when we mentioned the salt. Over all a good experience, albeit pricey for the cuisine.

Food was Meh. It was definitely nothing special. Portions were small and a bit pricey. We had stuffed peppers, chicken fajitas and guacamole. None of it was good enough for us to return for a second meal, and the cost was a little high. My friend’s small, average tasting Margarita was $ 15. Guacamole was $ 14-$ 16 and my fajita was $ 22. You can find much better for much less elsewhere. Servers were very attentive and friendly.

The place was ok. I tryed there tacos(camarones capeados) and it tasted dry! The best part overall was the chips and guacamole. They have one of the guacamole that I ever had! I would only come back for the guacamole.

My wife and i chose to have a quick appetizer here while waiting for our movie to start and i wish it was time well spent. The food was pretty good. I had the queso fundido and my wife had a simple grill quesadilla. The service left major room for improvement. It took us half our visit to actually find out who our waitress was. The only way i found out her name was Bianca was not from her introducing herself, but from receiving the check Will not be returning here.

The location is nice because it’s on Lincoln road and the food is pretty decent too for the price. We had the shrimp tacos and we liked it. Our party was pretty large and we only got one waitress which is why the service wasn’t that great. If it weren’t for that, the experience would’ve been perfect.

They have a good happy hour food and drink special. Anywhere from $ 5-$ 7 for drinks appetizers $ 6 and bottomless guac for $ 14.50. The service is alright nothing to rave about. Frozen margaritas are good but not on the happy hour menu.

Love this place, the food is just delicious, service is very attentive and nice. If you like tacos this place is the best! The prices is very low for that kind of restaurants in the middle of South beach Miami! I really recommend this restaurant!

Had lunch here a few weeks ago before heading to the beach and food was great, the chicken suizas especially, the greenish sauce was so good that I wanted to lick my plate. The others at my table had tacos which were loaded and delicious too. The price for the guacamole surprised me — 14USD, maybe it was a family size portion, but even at that a bit pricy. They didn’t make the guacamole in front of us table side, not sure it that was because we were sitting outside. Either way, it was tasty and so was the spicy rice I tried and the salsa they served before the meal. Prices may be a bit on the higher end for lunch, but that is obviously because of the location on Lincoln Rd. Service was fast and friendly. The décor inside looks cool and the restroom was very clean. I’m from out of town, but would like to come back some day.

Yummy!!! The cheese dip is very flavorful. The chips are served crisp and hot. The nachos were very good with bits of grilled chicken, beans, melted cheese and salsa. The table side guacamole is an appetizer not to be missed. The enchiladas are well seasoned and a very generous portion served with Mexican rice and beans. The chicken fajitas come on a sizzling plate of melted cheese with caramelized red and green peppers and onions. Very tasty!

Great service Trendy atmosphere The guacamole is 2nd best on south beach.(No offense) but you can make it spicy and I like it spicy Good salsa Chips are a little less salty than I like but no biggie Sangria Roja is my favorite drink but the margs are good and they have a pineapple mojito that is killer Pollo con mole is rich and delectable The carnitas tacos are tender and juicy The patio is good for people watching but bring a fan because it’s sunny and hot out there Good happy hour prices Camilo was super sweet bartender. Very friendly and professional but he kept calling me ma’am Someday He’ll learn different haha Because I will def be back for more of his delicious sangria

This review is strictly for the Festival De Helados that Rosa Mexicano is running for the month of July only. Ordered: –Empanadas De Manzana(apple empanadas) — The empanadas were mainly chocolate filled. On some bites that’s all you tasted, on others you could catch some of those apples. You can’t call them apple empanadas if they barely have apples. For a while i thought they made a mistake and made chocolate filled empanadas bc the hints of apple were had to come by. These came with 2 scoops of vanilla-chocolate mole swirl ice cream. — Abuelitas Banana Split– It comes with 3 scoops of ice cream, I chose the aguacate(avocado), vanilla con mole(vanilla with chocolate mole swirl), and the abuelita(cinnamon-chile spiced chocolate). Chocolate sauce is provided so that you can pour it at your leisure. Also included are«caramelized bananas and strawberries and cinnamon whipped cream». The best part of this banana split was the aguacate ice cream and the caramelized onions. Here’s the deal with the desserts we ordered… they tasted totally unauthentic. It was difficult to be able to taste ANY of the flavors that the descriptions provide from the menu. The apple empanadas were not apple empanadas. They were a very lazy and poorly thought out rendition of apple empanadas. These were mainly chocolate filled with so little apple that my girlfriend and two empanadas thinking they were chocolate, not apple. Up until now I thought the ice cream that accompanied the empanadas was straight vanilla, turns out it was actually vanilla-chocolate mole swirl ice cream… which brings me to my second issue with the desserts… for an «Ice Cream Festival», they did a pretty crappy job at making the ice cream stand out. It was hard to taste anything but chocolate in the«cinnamon-chile spiced chocolate». It tasted like normal chocolate. Same thing with the vanilla with chocolate mole swirl. Almost indistinguishable form regular vanilla. The best thing I ate for dessert was the aguacate ice cream and the caramelized bananas.

Great food, kind delightful staff, and relaxing ambience all lend themselves to an enjoyable experience every time at Rosa Mexicano. Most recently I took my family there after the long walk up and down Lincoln Road. Luis our waiter was out of this world. He was as knowledgeable about the menu as he was personable. I always try to take advantage of their happy hour specials which include yummy pineapple mojitos and bottomless guacamole. The guacamole is prepared tableside with very fresh ingredients. Everything that I have tried there has been absolutely delicious. Everyone I have brought there thoroughly enjoyed their meals also. My favorite dish is the Baja Fish Tacos. They are very fresh lightly fried, and come with refried beans, rice, and some kind of cheesy corn that is quite possibly the most delicious way I’ve ever had corn prepared in my life.
