Post Blue Jean

After all of these years Post is still my favorite store in Miami. While corporate America and shops that carry cheezy club gear have taken over my home town (The Beach), Post is a diamond in the rough. It doesn’t twinkle with bedazzled club clothes –thank g-​d! In fact, it is the opposite! It’s like stepping back in time for me… to when The Beach was untouched by big businesses.
The owner has kept the integrity of high style for the fabulously understated by carrying various high end denim lines and incredible cotton shirts, etc. I just love to shop for myself and friends and even my dad here and will follow Post Blue Jeans anywhere.

When it’s all said and done jeans might be the quintessential clothing item. Whether you’re going dancing, to the movies, or just game night the perfect jeans will take you from day to night and everything in between. Of course we all know that jeans aren’t all 501s and Lees anymore instead jeans have gone designer. Enter Post a designer denim boutique.
With close to a dozen different denim labels, tees, and even Diesel footware. This store is what American Apparel should have been, a symbol of American purpose and quality. It just doesn’t get more American than jeans and t-​shirts.
Next time you’re in the mood for a new t-​shirt or some comfy jeans you know where to look. Although, I must warn you: expect to pay a pretty penny.
Favorite items: NY Cubans t-​sirt. pink Converse inspired, hot pink sneskers, and some of their hard to find elsewhere denim lines
The staff: friendly and approachable.
The vibe: casual. However, wouldn’t it be cool if they were kind of to have an homage to jeans soundtrack and even posters you can purchase of people photographed in denim, from original denim to other cultural changes, after all we’re forever in blue jeans. Shot out to the Diamond man!
Wish: That they had some sort of fun «Perfect Jean for you» section or specialist where you can make an appt to find your new denim soul mate. Especially if you could include price range and if they measured you like a Jean Concierge. Ok quick someone steal my idea and set something up in Miami.

Why hasn’t someone opened up a kids denim boutique called Blue Jean Baby?

Absolutely love this store not just for the great selection of jeans they have, but because the rotate their merchandise frequently.
Not 2 weeks go by without them having new t-​shirts and tank tops: Splendid, James Perse, and that gorgeous silky and funky italian brand they carry.
Great selection of men’s t-​shirts as well ;)
