Currently staying at the hotel across the street. Wanted quick, cheap breakfast. I saw the mixed reviews but figured I would give it a try. I ordered egg, cheese and ham on crossiant, egg cheese and bacon on crossiant and guava and cheese pastry. Everything was excellent. I’m not sure what happened to a previously Unilocalers croissant but ours was perfect. Definitely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. Staff also very friendly. Would recommend.

The girl that helped us was super nice and helpful! We ordered practical everything from their hot food selection… empanadas, yucca croquettes, guava with cheese pastry, ham and cheese croissant and scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious!

A hidden gem near the hotel and on the way to the beach. Stop by grab a coffee(good coffee not like that gas station crap) and come back for breakfast(awesome selection) or lunch(. authentic Cuban /Latino food). Be ready to wait 5 – 10 minutes because all locals and workers stop by in here — and that is a good sign. The food is reasonably priced. Stay away from snacks and other junk food. I will keep coming back here for more!!!

We went there for lunch and purchased a beef and a roast chicken meal. Each meal comes with a couple of sides. This was my first exposure to Cuban food. The chicken was too dry, but the beef one tasted good. Plantain side was excellent. Portion size was good. Staff behind the food counter did not speak English and another customer in line needed to explain things to us.

I’m giving it one star because that’s the only way I can write this. This place is disgusting! I just went in to buy breakfast and they burnt my croissant so much it was black! I also bought chips ahoy, and when I bit into it it tasted weird… guess what, it’s been expired since this January! I also bought a pastelito and that was also stale. This place is just terrible. The service is horrible, it’s like being in a 3rd world country and they overcharge big time! I will NOT be returning to this place or giving my money to them. They have the worst service and obviously like to overcharge and feed customers crap. DONOT buy anything from here, take your business elsewhere. Definitely calling the department of health on them.

My brothers working on a new project right across the street. I was a bit hungry so he recommended the deli for a good sub. You can never go wrong with a boars head sub. So as I’m waiting for my sub. I look around and realized what a great bodega this was. Not only did they have subs in the back, they had another section for completas, for a great price too! Also, loved how organized every item was, and how clean! Definitely a recommended spot.

This is the most awesome little deli. I was staying down the street while I was on vacation on March 29. I had the south beach turkey. So delicious! I dream of this place and cannot wait to come back!

Great place for lunch. Got a turkey sub. Good bread, Boar’s Hear cold cuts. Hubby got hot food, rice and beans and chicken, was delish. Spent $ 11– unheard of in this area!

The food is ok. was waiting on line to get a coffee for like 20 min. Like really? The girls who is making sandw serving the hotel workers first before visitors/tourists for some reason.

Food was very tasty, as other people have said… Problem is that they will charge different prices as they see fits… Not nice when your customers live and work in the area and would have been a steady income for your business… Next time think twice before overcharging… Thanks.

A great convenience store located right on 20th street. They have a good variety of products, a deli and serve up delicious cuban coffee. The south beach turkey sandwich is one of my favorites and they have a press to warm up any sandwich you order. The hot food items usually are quite good as well. The prices aren’t bad for its south beach location, which make it an option when I need something and don’t want to run all the way to publix.

They are a small family owned sandwich and convenience store which is as clean as you can find anywhere. The owners keep this place well stocked. Clean as can be and if you’re hungry for a delicious sub they will slice the cold cuts for you and make you a great sandwich on the spot. Go there and you will end up hitting the like button on this review!

A convenient location in the thick of the beach scene but on a quiet street. Nice folks run it. A full deli… great place to get stuff like olive oil or a can of beans. And they have beer… not a great selection mind you… but they have it. Recommended if you are renting a condo and need a few«items».

I really liked this deli. The people working here are very friendly. They have great food and prices are very fair. Its a great place to have a quick lunch. I also noticed alot of local workers and neighbor hood people walking in for lunch which is always a good sign. I loved their white rice and black beans. If your staying at the Riviera Suites across the street this place is a great option for a snack or quick bite.
