Med Pizza

My favorite pizza in SOBE and lucky for me it’s right around the corner. Jimmy is always so friendly. I’ve been going once a week for awhile now!

Passed by randomly late at night and the pizza looked so good and fresh we decided to give it a try. Yum!!! 2 slices + a drink for $ 9. Really one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had… big slices, thin crust, full of toppings and not greasy at all! Take a look at my pics if u want proof! Open super late so its even better after a night of partying!

Updated: Ok so the review above was for a 5 star rating and I loved the pizza so much, I came back a few days later (during my vacation in Miami) for lunch. The pizza looked so unappealing and definitely not what I remembered from the other night! I was shocked and didn’t even go in. So that’s why I subtracted 1 star (for the inconsistency).
Advice: I’m assuming the cooks are different between night and daytime, so if you do decide to come here, wait until late at night (around 12am and on).

Family owned and operated. I have a condo around the corner and wholebthere are several pizza choices within a block, I like the quality and they seemed to do what ever to make to you happy. Price is reasonable!!!

Yikes… I burnt my mouth on this pizza on Friday night and it still hurts. I wouldn’t be so mad if it was in sacrifice for good pizza but this pizza was terrible.
It was empty when we walked in but we were hungry and desperate, I think we started a trend because we turned around and the place was packed.
I got two slices of cheese and it was the kind of cheese that was like a blanket (not in a good way). So glad I was half asleep/​drunk while eating it.

Not good at all and expensive. Horrible service, mediocre food and expensive. Really only went here because I had been drinking and even then I wish I didn’t. Its south beach, there’s plenty of other food places, go there!

I used to live behind Med Pizza, so needless to say, I’ve had maybe 100 slices of this stuff, and man, is it good. The owner, John, is a sweet guy who knows how to turn dough into pizza magic. The first bite, which is always the best, packs a crunch that’s full of sauce and cheese goodness. What I love about this pizza is the ability to fold the slice in half, like a pizza sandwich. Add a little extra sauce on the side and you’re in pizza bliss.
