Deco Pizza

My boyfriend ordered two slices of pizzas and a bottle water before we find out their one slice of pizza plus one drink for $ 5 deal, he then went to ask for another water and got rejected. This was very rude! I mean, the pizza wasn’t good anyways!

Deco Pizza, strategically situated just outside of the clubs on Washington and open late. I have picked up pizza here at 4:00 AM more times than I would like to admit, but you have to appreciate a place that can offer this type of convenience and food in a time of desperate post-​vodka need. This place is a lifesaver and a hangover helper and for that, 4 stars Deco Pizza .
PIZZA
The pizza is NY style and by the slice and they offer many different types of pizza, veggie, white, Hawaiian, pepperoni, etc…(the usuals, no frills here). If you are getting food at 4:00 AM, you truly appreciate the fact that it is in fact food and it’s ready now, which Deco Pizza can easily offer you. At 4:00 AM, this pizza is 4 stars, at 12:00 PM, its 2 stars.
PIZZA DOGS
They also have hotdogs wrapped in pizza dough (Pizza Dogs) and my boyfriend almost ordered one but I stopped him mid-​order and told him that I have to draw the line somewhere when it comes to late night eats and a pizza dog is just over the line, so we compromised and left with 5 slices of pizza to go.
NY to Miami Beach…
Besides the fact that the pizza is NY pizza, the ambiance is exactly like the NY pizza by the slice joints you pass by on just about every street of Manhattan, standing room only with napkin dispensers spread alongside the standing counter space. This is really a grab and go kind of place. Pro-​tip: If you are planning on going home, to save time, just tell them not to reheat the pizza in the oven and do it yourself when you get home. It makes getting in and out much quicker in this small interior space.
STAFF (The Saints)
The staff is always very nice and they service their customers very quickly. They don’t treat you any differently/​feel like they are judging you due to your current 4:00 AM state and are very good at nonverbal communication, aka just pointing at/​tapping on the glass to various slices.
Pro-​tip 2: The closer you come to closing time, the less options you will have, but hey, at least its food.

Their spinach pizza with ricotta is amazing! It’s fresh and delish.

So — I cannot deny it. having a pizza place right outside of a club probably gets them tonnes of money. one star up for convenience! so after dancing our shoes off for 4 hours, me and my friend are famished! Pizza sounds PERFECT. so we grab 2 slices to take away for our hotel room. another star for quickness. but then that is ALL there is to this place!
Mushroom pizza. I think it had been sitting there for WAY too long to be fresh. too rubbery and too greasy
Veggie Pizza. again, the ingredients seemed anything but fresh, and not yummy wither! The marinara sauce was just plain weird on my pizza. and to think I could make this out even after having braved about 6 nasty shots (damn you Bartender at mansion for that last shot of JD. ugh!)
So yeah, if the inebriated me did not like it, sober me would hate it!

Unless you are really hungry I wouldn’t make this your 1^st choice. Too many other good pizza places close by.

We rode our bikes down Washington and were looking for a deal in pizza. We got two slices of cheese pizza and a soda for $ 5.99. We left there with more money in our pocket and not disappointed at all in the quality and taste of the pizza.

i guess i was wasted the first time i was here. yes. imagine cheese and ketchup on a cracker. that was accurate frankie.
