If I could give 0 stars I would. Second time ordering from them and the last. We work in Miami Beach and tried to call the order in and then pick it up. Literally no one speaks English and Spanish is also an effort. Both times it took over 30 minutes to call the order in because the people answering the phone can’t take the order or communicate to the person placing the order. After spending a half hour on the phone we go to pick it and told it will be another 20 minutes. 2 employees, neither english speaking. We ask to speak with the manger and told he will be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later we get the food and still no manger. Now on to the food. Chicken and beef are ok but the black beans are the worst I’ve even had. They open a can and put it in a container. No seasonings at all including salt, but lots of liquid that came out of the can. I was going to call and speak directly to the manger but if he’s leaving only 2 employees to deal with the lunch crowd then he/she apparently doesn’t really care. They lost our business. 10 lunches both time we tried them. Pollo Tropical here we come!

I used to like this restaurant a lot and ordered on the regular my food from there. But recently whenever I try to call they don’t even answer their phone, NEVER!

Few people but slow service. There was no one in line and it took them 10 minutes to make my meal, which was burnt. Rice, beans and chicken. Also .50 cents more for dark meat is ridiculous. I know this is North Miami, but don’t over charge because people can pay more. I’ve been to much better locations.

La granja offers up great comfort food at an affordable price. The Lomo saltado is very flavorful. Delivery is quick and food is hot and fresh.

So I bought a Groupon and the I ordered a Lomo and a ceviche. They serve u a lot of lomo. So I took the ceviche to go. So when I went to eat it the next day the fish was spoiled. Super dissapointed. Wouldn’t go back.

This place is ok. The food & portion are really good. I feel like the place needs to be a bit cleaner. We ordered a lomito salteado and a bistec encebollado which was awesome and the combo came with a drink with refill.(i have attached pictures). I would definitely come back and eat.

Ordered delivery at work, the whole office ordered the lomo saltado. Weirdest looking lomo saltado I’ve ever seen, and it had no flavor. Tasted better with the sauces but I definitely won’t be ordering lomo from here anymore.

Very Good Quality /Price ! Best place to stop by if you are in a rush, you’ll be most likely served in less than 5 minutes overtime. The quality is always the same, so no surprise, you know exactly what to expect. Staff is very friendly

Good for quick Peruvian food Got the lomo saltado plate It normally comes with rice– I opted for tostones I saw ceviche and criollo chicken sandwich going to another table and they both looked tasty A lot of food for the price. Salsa bar had good options My favorite being freshly sliced jalapeños and onions in vinegar They listed sangria as a drink offering but alas they do not have any alcoholic beverages :( They have free parking in back and offer delivery

STARRATING –5.0 —– Yes you read that right a negative 5STARRATING. There’s a first time for everything, your first kiss, your first trip to Paris, receiving your first college acceptance letter etc. But you also have other first’s that you never want to experience. For instance the bozo who admits to his old buddies at his first 20 year college reunion that he has erectile dysfunction. The first time another dude sees you in check-out line at Walgreens buying maxi-pads for your girlfriend. Or the genius who tells the judge he only had a couple of beers at his first DIU court appearance. But then you have firsts that defy logic like what happened to me tonight… I was actually served poop on a plate. Now don’t get me wrong I didn’t knowingly order poop, but nonetheless I was served poop. From my recollection I ordered Pollo Saltado, a Chicha Morado and rice pudding. But some how there was a mix up, maybe they didn’t understand my English. The signs to leave were apparent before I ordered, but I ignored them. Sign 1: First the dude who was«gathering» the poop and other sides like rice etc was also the waiter. I noticed dude was dispensing the rice with a small scooping cup with his hands. Meaning some part of his outer hand was touching the rice in the pot, I also noticed he had a band-aid on. Sign 2: There were two screaming banshee’s(kids) running up and down the restaurant. Sign 3: They didn’t accept Amex, which typically is my cue to stay away from a merchant or restaurant. Either way my destiny was set in stone and I was about experience something like none other. Dude brings out my «food» and places it before me on the table. The first thing I notice was what was suppose to be the chicken looked like what appeared to be protein lathered in some kind of thick diarrhea looking sauce. The fries were definitely re-fried and I truly hate re-fried fries. I’ll send back any dish with re-fried fries, and I never send back dishes but that will make me do it. The plate had no aroma to it, I mean none, anyone who knows anything about Pollo Saltado knows of the savory aroma that accompanies it. I took my fork and took a tiny piece of what was suppose to be the chicken and put in my mouth, I immediately spat it out and the only thought that came into my mind was it tasted like poop. I didn’t say a word, I didn’t even get pissed at the $ 20 I just wasted on this«food». I just got up picked up my Chichi Morada and rice pudding then walked out. Dude who served me the food was staring at me with terror in his eyes as I walked out. I ended up driving to Aromas del Peru in Little Havanna for dinner. So I had 3 first’s today: 1st: I actually tasted poop for the first time. 2nd: I actually walked out of a restaurant without touching the food, I left everything as it was served. 3rd: I issued my first negative 5 star rating. These firsts definitely fall into the category of first’s that you don’t want to experience.

This is one of my favorite chains. I love everything they have to offer. Their Lomo Saltado is so yummy but this time I felt it was a little salty. The portions are more than generous, I had leftovers for lunch the next day. The ordering process is very simple, they have the menu on the wall with some pics that makes the ordering process easier and after they’ll bring the food to your table. On the side they have some different pickled onions and sauces that will make your meal even more delicious. I would recommend you to try their Peruvian soda, Inka cola, it’s so good, it’s like a champagne soda. All in all it was a good experience. They offer great food, great portions and good service. Give them a try.

The chicken was very tasty and they have a number of delicious sauce to add to your meal! Rice and beans were also good but they serve beans and drinks in styrofoam which is a big no-no in my book! It never decomposes and paper is a much better for the environment. Would have given more stars if it weren’t for lack of responsibility!

This is a good option if you’re craving Peruvian food but don’t want to spend too much, and want something quick and casual. By the way, they do deliver. There is something for everyone here: seafood, chicken, pork or beef. Okay, almost everyone… on second glance, I do not see any vegetarian options on the menu. Sorry, guys. The average price per entrée I’d say is about $ 12(for dinner, as they run great lunch specials that average about $ 5), plus, the location also determines the price, so you may find the average meal price is less than what I quoted, in your neighborhood location. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and a parking lot on the back, as well as street parking. However, do keep in mind that they share the back lot with other restaurants, so you may not always get so lucky as to find a spot. At La Granja, you will find many Peruvian favorites such as Lomo Saltado, Chupe de Mariscos and Ceviche, but obviously, the quality won’t be as high as that found in a more upscale restaurant — this is especially true of any of their seafood dishes. As to my meal, I don’t know if they had an off day or if this is something found at this location, but although my steak was flavorful, it was chewy and hard to cut. I have eaten at the downtown location and did not experience that. Still, La Granja and its assorted menu is a nice option to break up the Pollo Tropical monotony…

I love to have this kind of places in South Beach. A rich in flavor, diverse menu, simple meal, fair price restaurant. It has everything you need in order to have a nice and different lunch menu every day of the week. You will be able to find a ¼ roast chicken with rice and beans, up to a Seafoo Rice; without paying more than $ 14. It’s kind of a place were you order and they take the food to your table; parking it’s really tough, that one of my down sides, so if you can swing by walking or on bike, it will help.

It took a little while for La Granja to finally make it to the beach but were so glad it did! La Granja is a fantastic fast good but tasty place easily accessible and well spotted. Right in Alton Road, this place is beautiful inside and the friendly staff bring it all together well! All the different options are worth a try so come in and enjoy!

I’m a big fan of the Downtown location. This one… let’s just say it’s been South Beached aka customer service and attention to detail aren’t the strong suits. It’s too bad. After a hectic Saturday of running errands, I just wanted to hang out at home with some comfort food. Excited that La Granja was close to me(at the time; now I’m much closer to the DT location so all is well again), I decided on a night of arroz con mariscos, black beans, rice, and maduros via pick-up order. Sounds good, right? Well, it would have been awesome had the order I picked up been what I ordered and paid for. Typically, I check my order at the counter but I didn’t this time. I felt badly as though I was accusing them for not giving me the right food and prejudging them for failing to pay attention to what they were doing. I should have accused and judged. I got home to realize that my beans and maduros were missing. No worries; they deliver. I called and after waiting 15 minutes, I finally got a manager on the phone. He went over my order twice, conceded that I didn’t receive what I paid for and decided that the best way to handle the situation was to give me a store credit upon my return. ‘Why can’t your delivery guy just deliver my food?’ ‘We’re too busy to do that.‘ Ugh. I’ll spare the details of the ensuing conversation. Let it be written, however, I got my food that night. Why? Well, I’d paid for it. I expected to eat it. It was their mistake. And, I would never be returning to this location, so the in-store credit was a no go. This is why we can’t have nice things, South Beach.
