Oh mein Gott!

I love this little piece of heaven tucked away in South Beach. It is unpretentious and fun, and the pink hotel suites are adorable. I love the Mediterranean architecture, the strings of lights, and the fun, laidback attitude of this small area of South Beach. It is fun to walk, and on Cinco de Mayo, they have Mariachi bands. I do wish they had a better selection of restaurants, there really aren’t that many. It definitely brings you back to Europe, and is family-friendly.

I am just back from Espanola Way. This is a cool place with no cars and not the latest hit at high volume. I went to the restaurant boteco copacabana. Food wasn’t so good. Service so so. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Miami Herald’s winner for best block in S. Florida. Very nice and much less crowded than Lincoln Road. Also, I don’t think there are any chain restaurants here on this quaint pedestrian mall. Can be a little touristy near Washington Avenue but the farther back you go, the better it gets. Tapas and Tintos and A La Folie are true gems on this street. A defiinite must see on Sobe.

This is a quaint street built to look like a Spanish village. It’s a pretty nice place for a stroll if you’re a tourist because it’s SUPER touristy! Most of the restaurants here tend to be Spanish or Italian. And there are A LOT of restaurants here that solicit. Blah I hate that, I’d prefer to choose my restaurant myself with a clear mind and preferably the assistance of Unilocal please! Still, it is super cute and there was a pet store with puppies in the window! Makes me sound like a small-towner but those don’t exist in SF because PETA would probably blow a fuse. It’s a cute street and worth taking a peek at, as to whether or not I would actually pick a restaurant to eat here, I doubt it!
