Not my cup of tea but some of my friends love this place and swear by it, so I’ve been a few times with them. I’m not very pick when I comes to music but some styles is just 2 heavy for me, if it’s something u enjoy this is the place according to my friends.

For our one night in Miami we were looking to see some live music. We saw Jazid’s advert on the website for an open mic night, 2 hour open bar, and a cover charge of $ 10?! We were hooked. Upon arriving at the location we were told the cover charge was not $ 10 but $ 20. We reluctantly paid the cover under the assumption that the live music would make up for it. We went in and asked the waitress where the live music was, to which she responded«What?». We stepped out and asked the hostess where the live music was located and they responded«The days have changed for live music and the website hasn’t been updated.» Fine. We kindly asked for our money back, since we were set on listening to live music. They refused to refund us, claiming the sign at the front said NOREFUNDS and that was their policy. Surprised, we asked to speak to a manager. They said he wouldn’t be available for 4 hours, and frankly he wouldn’t care about this issue. Imagine going to a restaurant ordering beef, and getting chicken. So sad. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. They falsely advertise and do not have humane policies for when things go wrong. The ownership is responsible for training their employees on how to handle situations like this, and they have failed. Who knows what it was like in the bar, but the fact that they treat customers this way is deplorable. 0 stars.

Only go to this establishment if you like to be DRUGGED, GROPED, ANDDISRESPECTED. Management nor staff will care about you at all, in fact they will most likely cuss at you and treat you like a joke. The door people are a joke; the blonde woman is a nasty, nasty little girl who has obviously been scorned and does not possess the skills to get a better job. Underage drinking, drugging women, and illegal drug use are all promoted in this facility. On top of this, it is extremely overpriced for what your getting(an extremely ghetto and«ratchet» environment). DONOTGOHERE!!!

I am literally sitting on a broken down, old greyhound like bus after paying 110 $ per ticket(my husband and i each bought one) for transportation to and from King of Diamonds. We have been sitting on this bus not moving and its 45 minutes past the scheduled time to leave. The bus driver hasn’t even communicated to us why we are sitting here. Half of the bus got off and got a taxi or über, but I’m trying not to go because if i do I will insist that I get at least some of my money back. I just covered the bus ride, I haven’t even touched base on the«open bar». Of course there are a million people in line for drinks and there is only one bartender, so things get sloppy and people get impatient. The bar made everyone travel upstairs to get the«open bar» drinks so that to was also inconveniant. So next time you see promoters affiliated with this club be cautious. It’s false advertisement.

This place is the epitome of a classic reggae club. It starts late, the music is great, it reeks of cannabis, and it has a dive bar vibe. The people are cool, mixed crowd of all walks of life, but everyone is there to enjoy the music and the vibe. If you’re looking for fancy or if you’re not familiar or open to a real reggae club then this is not the place for you. This place isn’t about the scene, its about the music, dancing, and vibing with others that are there to enjoy great reggae! There was live music downstairs and dJ’s upstairs. It was awesome! My husband and I had so much fun dancing, singing, and vibing the night away.

Went to Jazid on a Saturday night. I was waiting in line and I thought there was an entrance fee because people were paying, but for some reason me and my friends didn’t have to pay. We went inside and it’s a small divey play with 2 floors. DJ spinning that night played had hip hop upstairs and a mixture of pop/reggae/rap downstairs. There was also a bachelorette party happening at the same time. But for a Saturday night in the summer, it was quiet empty. I was expecting more people. Especially since they had an open bar special for girls that night for an hour. This is the place to be for guys though because it was packed full of girls that night merely because of the special I believe.

They sure do know how to get you to the door & shake you down for money. You can’t see inside & they won’t let you… When they see you not interested they try and pulls V.i.p tickets to get you in, talking bout first free drink on them… But when u finally do fall for their antics & walk in, you realize omg this is what I paid for. It was my birthday & I was vacationing from NewYork and by far this shack they call a club was garbage, I felt over dressed & the only reason I went hear was cause I wasn’t able to get into mansions(due to my spouse no dressed properly) but I will say the music is ok but other then that i would not even recommend this place. I will say that the lady who gave us the tickets at the door gave a good performance for the ladies and I give her the props since she did her thing for a women but other then that I was upset. Not to mention the bullshit free drink that say is on the house was watered down, barely no alcohol then wanna charge you 12 $$ for ¾ of the plastic cup which was robbery… Nahhhhhh I’m good.

If I could write a negative review I would. this place is a ridiculous hoax with no form of customer service whatsoever. they will shake you down for your money at the door and stand by there no refund policy once you realize it is just a shitty piss smelling hooker den. If Unilocal is good for anything it will hopefully prevent anyone from walking in this shit box again

I can only speak for Sunday Nights: Church night aka, reggae night. It’s dark and dingy, and are there a couple sketchy figures? Sure. A couple girls who can’t hold their liquor and make fools of themselves for your people watching benefit? Absolutely. But once you get past that, start enjoying the true roots, dancehall, reggae that spins till 5am, often hosted by Kulcha Shok(reggae community staple), and/or presenting special guests. It’s about the love for reggae music, so if it appeals to you, get over to Jazid. Show up around 12, and you can chill on the couch all night, dance all night, stand in the back corner and pace back and forth… whatever. It’s chill and the vibes are right. I went alone, had a fantastic time, and will never be anywhere else on Sundays whenever in Miami. Bless!

It was a really fun night when I came here and if you’re into grungy karaōke clubs this is cool. We came in here by accident and if its free its me. Karaōke was a good time, i loved the free shots too xp. Only downside was not to many moving or dancing bodies and im pretty sure I was molested for a cigarette.

Spent my birthday evening here after being rejected from Mansion. Played a good variety of Hip Hop/Rap music on the second floor. Downstairs was Reggae & pool tables. We were a bit hesitant at first because a gentleman told us $ 20 for admission. But I actually had a great time. Slight warning though, the dj doesnt listen to your requests, people are smoking(not just cigarettes) & there are some pretty sketchy looking folks in there. Otherwise its a good time!

We had so much fun dancing the night away to reggae. Typical out-of-towners, we showed up around 10:30 and there wasn’t really a crowd. It’s Miami! They don’t get things going until around midnight. So yes, like the other reviews say, the place is dark and dingy and AWESOME. It’s a divey, intimate little joint with plenty of good vibes and totally unpretentious – which is what we loved about it.

So the reason I even ended up here was like a plan b last resort thing. My boyfriend and I was trying to go somewhere else unfortunately he had on chino shorts(he thought Florida, summer time why wouldn’t you wear shorts lol. We’re from NYC didn’t know lol) So we ended up going here, they let us right in. The music was great I’ll give it that. But I could see that this place was geared towards a certain age group. More for the older crowd, like 27 and up. Maybe it was just that night, I don’t know lol. The ambiance and setting was good though. Very up beat and a mixed crowd of ethnicities.

I love this place. Live music, cool dj’s, great food, juke box, pool table, great art, big screens, real people and cheap drinks… what more could you ask for? If NYC and Miami Beach had a baby, it would be named Jazid.

oldest club in south beach, that deserves credit. If there is a live band that day, the place is worth it.

Disgusting place!!! The bar is dirty everything is dirty and sticky., an open bar(have paid $ 20 on a door), and after all the Gin tonic drink was horrible…, no tonik — only water with ice and vodka…, after question — what kind of drink we got, the bartender was rude and angry… Do not spend your money and time! No service no fun at all!

Unless they have a live band, not worth the effort. Don’t even bother. I can’t even write a long enough review because I was already leaving when I started to write this…

A group of us from the hostel decided to explore a few bars/clubs on south beach and we somehow ended up at jazid. Jazid definitely has a unique vibe compared to all the other bars/clubs in the area we checked out. The DJ was playing some great music though it was definitely more of the ‘American’ type of rap/hip hop and so the Europeans in our group weren’t familiar with it. I could tell there was definitely a group of locals that frequented the spot but since it is south beach you had people from all over the world walking in. The drinks were decently priced, the cover was free for us, but the look of culture shock I saw on a few of the foreigners faces as they witnessed some of Americas finest is what made this experience absolutely priceless!

Finally a club in the South Beach area that isn’t full of pretentious douche-bags with God complexes about letting people in. This club is easy, you walk up, you give them their coverage charge and they let you in. Very simple and easy, why more places can’t do I will never know. Place was nice, two levels with different DJs on both floors. Music was standard hip hop with some reggae mixed in. While dance area isn’t huge, it is a enough space to dance and move about without feeling like you’re all over top of the other people. Bartenders were high quality, they made the drinks well and were friendly enough. I just enjoy the place because it is easy going and gives you a chance to enjoy yourself without wearing a three piece suit, or kissing some promoter or bouncer’s ass.
