Fania– everybody go to do nails and hair to this sweet and amazing women. she did my hair and my nails perfect. I was super happy. i enjoyed my time.

flight was delayed and after getting off a cruise, my hair needed some help. i’m used to going to Dominican salons to do my hair and didnt know where to turn in Miami, so after searching on Unilocal,I found Diego Casas and it was a quick cab ride away. I called and i was able to get an appointment immediately. Fania took care of me when I walked in and even made me a fabulous cappuccino! we talked about what I wanted and I explained I wanted to wash my hair, set it in rollers and then blowdry it straight. When she started doing the rollers I could tell it was not like the way I’m used to the salons back home doing it but overall I let her do her thing. My hair looked great but just not what I am used to getting back home. My roots were not perfectly straight (I have curly hair but am used to a good blow dry to get it straight). a few minutes after I left my hair was a bit poofy from not being blow dried correctly but overall the service was great, my hair was clean and soft and I could deal with a little more wave than I originally wanted. I would go back.

In Miami for work and my hair was atrocious. Picked this place solely based on Unilocal reviews and location (staying at Mondrian). I needed roots done and a cut on short notice and on tight time schedule. Valeria fit me in and fixed me up. She did excellent color including roots and low lights. The cut was good. I was very tentative being my first time to having anything dramatic done. She could have been more aggressive with me but really picked up on the fact that I was hesitant. My biggest pet peeve with salons is when you go to pay your bill and they say, «that will be $ 200,» and you have no clue what you are paying for. She had everything broken down by cost (color, low lights, cut, blow dry) which I appreciated. Will definitely head back when I am back in town.

We were staying at the Mondrian and wanted a convenient hair salon for some special events. Fania was my stylist and she was extraordinary. I highly recommend her. She can do anything you want. Braids, smooth blow outs, up do’s anything. I was so impressed. Try her, you will be impressed as well.

Wanted to share my visit to Diego Salon in Miami Beach. Walked in without an appointment, they were very proffesional and inviting.
Had a pedicure and manicure, very professional atmosphere, felt very comfortable and welcomed.
Got one of my best mani pedi with LOTS of massage and cream. A place I would definitely come back to.

The reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that the lady who assisted me was very kind and I clearly could see that she was trying to do the best to please me. This could be a 4 star if they would’ve been located somewhere on Calle8. I needed a quick blow-​dry nothing special. I have never been in this place and went because of the location convenience. When I arrived it was empty but only one lady sitting at the manicure table. After couple of minutes of me standing I decided to just walk in and look for somebody, so she raised her head and asked me if I needed some help. In the process of washing my hair the water sprinkled all around my face and clothing. She was apologizing. In the meanwhile another lady came from the backroom and told her that her food was ready and waiting… This made me feel uncomfortable as it is not nice to hold somebody when their food is waiting. Anyway we went to the chair. The lady kindly asked me if I want my hair flat or not and I asked for lots of volume and curls. Well to make the story short my hair was flat and straight as after a keratin or flat iron. Besides that, she burned me on my forehead. When that happened I asked for some ice but she only offered me some vaseline and told me that it will get better. Well it was a week already and I have this horrible brown spot in my forehead I honestly hope it doesn’t leave me with a permanent spot.
I asked who was the owner as his name is on the name of the salon and was told he is traveling. After that she had hard time opening the register to charge me (you would think she will offer a discount because of the burning but no)
I don’t blame the lady as she wasn’t lazy or careless she was inexperienced and very untrained and this is the owners fault. Even that this salon is located in my building and it is very convenient for me, I rather spend 15 min going to any other salon available in every corner in South Beach than to return to this place.

It’s been a while since I’ve mustered up the courage to get my hair done. Diego, thank you for taking the time to not only give me your advise, but to also listen to what I had to say. I absolutely love my hair and I couldn’t be happier! I can finally now say that I’ve found «my» place!

LOVE this Salon!!! I finally found somewhere that knows what they are doing and is consistant. Coming from NYC that wasn’t difficult, Miami Beach was much trickier. After trying a few high end salons one would think knew how to do color. .I was sadly very disappointed. I then continued to go back to NYC every month for my hair! Also nails was tough to find quality as well. After having my hair ruined about 3 times. I decided I’d give up on Miami. Finally I found Diego Casas Salon! L o ve it because everyone here is amazing at what they do. Cuts, color, extentions, nails, blowouts, straightening. .now I know where all the good people work on the beach! Thank you Diego Casas Salon! I’m dedicated and loyal. And being an Esthetician, I will let all my clients know where I go because I get lots of compliments :)

Best place on the beach! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, always a cold beverage offered or a nice coffee, good music and AMAZING WORK! I’ve never left unhappy! My hair ends up looking better than I ever thought it could again and again! And best of all they are very fair priced and you will leave with a smile on your face! I am a resident here at The Mirador 1000 and have been seeing Diego for my hair for about a year now. My mother has owned a full-​service beauty salon for 26 years, so I truly grew up in one. I know quality and professionalism. This is that place. Come here and you won’t be displeased!

Living in the Mirador, I wanted to check out Diego Casas Salon that had opened a few months ago and finally had an opportunity to do so. I was very pleased with the highlights Valeria did. I was also pleased that when I shared that I needed to be finished by a certain time with my appointment, another stylist Luis jumped in to help with my blow out and make up application. I truly appreciated this professionalism and attention to my needs.

This is a hidden gem. Located in the Mirador Condo Building. Diego, Fania and the entire crew know what they are doing.
I needed a new place after my last place messed up my hair and over charged.
Nails, feet, amazing color, fabulous cut! And totally affordable.

I don’t often visit SoBe since I live in Gainesville, but I always do my hair when I’m down here. I needed a new hairstylist after a bit of a debacle with my old one and Unilocal pointed me to Diego Casas salon. I made a quick apt, got a bit lost, but arrived to one of the prettiest salons I have had the pleasure of visiting. There was no loud, overbearing music and the stylists were the epitome of professionality.
Once it came to the actual cut, I wanted something that was a bit complex so I was understandably nervous. Luis went above and beyond– Extreme attention to detail and many many questions about my hair type to make sure everything was pretty. Then he and Diego asked me the only question I had never heard at a salon before «are you happy?».
This a great salon and I highly recommend it. It’s not pricy, and you come out looking fabulous. I only wish I had also done my nails.

I’ve been without a hair stylist for more than a year and since I met Diego I’ve only trusted him and his crew to give me the most amazing hair I’ve ever had in my life. My mom is the most healthy blonde in terms of hair that I’ve ever seen. His prices are generous and he is EXPERIENCE and CARE 100%.
