CB2

I recently had difficulty with scheduling the delivery of a CB2 desk which had been back ordered for months due to shipping delays overseas. I came into the Miami Beach CB2 store and shared my frustration with Beth, a sales manager. Beth was truly amazing. She spent a great deal of time making numerous calls on my behalf to get the problem resolved & expedite delivery. Beth continually kept me informed during the process. I am so impressed with the customer service she provided.

First of all, I love the store. I love the design of it’s items. The sales reps are awesome!!!
This review is based on my experience only, on the purchase of a couch.
After looking and trying all the couches in the store, me and my boyfriend decided on one. It was sold standard in a black and white material that didn’t go well with our décor, so we chose a color from the swatches provided. We were told it would take between 8 to 10 weeks, but could extend to 12. We were not in a hurry. We paid. We waited patiently. After the 10^th week and no news of the couch, I called the number on the website, but was told I had to speak directly to the store where I purchased. I was surprised the rep was not able to tell me a specific status on the couch. Only that it would be delivered early December. I called on early December and was told the same thing, to which I said «but it’s early December, when is the couch going to be delivered?», but the rep said she did not have any more information available.
The couch arrived but it’s not the same quality or feel as the one from the store. The one in the store was very comfortable. However, when we sit down on ours, it feels like the cushions are filled with the same stuff as a bean bag, and after you are done sitting on it, the cushions do not recover their shape. The size of the pillows seem to be larger and don’t fit properly against the frame. I could not believe it took more than 12 weeks to make a couch so cheap.

Some of the staff members are a little snobbish but everything else is perfect. Wonderful items.

Had 2 great shopping experiences here in the last month thanks to Tracy in the upstairs furniture department! She was extremely helpful, pleasant and patient with our purchases.
The items in this store are very unique and have great decorating ideas.

Went to buy some glassware and saw there was a discount sign outside. Picked my things, went to the cash register where Amy P «helped» me. She did not make eye contact or say hello… fair enough. Then she rings up everything without discount to which I point out and she mentions it to another colleague and he confirms it should be applied. She doesn’t know how to refund/​adjust my sale so someone else helps her. At no point did she make eye contact, say «I apologize», nothing. They fix my bill and she hands it and says «here you go».
I understand people have bad days but this is just terrible customer service and none of the other 2 employees seemed to notice or care, which is poor management.

If anyone is looking for the best furniture and décor, this is the right place. Yes it is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Just today I got some amazing very original espresso cups from there, and I could be happier with my purchase –what a stylish cups made in Poland, not in China!
Anyone who haven’t been there and wonders-​Go there even is the furniture are a lil expensive –there are much other things for décor there that are affordable.

I must say I was truly surprised and delighted with the service I received over the phone from the associate named Mary. I called to find out if they had in stock a replacement for a glass globe that I broke on my firefly pendant light. Not only did she give amazing client service over the phone but she did the calling to their parts dept for me. She then went above and beyond by calling me back with advising me of the order #‘s and when I should expect the items. She was very friendly and gave me an experience that will keep me shopping at my local CB2 in Miami Beach! Thank you Mary your service was impeccable! Keep up the great work!!!

Love this store!!! Design, modern, affordable, unique furnitures and accessories! I wanted to buy everything… Will go back with my credit card soon!

I love this store and every time I walk in I feel like I want to buy everything. I love the clean and minimalist ambiance throughout the store. They have amazing ideas to decorate main living areas in your house and the best part is that they switch things around quite often (pillows and such)… Most of the big pieces remain in the same location!
Prices are very affordable when compared with crate and barrel or west elm!

Update to my last review. Luis who is actually the store manager, is AMAZING, I had a bad experience with a part time weekend manager and wrote about my experience, which was not good. I am happy to say that Luis went above & beyond to rectify the situation and I am extremely grateful to him for reaching out and helping me. I am & will remain a loyal customer to CB2. Thank you to Luis!

My first time here at CB2 and I’m loving it! It’s definitely Crate & Barrel meets IKEA with better quality. Things are very modern if you are into this style. The manager Richard was very nice and friendly. He explains the deal that is going in the online store. I’ll definitely go back to purchase some household items!

So basically, and I’m pretty sure this is true and not just me being flowery; Crate and Barrel saw Ikea and thought they could do it better but charge just a little teeny bit more.
Some of the pieces are actually really solid, well made and priced accordingly. I’ve found the staff to be nice, the furniture I bought was easy enough to assemble — the only mission was getting it in and out of my car.

When I moved to Miami I would find CB2 catalogues in the mail on a semi-​regular basis. Apparently, hidden piles of sequins aren’t the only thing that my drag queen predecessor (true story, btw) left behind… but I appreciate his CB2 fetish much more.
I finally made it to their store on South Beach a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. I was afraid that CB2 would either be (a) prohibitively expensive, or (b) prohibitively boring. Neither fear came to fruition. What a great store… seriously.
Products run the gamut in price and form – it’s like a miniature Ikea. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom… linens, rugs, art… it’s a one-​stop shop for those in need of some verve.
For those on a budget, you’re potential customers too. They had a great selection of displays for sale, heavily discounted. Some regularly priced items weren’t too bad either.

Wow. I love this store. .. minimalist, clean, inexpensive, and ohhhh soooo coooooool! Went in only to check it out, not intending to purchase since we’d have to figure out how to get it all home.
That said, we did purchase a few small gifts for friends. .. and finally ended up also purchasing 6 place settings of a great set of dishes (shipping costs were also reasonable, so went that route). The dishes are great, solid white, square, with the sides a bit off-​kilter. .. exactly what I had been seeking for a couple of years.
And, the staff — wow. So, friendly, helpful and attentive. If I hated everything in this store, I’d visit again just because of the staff —. .. they made it all so easy and fun. I REALLY appreciate that level of service from genuinely nice people.
Took a catalog home. .. dangerous. :-)

Modern. Minimalist. Magical.
I love simplicity! I love bright colors! I love Helvetica! So naturally, I can’t not love this place.
I don’t want to spend a lot on the bigger pieces because I’m in a temporary apartment so I mostly buy my big pieces from IKEA and supplement the décor with CB2 rugs, pillows, mirrors, art, etc. They mesh quite well.
I love how everything is arranged and displayed here — great inspiration for decorating! The associates have always been friendly and helpful during my many trips here. Their website is awesome too — clean, organized and as well designed as the store.
They also have lots of reasonably priced gifts for any occasion. I ordered almost all of my friends’ christmas presents from there last year!

First time in this store and did not really know what to expect. From the moment I walked in I knew I really liked it. Very clean, well organized with being very easy to navigate throughout the store. So many great items for the home from vases, stemware, dishes, duvet sets, cutlery, holiday decorations, etc…
What impressed me the most was the prices. Awesome pricing that I thought was very reasonable. I must say I am not nor have I ever been an Ikea fan. I guess I can see a little of why it reminds people of Ikea. This location has two levels. Take your time and look around you never know what you might find.
The staff members do not hound you, they pretty much leave you alone but are available if you have any questions. When I checked out with a few items the cashier was very friendly. The colors throughout the store are fun with all white walls, green and orange accessories, amongst a few other colors.
So yes for me it was a very cool store to shop in. The fact that you can pick up some nice Champagne flutes, or cool glass vases at very reasonable prices made me a fan!

Hello Over, Meet Hype
Maybe I missed something, but this store while cute enough, seemed like a rolled back, modern, style-​in-​a-​box kind of place.
It all seemed rather sterile and safe as in a «what is supposed to be» kind of way.
The only reason it earned 3 stars is that I found a desk that was so minimal it made American Outfitters look elaborate. And the sales reps were all friendly in that old school 90s GAP sort of way.

It was hard for me to decide on the number of stars, so hard. I am somewhere in between A-​OK and Yay! I’m a fan.
Starting with great items they do have some pretty darn awesome things, lamps, chairs. like others have said Ikea-​like. I agree also that prices and selection aren’t like our great Ikea, however you can actually shop here without getting lost, without having to try to get through a sea of confused customers, so if you do need a little something for your home and are on Lincoln Rd stop by.
So many of the items are very trendy and fun, you can find that little funky item to spruce up your home.

I’ve been clutching my CB2 catalog closely these past 6 months, anxiously awaiting for the new store to open on South Beach.
I love Crate&Barrel but I am a serial apartment dweller, lover of all things trendy, cute and affordable. CB2 did not disappoint in this aspect. Things like large grass-​like rugs, funky metal coffee tables, and unusually square dinner plates were rampant and had me running around wanting everything in sight.
I have to agree with Jordan N’s review in many ways, though. A lot of items come in orange and green options, and frankly, I really wish I liked orange and/​or green. But I don’t. So I found myself stuck when I found something I liked, but not in those colors.
Once I make my first big purchase here, my hope is that the quality is better than Ikea. My current Ikea furniture is falling apart after three years, so once it comes time to replace them with CB2 stuff, I’ll be ecstatic if it lasts me a while longer than that.
Even if it is orange.

Meh. I’ve experienced better. Ikea that is.
It’s still not Ikea. Reasons why?
— limited selection
— everything’s white, orange (lots of it), and one other color
— the metal stuff are, quite frankly, kinda clanky. (cheap)
I can’t imagine anyone wanting any of the orange stuff here except the Florida orange growers. I’ll stick with Ikea. Or even the regular Crate & Barrel which is tons better than this one — and CB2 may be a twist of it, but they twisted it too much like a towel rag.
The looks just doesn’t do enough for me.

Can I just say how happy I am that CB2 is finally in Miami?!
CB2 is a modern affordable twist on Crate & Barrel. I always had to shop online and prayed for the day a store in Miami opened. Alas, my prayers were answered!
Last night I was invited to the grand opening and it was awesome! the two story building is filled with great contemporary décor. What I love about this store is that it focuses on minimalistic furniture with big pops of colors. As soon as you walk in, the sense of orange and green is overwhelming, in a good way of course.
This store has everything from furniture, to the smallest accessories. My favorites would definitely have to be their selection of bar goodies and lamps. Very modern and affordable compared to a lot of other places on the beach. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of metered parking next to the store.
So go ahead and check this place out, I guarantee you’ll leave with at least 3 things!
