CA Modern Home

I initially purchased a Gus Davenport sofa from CA Modern through my interior decorator for delivery in Scottsdale, AZ. My credit card was processed on June 11^th. I did not receive any further updates regarding a delivery, so I e-​mailed the company on June 15^th to ask about delivery. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response. On June 18^th, I did call Jesse Brody with the company directly who did say I should have received an e-​mail regarding delivery, but I suppose it may have been lost in cyberspace for whatever reason. I am unclear what department he was in, but he was friendly enough and did forward me the e-​mail. On June 25^th, I did receive a call from the delivery service that the couch would be arriving June 26^th.
On June 26^th, the delivery man did arrive with the couch. I asked him why he was alone to deliver a couch and he told me he was just planning on dropping it off outside at the front of the building, not the penthouse floor of the apartment complex. He then asked for an additional $ 60 for delivery. I obviously called back Jesse to ask him how in the world this makes any sense, and he curtly responded that there was nothing he could do. I used CA Modern because of the lower price I received through the interior decorator and the «free delivery.» In his defense, the interior decorator has been subpar, but regardless, I’ve seen better customer service at Circle K.
The couch has since been sent back, and I am awaiting a full refund.
I will say that this is the only experience I have ever had with this company, and there will clearly never be another, but I have not ever been to the showroom and so I can not comment on this portion of the company. Also, it is possible that clients who work directly with the company do receive better service than I did. But I can say without a doubt, if ordering via phone or online, I would strongly recommend a different company.

Amazing edit of high end pieces sourced by a women owned boutique. I was in awe of what they put together. I wanted everything.
So I addressed the elegant sourcing done here but I also wanted to touch upon how friendly they all were. They were not pushy and I was not buying but they were very kind.
I would love to see this company put their store online… its that awesome!!!

I was so impressed with the whole purchase process. They always answered the phone, returned calls, kept us in the loop on the stage of the order, etc.
If we are in the market for other furniture that is carried by this store we will definitely be purchasing from them again.
I was a bit hesitant about ordering such a high-​ticket furniture item on-​line, but now that I’ve worked with Circle Art at Home I would order again from them without a second thought!

Wow… Just came to the store because I was looking for a Herman Miller Setu chair. I was about to buy one online but I decided to go to the store and was so happy I did. I was so impressed with the selection they had.
But even better then the selection was the help I received. For a high end store in South Beach I was so pleased with the owner Jesse his product knowledge. Overall it was a GREAT experience.

This place is great. They have all the high end brands without the high end attitude! The salesgirl is really nice and not pushy and I hung out and chilled without being pestered. I bought a few things and the delivery and follow up was fine. I feel that their prices were just right for the high end names they carry and even for the items that were from indie designers. Overall really nice experience for a store with such cool things. Surprising for Miami Beach… LOL!

Finding and purchasing a dream home is like finding the perfect lover therefore, attention must be paid to décor. This store has it all from Philippe Starck’s Louis Ghost armchair, to the beautiful and timeless Emeco aluminum chairs designed to last 150 years, at least that’s the designer’s sales pitch.
My favorite piece was a cream reclining Italian leather sofa that screams comfort and elegance and could be perfectly paired with Herman Miller’s Eames lounge chair and ottoman in white Italian leather.
The service here is excellent and owner is very knowledgeable on all the brands. I am yet to find the perfect home, but once I do, I’ll be revisiting.
