Really felt like a falafel sandwich for lunch so Unilocaled it and should have trusted it more. First of all to get a falafel you had to order a veggie wrap($ 7.50) and a separate order of falafel($ 3.50) for a 11.50 total which seemed high but was really craving it. The result? So bad I returned it for a refund. The falafel balls were all mush and had no flavor, the garlic sauce tasted like pure mayo. At least the guy was nice about the refund. Ended up walking to Pita Spice further up(by 11th) and had very decent $ 5 sandwich. falafel.

I ordered the combination kebap sandwich — with chicken and«beef»(it says veal on the menu???). Anyways, the Turkish bread was decent… No where near as good as classic fresh pita… Next time I should go down the street and grab me of the pita served at Pita Loca. The«beef» had little to no flavor, and it was very dry. Looked like it came from a pre made cone from a factory… The chicken however was fresh and flavorful, and was stacked on the spit not in a pre made cone. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, there is barely any meat on the $ 8 sandwich. They need to stop cutting costs and being cheap with the portions if they plan on being successful. For the same $ 8, the sandwich next door at Primo Hoagies is four times the size. No exaggeration.

Its like they don’t even know what falafel is… worst ‘falafel’ I’ve ever had. It was a mushball that wasnt even remotely falafel flavored! I ended up picking it out and just eating a greasy lettuce/tomato sandwich. I wish i could give this negative stars. Primo hoagies next door is amazing, stick with that or go to Maoz if you want falafel…

Terrible food. Meat was dry and there was barely any of it on an $ 8 sandwich. Bread was dry as well. Also forgot to give me half my order I had to walk back after getting home with my to go order. They didn’t even bother asking me how my food was and it was their second day open. The falafel was a joke. I’m not sure it even was falafel. Tasted more like an undercooked mashed potato ball. Yet another terrible south beach restaurant that will no doubt fail. I’d give it 0 stars if i could. Go next door to the sandwich place. They’re amazing.

Great new place in Miami Beach. Amazing meat! Unbelievable to think every plate is less than 350 calories! Great prices, they also deliver.
