Great place for a quick bite. Outdoor seating in a great location. Food is typical south beach tapas, nothing great but fairly safe. Have been a few times, service is decent. Menu is pretty broad and drinks are not too expensive. Will go back.

I made an opentable reservation, and arrived on time, but the hostess didn’t sit us because apparently all the tables were reserved by other people. Not honoring a reservation deserves zero stars.

I was visiting South Beach for the week and am not an avid Unilocaler. A friend found this unique spot and I had to download the app to give Barceloneta praise! The atmosphere, service, and food were spectacular. While it may same extremely basic you MUST try the pan con tomate! It is to die for! The arroces are also delicious. Great experience and will definitely revisit every time I am in Miami.

Nice restaurant. Great food and great service, but outdoor dinning is not very pleasant with the noisy local buses gunning their engines at the bus stop at the other side of the street.

We came here through a recommendation and cannot say this is a favorite. The food was average, expensive for the size of the tapas, nothing out of the ordinary. Service was great. It is in a nice location if you want to go for a walk on a Sunday afternoon, will be returning to this area to try other restaurants

There is something about this restaurant that I absolutely love… Not sure if it is the food or the Decour or the service or maybe all of the above. I have spent countless birthdays here and have always had a great experience. The fair is typical Spanish food. Wine, tapas and what not. I haven’t ordered anything that I haven’t liked so go nuts and order as much as you’d like. It is all amazing! It is a great spot to come in a group — I have brought as many as 14 people to dinner at a time. I also forgot to mention that they have a great wine selection. If wine is not your thing, they also have great cocktails and a full bar so you can order whatever you’d like. The only tough thing about this place is finding parking. It is located on a street with multiple restaurants so this can get tricky. I do believe there is valet but for some reason I have never checked it out. Über here if you can, it always makes things easy.

If you want to spend the night in Spain. Get in your car and drive to 140020th street Miami Beach, FL. The food will transport you straight to Barcelona. I opted to do the Chefs tasting menu $ 49.99 per person with a minimum of 2. With the tasting menu you can select 6 tapas(which I loved because I can’t choose just 1)! Yes, I’m indecisive by nature. I started off with the Maracuya Martini which was a passion fruit cocktail with just the right amount of spice. For Tapas my highlights were the Pan con Tomate which tasted similar to a bruschetta but not as heavy. Just the right amount of tomato and garlic ratio. The Chorizo a la Sidra was sweet and smokey. The black rice was like a black paella, it’s an acquired taste. I am thankful my taste buds loved it. The Rossejat was also a rice dish. This one is loaded with clams, it’s a 5 star seafood dish. The escargot with the puff pastry was probably my second favorite tapas dish the sausage is the real winner here and really elevates this dish. The show stopper was Pulpo a la Feira. I can’t even begin to explain the explosion of flavors this dish has. Between the chorizo, potato foam and piquillo emulsion something magical happens in your mouth. For dessert I had the layered mason jar and it was the perfect ending. Light and smooth. Sweet yet salty. Just the way I like it.

Outdoor, breezy, nice and casual ambience. Tapas are delish! I used to live on Sobe and this was my ‘go to’ restaurant. The drinks are REAL drinks. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good wine list that pairs wonderfully with their menu. Nothing bad to say :) Love it!

We came here for brunch today to celebrate my sisters birthday. It was a party of 12, seated in an accommodating table that gave us all our personal space while also incorporating the family feel. I opted for the $ 35 per person brunch special that allows you to select six items with you and someone else. From the menu, I decided on: –eggs Benedict: good, but not great. Has a slice of salmon at the bottom that gives it a very fishy taste. If you are not a seafood person, this is not the choice for you –steak and eggs: didn’t try it but it looked good. –chorizo: Good! Bathed in a thick sauce that gives adds a bit of spiciness to it. –croquetas: great! Comes in 4 balls with a sauce on the side that is excellent. –French toast Spanish style: Good! Just the right amount of crunchy and it incorporated some sweetness into the meal. –we also had a rice with seafood, which I can’t remember the name of. I did not try it because it didn’t look appetizing, in my opinion. The cappuccinos are delicious! Wish they were a bit larger though. For someone who is not a fan of Spanish food, I’m glad I gave this place a try. Our waiter was sweet and efficient, our glasses were constantly full, and the price for the brunch special was more than reasonable for the amount of food we got.

This place was crazier than Miley Cyrus at a PJ party. The food here tasted very high quality to me and the restaurant is extremely sunshine friendly. Best Crema Catalana that I have ever had and the gazpacho was smooth, tasty and full of flavour. The ice tea needs improvement and charging $ 3 for each refill is a bit cheesy for a restaurant that seems very classy. Things you need to know: you can dine inside or out, the service was very good and the recommendations were spot on. You are not going to like parking. Most of the streets in the area are being renovated. It’s a Spanish restaurant with flair and with a twist. I came out smiling… you should too.

From the large array of tasty(and NOT so tasty) options South Beach has to offer, I decided to venture to Sunset Harbor in hopes of a bougie lunch. It was my first time at Barceloneta and although it was fairly empty on an early Friday afternoon, I found that very appealing given the extra personal attention. The food was immediately imported straight from Barcelona upon my order. For my light lunch I had the gazpacho, a mozzarella and ham sandwich, the beet salad and just a few langoustines… I’m watching my calories ;) Everything was made to perfection, the presentation alone almost immediately satisfied my hunger. The gazpacho complemented by the Spanish«grilled cheese» was the perfect upscale rendition of everyone’s childhood favorite, I definitely recommend ordering those side by side. The beet salad was the perfect balance to my gorgeous plate of langoustines, which could easily compete for the Miss Universe of Crustaceans 2015. All in all, the only reason I did not go for the«Wooohooo! As good as it gets!» 5 star review was due to the ambiance of the outdoor patio area. Although I understand the construction is a bit of a nuisance, they could still do a little more work on making the outdoors feel like a bit of Barcelona as opposed to a bit of Detroit. With an international delivery service that’s using the«Beam me up, Scotty» plan, directly from Spain, I highly recommend dining at Barceloneta from the Pubbelly crew.

This is one of my favorite Spanish restaurants in Miami. But I don’t come here for Spanish food. Instead, I come for the twist on Spanish food. Don’t get me wrong — I LOVE traditional Spanish food, but there’s so many excellent Spanish places in Miami. A twist to the cuisine doesn’t hurt — and this place does it really well. I had these dishes, and they were all : — remolacha — calamares — arroz negro — tortilla patata — piquillo The only thing that I thought needed a bit of an improvement was the pulpo a feira(octopus), and I LOVE octopus. The only thing I don’t like about Pubbelly chain of restaurants is that they can be a bit too pricey for the portions that are served. But I can’t deny the fact that the quality of the food have always been excellent. Luckily, people can find deals online for this place, in case if they need to go on a budget at times. And since it’s a part of the Pubbelly chain, try to come during the off hours, to beat the crowds.

Went here for happy hour one day because the prices on average are steeper than one would think for tapas but then again inflation is probably a cause. As for happy hour the prices are great for food. I orders the patatas bravas and chorizo. I was stuffed stuffed! Chorizo stated it had apple in it so I was skeptical because I am not a fan for sweet and savory together but it was delicious and not sweet at all! The patatas were delicious in a great sauce. It would be nice to go with a group and try a whole lot of tapas because from the two I experienced I know I would go back for more! Drinks for happy hour are your typical Miami prices 7 – 9 bucks. Place was not packed at all for happy hour and there is no tvs in the place in case you wanted to watch any sports. Thing that threw me off or I thought was a little weird is that automatic service charge of 18% but on the receipt also states gratuity not included? Then what is that service charge for? There is no white linen table service or extraordinary service being done and this place def has a laid back feel with wood tables and high tops. I thought it was a way to scam people in providing double tip but I’m not sure I didn’t ask.

Tasty indeed. I liked everything about this place. Wondered however why d music was not adequate for a Barcelona restaurant like it is done in Spain. Anyway my fish was delicious and the barmaid was kinds cool. Keep it up.

This review is based on the way Barceloneta handled Miami Spice. My friend and I had lunch here on September 21st, 2015. We stopped by that afternoon to an empty restaurant to take advantage of the Miami Spice promotion. However, we were wrongly informed by the staff that it was $ 23 per person to share 3(TINY; see pictures) courses between the two of us. We paid $ 46 for a shared 3 course meal. Clearly, this is not correct. We just dined at another participating restaurant, and the waiter confirmed that we were not given the correct promotion. The waiter stated that we should have received 3 courses PERPERSON. We feel upset and scammed out of $ 23 dollars. The Miami Spice promotion entitles each person a 3 course meal. Not 3 courses shared between 2 people. We are just upset that we were lied to about $ 23. Thanks Barceloneta. Contacted their staff and have not heard anything as of yet.

We went this weekend for the first time ever and let me tell you we were very disappointed. First off, trying to place an order was a task in itself. Second, out of the party of 9 of us, two of us order old fashions. What we got was not an old fashion it was like a Long Island ice tea with a splash of whiskey and tons of ice. We returned them of course. I asked for a dirty vodka martini to replace that god awful drink. I waited 15 minutes to get my martini and when it finally arrived I was surprised with the disgusting taste of what seemed like a blend of gin and vodka(basically it tasted like salty pine cone). Honestly I don’t think they rinsed the shaker out well enough. At that point I got up myself and went straight to the bar and watched them make my drink. The bartender was nice and accommodating . Overall, the food was good. The escargot and octopus were the best out of all the dishes. Still it wasn’t anything out of this world. After we were brought our bill we noticed we were charged $ 10 for the baguettes that they brought to the table. We never asked for bread! Why would you charge someone for something that was not ordered? Usually at a restaurant if they bring out bread without one asking for it, people will assume it is complimentary. We spoke to the manager and he had it removed. Also I highly suggested that if you want to order a double of anything that you just don’t. My cousin ordered 3 double Jameson’s and just his drinks alone came out $ 72! Personally I will not go back.
