Robert Arkin built a wall unit/​bookshelf for me which I absolutely love. He delivered the unit faster than expected and the craftsmanship was great. His installers were polite and tidy. Most importantly, Robert Arkin had great ideas about the design of the piece and he really cared that the unit was well made and aesthetically perfect! I would definitely recommend Robert Arkin and his team.

Robert completed the build out of my office condo and several projects at my home. Robert saved us from a fire inspector that misunderstood the requirements for exit lighting. What sets Robert apart from his competition, having a GC license and valid insurance aside, is his attention to detail, his responsiveness and his refusal to consider a job finished before it’s perfect. Robert honors his commitments and takes pride in his work. Robert doesn’t need to play bait and switch games to get work or fool people into using him. His work is stunning and he doesn’t compromise on materials. I would recommend Robert without hesitation.

Amazing group to work with. Fast, efficient, and Robert the owner payed true attention to every last detail. I constantly deal with contractors for work and personal life, and have had a «bad streak» to say the least. But these folks are the real deal. Robert tells it like it is, doesn’t BS you with price quotes. Takes you seriously too, as anyone should that you are trying to pay.

They did a very nice job renewing my apartment, very professionals and very nice people, I changed my mind several times about a lot of details during the remodeling and they always did the changes without any complaints. I highly recommend them.

Not recommended. I hired them to restore my home after fire damage. We signed an agreement, I paid a deposit, but they never showed up to do any work or even apply for permits. Instead, Arkin kept trying to reduce the scope of work without reducing the cost.
After seven months of no progress, I canceled our agreement because Arkin had omitted bathroom fixtures, electrical fixtures, and thermally-​efficient windows and doors, yet the estimated project cost remained the same. And instead of addressing my concerns (as any good business person would do), Arkin filed a fraudulent lien and sued me for «lost profits.»
My advice to everyone is that if you plan to hire this company, do not sign a contract unless it has been thoroughly reviewed by your own attorney.

Robert Arkin recently redid my kitchen, and it is now incredibly beautiful. It is literally a showcase kitchen that people have been coming over to see just to marvel at. From designing, to implementation, to completion, Arkin group was a pleasure to work with. We had received other estimates, and Arkin group saved us a fortune, while at the same time providing higher quality materials. Robert builds the cabinets in his own factory, and he makes sure everything is custom-​fitted to perfection. Any problems that came up with suppliers were promptly dealt with and resolved at no cost to us. Robert was always on our side, and he was even more of a perfectionist than we were when it came to quality control. Robert is reliable, honest and reasonable. Simply put, I would never use anyone else!
