I have never really been a fan of Aldos because I always felt like they were overpriced. But when I went to this Aldo, it had the most beautiful clutch I had ever seen! Of course, I didn’t buy it and they didn’t have it at the location closer to my home. :/But they also had a really nice shoe selection as well! The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the service wasn’t that good. Even though I didn’t buy anything, when I walked in, the employee just stared at me and didn’t say anything. They didn’t even ask if I needed help, but then when someone else walked in they acknowledged them. How rude!

Same shoes. Not the same service. Stood in line for-ever just to pay because of credit card transaction issues. No apology, no empathy, no organization from the cashiers. Only words were to ask me to get out of the way for cash customers.

I can go for an Aldo fix every once in a while and although the aventura mall location is my favorite this one is closest to my house so I have to settle when not in the mood to drive. The customer service here is great, the manager is adorable and very attentive so I give them that but the selection compared to other Aldo stores is very select and few. Another thing that ticked me off was I was looking at a pair of sandals that I previously purchased at the aventura located but in a different color and they were $ 10 more here. Although $ 10 isn’t much, I see no logical reason to pay more for the same shoe! But I guess that’s Lincoln road for ya!

To be fair, I’ve only been to this Aldo’s once. But from what I observed, they did not have a great selection of women’s shoes at all. The best thing about this store was the accessories. I found several pairs of great earrings that I bought and a super cute clutch that, after much thought, I did not. I will most definitely check this store out if I am ever in the area again.

2 stars simply because I love the shoes at any Aldo, however this particular store just doesn’t seem to satisfy me. They rarely have the same selection as the other locations, and I have even gone with a list of shoes I’d found online from the company’s site, to try on before buying, and they didn’t have 3 out of the 3 shoes I was hoping to try on and purchase. They simply never received the items. They weren’t even sold out of the models. It’s always super busy which makes it difficult to get good service. It’s not to say that the employees aren’t doing their best. They are in a small store in a very busy and heavily trafficked area, so it’s not really their fault either. Generally, the experience at this store has been overwhelming and sort of a let down. I have resorted to typically taking a quick glance around, asking my hubs his ‘yes or no’ opinion on some shoes on display, making mental notes, and ultimately doing the rest of my shopping experience at another, less populated and more spacious location. EXPERIENCEWORTHMEMORIALIZING: I once bought a pair of evening shoes and wore them for two hours at a wedding before feeling a strap almost pop. The strap was so loose I almost injured my ankle. I took my barely worn shoes with receipt and box back to this store and the manager explained that policy with warn shoes was that they could only send them to a shoe repair to try to get them fix(their expense). I was told that if the shoe was deemed unrepairable, they could then accept the return. I obliged and allowed them to make the effort, although I was wary of even accepting the repaired version, for fear of another bad occurence. Over 2 weeks went by and I finally called the store, asking about my shoes, since I’d heard nothing from them. the manager quickly came to the line and said that they first repair man was unable to fix the shoe and that they were going to try another, more expensive option, but that they were still footing the bill. At this point, I was not pleased, to say the least, because I needed silver heels for my NYE outfit, and this was cutting it 4 days before the date. This whole experience from purchase date was nearing 1 month now. The manager understood my concern and personally drove the shoes to the repair man himself the same afternoon, called me from the repair site and said that he could guarantee the shoe fixed before the 31st, but that I would have to go to the repair man within the next 3 hours to get the size of my ankle measured for the repair to be done correctly and on time! Really? I had to drop everything and drive to Miami Beach to get my ankle measured? The loose strap was near the front of the shoe, by my toes, not up by the ankle. And since he was able to get them fixed now, a return was no longer an option, only an exchange, even though the repair was based on this ridiculous and last minute condition which required far more than I could now achieve. Ultimately a huge let down, because I now realized I had no choice but to go on a last minute venture to shop for NYE shoes during the after-Christmas rush and was forced to spend those $ 70 on another pair of shoes that I didn’t really need to spend.
