The lady at the counter was nice! Unfortunately, that’s the only real high point of my experience. I have a cardinal rule, which I broke tonight: always leave the premises when staying at a hotel with restaurants. I was tired and hungry after a long day. I was also on a business trip and staying at the Harrah’s Hotel & Casino. It was a moment of weakness… and I paid the price. The nice lady got my order wrong. The onion rings that the security guard(she was probably in her 70s so I didn’t feel that secure) told me she craved every day came straight out of the freezer — right in front of me — and went into the fryer. The cheeseburger was assembled after being removed from the flat top such that the cheese wasn’t even slightly melted. The bbq sauce was presented in packets. Just plain sad. But…the lady at the counter was nice!
