They deliver all the way to Andover if the order is big enough. Food is great for a friday night stay at home with the family to watch a movie night. Not nice to dine in for a date. Definitely one of my favorites.

Really Like the Food at Here! Most Everything I’ve Gotten Is Tasty, *Usually Moist,(*Sometimes the Rice Is Dry, But Can Be Fixed if You Add Soy Sauce/Duck Sauce!!) Excellent Lo Mein,(All of Them!!), Best I’ve Had!!! Some Really Great Combo Plates & Platters,(and You Can Substitute for a fee of .75& Up), Except On New Year’s Eve! They Deliver, Which Is Awesome, But If You Live Within a Mile or Two, Just Do Take-Out, Because No Matter How Close You Are, They Still Charge $ 2.00 for Delivery, And of Course You Should Give A Tip! Great location, Historic Methuen Square! Just Down the Road From Me! Restaurant Itself Has Several Booths So You Can Eat-in, As Well! Clean Inside & Pleasant Employees!!!

The most convenient place for me to get Chinese takeout. The food is basic but satisfying. It’s what you expect from any old Chinese place but I particularly like Wah Sang because they are fast. If I unexpectedly have guests over and need a large amount of food — I can count on them to cook and deliver the food in record time.

Terrible!!! Use to be one of my favorite spots for Chinese food. Not anymore. They have gotten very sloppy. But there’s nothing worse than ordering food and finding out you’ve been served mystery meat.

The food was good, prices reasonable, and one employee out of the two provided good service. The older gentleman at the counter, not so much. We went on a cold March night. There was no heat in the dining area. No joke, it was under 40 degrees in there. The counter guy and the cook were wearing winter coats and hats in the kitchen! I asked the guy if he would turn the clunky old space heater on and he either didn’t want to or didn’t understand English. Just shook his head. The cook(I think he was the cook, but was not Chinese) came out and got it going enough that with our coats on and some blankets from my car we were able to stay long enough to eat. The guy at the counter was cranky about a substitution request. The dining area was a dive, run down, dirty, unpleasant. Too bad. Good food. I asked one of them about the heat and apparently it is an ongoing issue. The radiators are broken and they don’t run the inadequate old space heater unless a customer complains. They have a few booths, but clearly the owners would prefer that the customers order to go.

I have never posted a review for anything before… until now! My husband and I were thinking of getting take out, but being 11:30 pm, we weren’t sure where to go. My husband suggested Wah Sang in Methuen center. I was not sure, but agreed anyway. We ordered at 11:28 and the delivery driver was at our door at 11:40. Seriously. I have not ordered take out like this in probably close to four years, so maybe this is now the norm, but I was a actually concerned that the food would not even be cooked. Not only was the food hot, cooked– it was delicious. Really delicious and we are VERY picky when it comes to this kind of food. It was awesome. We got the combination platter for two, General Gau chicken and some lo mien noodles. By far the best Chinese food in the Merrimack Valley. I thought we would never find a place that was as good as our favorites in Boston, now we have. Wah Sang is Wahs up haha.

Safe to say that it was the WORSE Chinese food we have ever had in our lives… We ordered about 4 different dishes on Feb.5th2014 and ALL of them were terrible. Even simple edamames turned out to be disgusting. Also it took them over an hour to deliver… what’s even more disappointing is that we ordered from this restaurant based on the reviews here. Maybe we were out of luck that day but we were so disappointed that it is safe to say that we will never order from them again.

I have been ordering from this place for about 2 years now. The only downside I have found is the rice is always a crap shoot. They have the best Pu-Pu platter ever. I love their Beef Chow Foon, Moo Shi Pork, and of course the Hot and Sour soup. Seriously, if you get anything from them, get the soup. Easily the best around!

This is our go-to Chinese take-out place. So we hit this place up every few weeks. We tend to stick with our usual combination, but everything is generally very good. We only had one bad meal at this when everything seemed dry like it was sitting around and not fresh. The fried rice and lo-mein is very good here which why we go here rather than some other places. Otherwise the chicken wings, chicken fingers, crab rangoons, etc are on par with most other places.

I am now 0 for 2 on my Chinese take out in Methuen. I don’t think I am expecting too much but maybe it’s me. Ordered sesame chicken with white rice. Took the standard 10 minutes. Portions were standard for Chinese take out which is to say large. Rice was sticky and starting to dry out. Chicken was super sweet and salty. I had to drown it in the white rice just to balance it out. Overall, I was unimpressed. I noticed that the reviews seem to be getting lower over time. Maybe this place has lost whatever it was that made it good in 07⁄08.

Wah Sang is awesome, I swear the place has the best lo-mein. Nothing for the more healthier crowd and strictly take out, next to no parking too. Go for take out on New Years, it’s a riot how the little place gets packed.

Ok for a quick take-out for Chinese. Nothing special but not bad. Limited parking, but just need to go get take-out.

We love their chicken chow mien! Also the beef mushroom chow yoke is always served piping hot and it’s really good! One of my favorites!!! We always eat here at least once when we are in the area.

I think the ownership change hands. The food is OK as the recipes has changed on some items. Recognized one of the old cooks so might be a change for the better. I still miss China Tea House…

Good value, fast, and tastes great. The inside has 5 booths if you want to stay and eat but it’s more of a takeout type place. I ordered takeout for my in-laws(life long Methuen residents) and Wah Sang has become their new favorite Chinese place.

Wah Sang Restaurant Formerly Kam Sing Restaurant, Wah Sang is located in Downtown Methuen and open for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. It’s the sister restaurant of China Star in Salem, NH. This order at the counter place has an open kitchen and 5 fast food style booth seating in front. The menu offers Chinese, Polynesian, Cantonese, and Mandarin cuisine. 28 Special Combinations($ 4.25-$ 9.95) are served all day and 3 Luncheon Specials($ 3.95) are offered. A variety of Circus ice cream bars are available from the freezer. The food here is pretty good and the service is quick. The Curry Beef Puffs and Boneless Spareribs are my favorites here. Overall, 3.50STARS. PARKING: On street and across the street in the small public parking lot.
