PC Tune-Ups

My experience here is mixed. I found one member of the staff, Jenn, to be patient and friendly on the phone, so my negative review is less about her and more about the store in general. In fact, I was so impressed with how friendly she was that I figured I would drive out to the store and try to solve my laptop keyboard issues here instead of trying to use the internet, like I normally would. I was informed that two keyboards were in stock, and one of them would likely fix my sticky s-​key issue, or my s-​key could be swapped out and replaced for a mere $ 5. Great, right? Off I went on a very busy Friday…
When I arrived, the guy behind the counter (Jenn had just left), pulled out 4 keyboards, all the wrong pars, and I think 3 of them were missing keys. I would rather have a key that works most of the time than one that had keys that didn’t work ALL the time. When I asked if the key swap could be done, he didn’t want to attempt the fix; only Jenn knew how to do that repair, and she would be in today or tomorrow. This is a store that specializes in fixing computers, but the tech didn’t know how to fix my laptop. I left rather frustrated and unimpressed.
Back to the internet I go. Looks like I will be ordering a keyboard and making the swap myself.

These guys do it all for your computer needs. Any problem you have they can most likely fix it. Their rates are high though. I’m not exactly sure of rates as I don’t come here to have my computer serviced (I got free tech support from my nephew lol). Rates are somewhere between $ 50−60/hr.
This shop has been here for well over a decade so they are well-​established and reputable in my opinion. I actually came here for the first time about 7yrs ago to buy parts to build my computer. My recent purchase this week was a new Radeon HD 7970 graphics card! That is one really good graphics card and it was priced right at $ 310.
Come here to buy parts at cheaper rates than Newegg. If you want to spend hundreds on computer repairs I recommend these guys as they do quality work. I would just buy a new laptop or pc before I spend the benjamins on a fix.
