This is probably the most dive bar on Metairie Road and it comes complete with a regular crowd of chain smoking and hard drinking grey haired elders that like to enjoy themselves. They have affordable beer prices and plenty of characters to entertain you in this joint. Political correctness doesn’t exist here so don’t even bother coming here if you need to be coddled and can’t handle some vulgarity with plenty of colorful metaphors, slurs and expletives. Other than the excessive smoke this is a great dive joint. They also sling food and its a decent place to grab a quick lunch for a seafood po boy etc.
