Great store. Great staff. went in for a sale with husbnad. The dressing room attendant was great. I felt almost like she was my shopping buddy. She even agreed when I came out in a pair of pants that did NOT flatter my waist/thighs. She let me know her opinion… the good AND the bad. She did it in a great way. I didn’t feel like she was just trying to sell me everything and she was honest about the unflattering outfits as well. Love my Jeans from there… Will revisit

Major meow alert. A bit of catiness going on in the name of customer service(from a person I didn’t know) that I really didn’t need. It’s a good enough reason not to give out your e-mail or personal info. I used to love Express. I still like the other ones. Oh well. maybe a while after Christmas has passed I’ll try to go back.

Let me start by saying that I have an uncommon pant size. When I need to buy slacks it’s hard for me to find ones that fit right. They’re either too long or too tight on my waist. Luckily enough, Express actually has exactly my size. But now the down sides. While they clothes do look nice, Express isn’t exactly cheap, but if you’re getting some nice slacks they are worth the price. However, the service left a bit to be desired. It was hard to find a salesperson to answer questions and help me find what I was looking for. Employees tend to be in the dressing room area or by the cash register. This means I’m pretty much left to find things for myself. The other, and biggest gripe, is a lack of CLEARLY marked and described sales items. I got two shirts and two pairs of slacks that I thought were on sale but they were right next to each other but full price. Of course, I didn’t discover this until I was at the register and things came up with prices I wasn’t expecting. By that time I’d spent so much time finding what I like, getting the right size, and waiting in line to check out that I just paid the full price so I could leave with my new clothes.

This place gets four stars because they had red leggings AND red tights, which I spent hours going in and out of stores in the mall trying to find. JCrew didn’t have them, Forever 21 didn’t have them, Banana Republic didn’t have them, Macy’s didn’t have them, Hot Topic didn’t have them, and so on. I’d essentially decided to stop at every damn store in the mall to see if they had red leggings(or at least tights) to go with the fabulously ugly sweater I managed to find for $ 12 elsewhere(will save that for another review), and miraculously, Express had both! Yay! Also, generally, I’m a fan of Express clothes when I can afford them. I’m still wearing pants from 2005 that I bought when I started my very first job ever. They get worn all the time, and only one pair out of like 6 finally gave up and ripped a seam. Their clothes are well-made and last forever, which is awesome if I’m going to invest that much money in a shirt or pair of pants.
