I’m not being a hater here… BUT… This Williams Sonoma in Lakeside mall has always been off for me. Hard to get customer service or questions answered… I’ve literally waited at the register to purchase items and had to wait while the sales staff shoots the bull. Unreal. OK, so the reason for this rant has to do with my latest indignity here… So…I was returning a Xmas gift(yes, I’m kind of slow). I saw this cool looking Sugar Pourer. You know that old school diner style sugar pourer? They had one. Cheap I thought at $ 8, so I grab it. Neat, happy with my purchase along with some other items. Go to the checkout… ANDWAIT, ANDWAIT… heard a great 10 minute monologue between the checkout gal and the customer ahead of us. OK, cool… NP. Finally get my items bought and we are out the door. Get home, run it through the dish washer… pour the FIRST batch of sugar in it and it’s cracked. ARE you kidding me? I’ve bought numerous items from W.S. over the years and have always been happy before. I don’t get this Brick version though. I’m just going to skip going here and just get my stuff from them online instead.

Heaven. This store is my heaven. I love to cook and Williams Sonoma is a mecca for people who love to cook. Anything you want for your kitchen is here. Things you never even knew you wanted for your kitchen are here. I’ve spent countless hours in this amazing store gazing longingly at the copper cookware. Cooper cookware is quite beautiful. *sigh* I’ve always had top notch service here and the store is well laid out and never messy or cluttered feeling like some stores can be. I’ve got mad love for Williams Sonoma. Mad mad love.

I popped in to kill time whilst my friend was getting her hair cut at the mall. There is no finer place to go wife shopping than your local Williams Sonoma. The staff was helpful as I ogled the All-Clad pots and wondered who I could marry to put those on my registry.

Williams Sonoma is my favorite store in Lakeside Mall, I just wish I made enough money to afford all the things I want. Yes, the prices are higher than those online, but there is an incredible draw to a physical store where I can handle the items and check them out, even if it’s just for research before I get a deal at Amazon. Having said that, I’ve gotten some really good deals at Williams Sonoma, including this year’s Christmas present from Grandma(she sent me to get the specific thing I wanted and picked up the tab) of a food processor and a mandolin. I caught a great sale of 20% off both items with an additional 5% on the processor. Once I finish my fancy college degrees and land a career job making some serious cash I can see myself making trips to Williams Sonoma probably every other paycheck to outfit a new kitchen.
