DON’T do business with these people. I had an emergency(main sewer line clogged) that was pretty important. A friend recommended this company. He quoted a great rate, fine, but then never showed for 2 days! Kept telling me he’s coming, just finishing up, will be there soon, etc. Finally, I texted and just said to let me know when they’ll be here. No response. We reached out to the person who recommended RQ Plumbing and told them that maybe in the future he might want to recommend someone else. I love the website, too. Lots to stuff about integrity and honesty. Blah, blah, blah. Nothing I hate more than lies from a service provider. Based on the other two reviews, I’m sorry I didn’t check him out before calling and believing he’d actually show up. I can’t stress it enough, if you want to spend all your time waiting for someone who is going to push you off for TWODAYS, please give them a call. If you want some integrity, go somewhere else.

I initially liked Robert. He replaced my water heater and did a good job. There was one minor thing that he couldn’t finish that day and said he would be back on Thursday to do it. Thursday came and went, then another week or so. We called, he stalled. Months went by. First he was on vacation, then he was in the hospital. I do feel bad if he was genuinely ill, but if he would have finished the repair the first week as he said he would, it would have been done and over with. Now it’s 6 months later, haven’t seen him and haven’t been able to get in touch with him. Lesson learned — don’t pay the full amount until they finish the job!

I contracted RQ Plumbing in August 2014 for a repair to a copper pipe manifold leak under my hot water heater — in the foundation. Robert was very nice and quick with his repair. The problem came in December when the leak returned. I gave Robert a chance to repair his mistake and he told me he was out of town with a family crisis. Well a month goes by and Robert stops responding so I decided to find another plumber. I have since paid another plumber to repair the leak and found that the second leak was caused by Robert hitting a pipe with his jack hammer(he knew it happened we talked about it) and causing a hole to develop on the backside of the pipe. Those things happen and could have been avoided if he would have replaced the damaged pipe while he was in the slab the first time. The real scary problem is that we also found that Robert used SHARKBITE joints underground and that isn’t a proper licensed repair??? I don’t recommend using RQ or Robert.
