It’s going on 2 hours for my order to arrive… on a Tuesday. Can’t comment on how the food will taste; however, I am confident it will be stone cold. Finally showed up. Soggy cold eggrolls, cold rice, soggy Gen. Tso Chicken. Never again.

Just awful average blah Chinese food. My cousin lives in the area and he orders from here so while visiting I gave it a try. Very disappointed, spent $ 30 bucks on food that was buffet glop. Save your money and try something else…

I decided to order delivery from here a few nights ago, and instantly wished I hadn’t. It took over an hour when I was quoted forty five minutes, but other than that, the orange chicken had no flavor, maybe a little sweetness, but it’s supposed to be a spicy dish. The egg rolls were so bad that they were horrible even after drowning them in sauce. The fried shrimp kids meal, wow, the shrimp wasn’t even deveined. For non-shrimp people, that means you are eating shrimp shit. The French fries were limp and cold. Even the rice had a horrible after taste. I love Chinese food, and this was hands down the most terrible experience. I called and the guy made excuses, so I boxed it all back up and took it to the store. There were no tables eating there, and the one take out order that was there, cancelled and decided to eat somewhere else after hearing me yell at the guy. I ended up getting my refund. But it wasn’t worth the stomach ache we got for trying something new.

This restaurant food is decent but they are abusing a Huge goldfish. It is in a tiny tank for this fish. Its fins are deteriorating and he is using his entire body to barely move around the tank. I refuse to buy from this place until they give it a better home.

We ordered a general TSO chicken with fried rice and 2 egg rolls to be delivered and as far as delivery goes they did great but the general TSO was awful, it had a red color, very watery and salty I the only convenience is the delivery option that’s why I give it 2 stars.

This place is horrible. I ordered the chicken low mein it was full of oil or grease to point where the bag was leaking oil. My husband had orange chicken it tasted more like unseasoned battered chicken dipped in grease no orange peel or taste what so ever. Call them back told me no Refund. Waste of 25 dollars for two horrible meals and 2 egg rolls that went in trash. My 9 year old loves food he didn’t even Want it

Got the last delivery of the night. Wow. They got the crab Rangoon correct and nothing else. I’ve ordered so many times and never again. They delivered the wrong entrée and the wrong sides. Seriously they made what they wanted and delivered and bailed. Will never buy from these assholes again.

Great Food, great customer service… Have gone here for years and will continue to as well. the only complaint that I have is a bold headed white man that works there has a really bad attitude. was trying to complement there food and basically said that all Chinese food is the same, no difference at all. Strongly recommend getting rid of him but other then that, this place is the best place I know to go to for Chinese food…

The wife and I used to love this place when we 1st moved to East Dallas. The food was always pretty good and they always included extras for free. Then a few years ago we ordered and everything wasn’t the same. We heard there was new management. The portions got smaller and they were not as kind as they use to be. Recently we gave it another shot and it has gotten better. Food was up to par and portions seemed better. We will keep giving them our business, hopefully they keep getting better.

This is my favorite Chinese delivery place. I believe that the quality of egg roll is a great litmus test for a good Chinese restaurant and the egg rolls are the BEST. You can tell they’re made fresh. Crab Rangoon and egg drop soup are excellent. As far as entrees, their portions are huge and can feed 2 – 3 people. I’ve had Szechuan Beef, sesame Chix, lo mein, and it’s all very, very good. I would recommend this restaurant to any one. The only bad thing is they’re closed on Mondays and for some reason, that’s always the day I’m craving Chinese. Lol this restaurant is def worth a try!

It’s alright. Sometimes the flavoring you would expect to hit your tastes buds doesn’t happy. For example, I order sesame chicken… where was the sesame seeds? It still tastes decent though.

Very good food, but don’t go here unless you have lots of time to spare. The prices are reasonable. The bathroom lightswitch plates are really dirty. One booth had salt and crumbs on the seat so we sat at a different one. But the food was really great. Must be made fresh to order because it took over 30 minutes to come out. Really wish I could give 3.5 stars.

We started eating here a couple months ago and love it. The chicken lo mien is on point! It was so much I had it for 3 days! The jalapeño chicken was good but not what we expected. It was more peppers than chicken but what was there was good. Their food is always hot when we get it and the delivery guys always so nice.

Whoa I used to really like this place I ordered garlic shrimp with extra shrimp and asked to make it extra spicy with steamed dumplings. I tipped an extra five dollars as usual hoping to get close to what I requested. It took three hours to get my order the steamed dumplings were cold and stuck together the garlic shrimp had no garlic or flavor or spice at all and I couldn’t find the shrimp. they did stuff the box full of food but I asked for extra shrimp. And to top it off the egg roll was burnt and not at all edible. I hope it was a one off I really did like this place.

Been to quite a few Chinese restaurants and in all fairness don’t care much for the cuisine. Even with bonus points for that, this small business is weak. The emergency exit is obstructed by trash. The hot and sour was only hot. The beef stick lacked a beef taste. The dumplings were tasteless without salvation of the teriyaki sauce. The sweet n sour chicken was pressed chicken and sauce — can’t really hurt fried chicken, but it didn’t stand out. A point for good service and another for the price.

There was nothing extraordinary about the food. Here is a breakdown: Appetizer: I ordered crab rangoons. There were eight in the order. These were so small that I just didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth. They charged .75 for sweet and sour sauce… which was unusually thick :/ Entrée: I had the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was soggy and the rice was clumpy. Plus, you had to pay for the sweet and sour sauce. Service: I have to say the service was excellent. I accidentally told them the wrong address and they were so understanding. That is the reason that this was not a one star review. Also, it is nice that you can order online.

OUTSTANDING!!! First time to order from The Pearl and definitely not our last. Everything was very fresh. One of the best egg rolls I have ever had. Portions are easily enough for two. Can’t wait to try some more of their excellent dishes.

I’ve been coming here for the last couple of years, and Pearl never fails to deliver with solid food, friendly service(usually from the owner himself), in a quietly no-frills setting. The«spicy» dishes could stand to have some more spice, but that’s the only complaint I have. Besides, you can ask for chili sauce if it’s not already on the table. Bang for the buck? This place serves a LOT of food for the money, and lunch strikes me as an especially good deal. Even with soup, rice, and eggroll included, most lunches are around $ 7. Since I’m a cheap bastard, I’m a fan!

Woah. Wha’happen? After more than a decade of at least monthly patronage of Pearl Chinese(99% delivery), it looks like there’s been a major change of management or ownership. Our last delivered dinner was completely different than normal. *The portions are smaller. Not a deal killer, just different. We usually order 3 dishes and have enough for 2 meals for 3 people. This time we ordered 3 dishes and had enough for a meal for 2 people with a small snack left over. *Our favorite dish — and the one we order every time — is the normally very flavorful Happy Family Reunion. This time it fell flat and the flavor was completely missing, along with our request to make it spicy. They’ve always obliged this request by adding spice to the dish when they prepare it. This time we got a tiny cup of chili oil to add as an afterthought. *The sesame chicken was ok, but parts of it were dry and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. This has always been a great dish. *And the biggest kick in the pants of all is that we were unrecognized when we called. *sob* I know, this doesn’t stop the world from turning. But after 10 years of calling and being recognized as soon as our address was given, being an unknown customer once again is a little sad. *sigh* Looks like it’s time to start shopping for new Chinese delivery.
