Viet My Deli

Ill scour the ends of the valley to find me a good viet sammie. been to so many places and have been disappointed as well as thrilled by some. This one is a thriller.
The space is old and run down, a very good sign. they have a bread oven in there, another good sign. smiling family run business, perfect! Ordered the Dac Biet. was so awesome! Crispy on the outside bread. soft and squishy inside. pretty much everything was on this bad boy. pâté, mayo, pork roll and extra chili’s. dang tasty! It was totally cheap too!
On another visit I tried some soup that Ive never had before. was nothing like Phở. had the beef balls in it and what looked like pork. They told me that they cant serve Phở because of Phở Mesa a few doors down. though I bet if they did make it Phở Mesa would be out of business. Anyway, the soup was great. looked and tasted like they added mint oil to the soup. I think its on the window as a special.
