Scheduling is just a pain. I scheduled my daughter to get a cut and color, and they said Marianna would stay a little late, if needed. When we got there, and after waiting 25 minutes because she was running late, we were told there was no time for the color. Not blaming Marianna, but I told the receptionist that my daughter had a lot of hair. My daughter was going out of state the next day, and we were lucky that we called another place and they were able to squeeze her in on a Friday evening! Scheduling for myself has not been that great, and I have not been back since December. Maybe I will see them again in the summer when my schedule is 100% OPEN and I do not have to leave work early for a haircut.

Had a wonderful experience here!!! I have been in dire need of a haircut, and wanted to go short. A neighbor of mine suggested this place, with a gal by the name of Erica! She’s very bubbly and sweet. I told her how I wanted my hair cut, and she got the right idea. Was very informative, and helped me out a lot! I will be returning!

The hairdresser Erica asked what shampoo I used, then implied I bought it from a dollar store. When I told her I could read the labels on the shampoo bottles, she asked me how many years I spent in school to do that. Wow! This shop feels more like New York than Arizona, right down to the extremely rude and hostile treatment they give new customers. I don’t know what kind of a haircut I might have received, I couldn’t stay that long. My hairdresser was so rude and abrasive that after a few minutes of intense interrogation and criticism from her, I stopped giving her detailed answers to her questions. I didn’t even want to talk to her she was so horrible! She got huffy and said, «what, you’re not gonna answer my questions anymore? Do you even want me to cut your hair?» And I said, «Nope. I’d rather you didn’t.» And I went and had a chat with the manager. The manager apologized and tried to schedule me in later in hours later in the day with someone else, but she just didn’t seem to get that her employee was horrible. Worse than having a chat with a cranky TSA agent. She kept saying it was a «personality difference» and that Erica has tons of clients come to her. Well, maybe those clients like being interrogated and having their hair roughly yanked while they’re getting shampooed, and hearing Erica laugh with another employee about how«bad» she felt that she spilled something all over a customer the other day. I am just totally flabbergasted. I have never been treated so badly at an establishment before and I can’t see what would have made her think it was okay to act like that. If the manager had been as shocked as I was, I might have chalked it down to maybe an employee having a really bad day. I’ve worked customer service before, I know what it’s like sometimes. But her insistence that that nastiness was just Erica’s wonderful personality? Nope. I think this place is probably just a cesspit of nasty, unkind people. Who needs to deal with that for a haircut? Go somewhere else. I certainly will.

The worst experience ever. My second appointment with Marianna: with guidance the first highlight/lowlight turned out ok. Not today! 4.5 hours and multiple color applications left me with red tinted hair and a bleached scalp all for $ 180.00. Avoid this salon. The manager turns up her nose and is NOT helpful at all. Now I will have to pay again to get this mess corrected.

I was really nervous to get my hair cut. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to and I wasn’t sure where to go. I needed to find a new stylist after moving from Missouri. I finally made an appointment and had Alex cut my hair. She was great! Made me really comfortable and discussed what I wanted before doing anything. I’ll definitely be going back to see her.

I’m pretty set on who cuts my hair, I’ve been going to the same barber since I got out of the military in 2000. But a barber isn’t the place to take your little princess so I’ve got to rely on Unilocalers to help me find happiness for my little beauty. I tried a place in Gilbert that I really liked but we moved so I wanted to find something a little closer to us. This salon didm’t have a lot of reviews but they had 2 good 1’s so I figured I’d give them a try. Walked in with no appointment so I wasn’t sure when we could get seen. The lady at the counter had me fill out the who we are form and went around the tiled wall waterfall to see which beautician could do a hair cut. Within minutes 1 of the ladies came out and greeted me & my daughter. The lady who helped us was very friendly and informative. She walked us over to her chair, prepped my daughter for a quick rinse and she got to work. I was impressed by her regiment and my daughter was all smiles so thats all that matters to me. I’m gonna say 4.5 stars overall. My only pet peeve is the greeter didn’t acknowledge us because she was on the phone, so we stood there for a couple minutes, but after she got off the phone she greeted us. A simple smile or covering up the phone for a second and a «Just a minute» or something to that nature would have been better customer service wise. Don’t hold this against them I’m a business owner so I’m all about first impressions and customer service. I paid $ 26 for a child’s hair cut, which is a lot for this army barber guy, but if thats the norm then I’ll eventually come to peace with it. Let’s just say I’m a bit on the cheap side-not too much tho… Besides my little quirks this place was really great. The beautician was wonderful & the location looks upscale and was very clean. Again, all that really matters is that my princess was happy and she enjoyed her new hair style all day! This place has a check in coupon for a free shampoo so if you need a washing, here is your chance!

I visit Bellissimo Salon and Day spa every year on my birthday. My husband gets me the Queen for a day package. It includes a spa manicure, spa pedicure and a spa facial. The 3 years I went I loved it! The Spa is very clean, the people are friendly, and they don’t pressure you to buy expensive products. They clean the manicure and pedicure equipment thoroughly, so no worries about infection, or the tools being used person to person without being cleaned. I would definitely recommend Bellissimo Salon and Day Spa for anyone looking for a spa experience.

I am not originally from the area and my hair stylist is back home so I was very nervous about having someone new cut my hair, however Bellissimo is great! The price was average for a hair cut and style(although moiré than my back home stylist). The head massage with the wash was amazing! I loved my haircut and appreciated how they placed me in a canceled appointment spot with ease.
