Did the free tour. Was a Quick tour. Guide was very friendly, but rushed through it. Best part of the tour was the tasting at the end. Because it was so rushed & we missed some things due to weather, we got to sample 3 beers instead of 2.

Took a road trip to Maine with my wife last week and this place was one of the highlights. If you are on your way back to the NYC metro area you could easily stop by this place and appreciate a real brewery. The $ 10 tour is more than enough if you are on a budget. You get: a tour of most of the processing plant, tour guide of course, a free glass and most important a cold Budweiser fresh of the tank. Almost forgot you also get 2 more samples of different beers that are owned by the company. The staff is really friendly and allow you to get free coasters. People in New Hampshire like to give stuff away! Now the facility itself is neat with a lot of memorabilia and a stocked-up gift shop. They also have a free tour and a VIPTOUR for $ 25 but my tour was just right. I invite all people coming back from maine to NJ to not miss it. Don’t drink and drive though.

We had fun touring the brewery. Even the kids seemed to enjoy it. We did the upgraded $ 10 tour really only because it was the next tour they were doing. It included a souvenir glass and tasting straight from the tank(which was very tasty considering I don’t really like basic Bud). Tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. Tasting room is beautiful. I can envision a band set up in the corner and just hanging out all day. I wish there was an actual bar you could go to after the tour. Maybe there was and we missed it but I don’t think so. The Clydesdales are a must see. Their barn area is beautiful. Could be a picnic area!

Came here on a Thursday afternoon as my bf and I were in town visiting his uncle. Parking wasn’t an issue at all. Walked in and was able to sign up for the brewery tour right away. We were early so we just lounged around. They have plenty of comfy couches and memorabilia to check out. Don’t forget to check out the gift shop as well! The brewery tour was great! This was probably one of the larger breweries I have visited so I was taken aback but the volume and size of the operation even though this particular brewery is one of the smallest ones? You open and close your tour with beer so be sure to bring your id! They will check! I enjoyed the Johnny Appleseed cider and the shandy from the complimentary tasting at the end of the tour! After your tour don’t forget to walk on over to the clays dale stable to check out the horses! The anhauser premises are beautiful to walk around and I hear they do events and bbq!

The word FREE is pretty much an extinct adjective these days unless you plan your day hitting the sample isles at Wholefoods and Trader Joe’s. Unless … You want to visit Merrimack, NH(about 10 minutes from Concord, NH). You get a great 2 – 4 hour experience, two free beers, unlimited soft drinks and pretzels and you don’t pay a cent. No catch, unless you feel the need to buy a Budweiser can cozi, polo shirt, visor, backscratcher, etc. at the gift shop. In the spirit of getting something for nothing, set your GPS to ‘avoid tolls’ about 20 minutes before you arrive and you’ll save the annoying $ 1 toll on the toll highway which almost runs parallel to the free highway.(Live free or die, my ass) You’ll save $ 1 and only add 2 – 3 minutes to your route. Not a big deal but its fun to have a ‘free day’. You check in at the desk and usually tours GI out every 30 minutes or so. No reservations are required and the tour is free. There is a Brewmaster Tour which costs $ 25/person although I am pretty sure you have to call in advance for that one. The difference is that you will have access to a few of the areas behind glass during the free tour and you will get to sample pasteurized beer right from the ‘vat’ before it is canned. The Brewmaster Tour also gives you a swag bag full of things like a hat, etc. If you go VIP for $ 25, it probably isn’t a bad thing. Still inexpensive for a personalized tour and they do walk you past the free tours as if to say, ‘Don’t make eye contact honey. They may ask us to borrow money’. The free tour is plenty good. In case you have little heathens … Eh, kids … In tow, there is plenty for them to look at and while the guide’s speech about how beer is made goes over their heads but they will be fascinated not only by the giant machines, tanks and equipment but the strange smells of Hops and Yeast in the air.(A smell they will later in life associate with their fraternity of choice.) Kids also love horses and the Clydesdale barn is open so they can see the giant beautiful horses close up. Adults will like the tour because it is not incredibly long winded and the 45 minutes goes by fast. The part everyone likes best is at the end where you are allowed to sample two beers or hard ciders from a fairly extensive and diverse list. I think they also may give you a free photo in a cardboard frame of your family standing in front of a replica Clydesdale. Something that would probably require a 12 month payment plan at Disneyworld. One thing to know … Tours can vary from 60 people to 2 people. However, if you want a small group, the best time to go is during a Patriots game. On the Sunday I went the bottling conveyor belt was not working as they do maintence on Sundays. So much for dreaming of Lavergne and Shirley putting a glove on a bottle and waving it goodbye if you go on a Sunday. The tour guide we had couldn’t have been better. She was very personable and friendly. And she knew a lot of interesting facts beyond the mundane. The public areas are cozy with wood paneling and ceiling beams and stone fireplaces and the whole place is decorated for Christmas. It feels like being in a small German village. Very cozy. Fun, free and informative for kids or adults.

We’ve done many brewery tours, but none were as informative as the beer master tour at Anheuser. Beth was our tour guide and she knew everything there was to know and was super upbeat(even for it being a Sunday Morning) The facility is very impressive and we loved Beth’s recommendations for mixing some of the samples together! Very worth the $ 25 pp to do the two and a half hour tour. You see so much and get to taste the freshest bud you’ll ever have in your life!!!

They have a really good tour that is very fun, informative and education. The Clydesdales are also fun to look at in their stables as well. They are the gentle giants of the horse world. Near the well stocked and friendly gift shop they give You free samples of their beer to try out. I have felt that the tour guides have been very informative, friendly and helpful. Two thumbs Up!!! :) A review of of my visit from the early 1990’s. By The Way, I did take a brewery tour over In Denmark 10 years ago. The

Stopped here while visiting New Hampshire. The brewery here is so damn huge I couldn’t believe it and the tour guide mentioned that it was one of the smaller breweries they had! The waiting area before the tour starts is very nice! Nice round tables with cushioned chairs, couches, and a fireplace. The t

I’m a brewery tour veteran. I’ve done Harpoon and Sam Adams several times. This tour is a totally different league. We had a fairly large group on our tour, maybe about 20 people, but it felt cozy and intimate. Our tour guide could not get this microphone to work, but luckily his voice carried and we could all hear him well. I felt bad because no one asked him any questions, but I think we were all just impressed with the sheer size of this brewery! They focused less on the ingredients and process, but told us a lot about what Anheuser-Busch uses to stay an environmentally conscious company. I found that fascinating. At the end of the tour, we had beer, pretzels, and there were soft drinks for people who don’t drink. They gave us about 20 minutes to taste beers and hang out. This is a really cool tour. I wish they advertised more… it was an awesome place! I can’t believe I’d never heard of it.
