Went to buy pellet while they were open 12⁄9 at 4pm. Waited inside the store for 10 minutes without anyone even being present inside. Phone was also inside. I would not recommend this business practice to anyone, and therefore would not recommend this business for stove needs.

We just had our stove installed by All Basics. We shopped around and this was by far the best and most informative store we visited. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The owner did the install and although tired this time of year, he was very eager to answer multiple questions during the install. I would recommend them to friends and family.

All Basics Stove Shop has been nothing but wonderful to us! We have two stoves(Quadrafire Mt Vernon insert and Quadrafire Castille) and have been happy with both. What I have been most impressed with is their customer service. Two weeks before our baby was due, we ran out of pellets. This year(2014) there was a shortage of wood pellets in the entire region. Although we had not purchased pellets from All Basics for a few years, they listened to our predicament and helped us out. We literally would not have had heat without their help! Two days after arriving home with our newborn, our Mt Vernon insert was not working(it’s five years old). I called another service company who told me that it would be five days before they could come. With a newborn at home and the cold temperatures of March, waiting five days was less than ideal. When I spoke with All Basics, they offered to send someone out the same day. The owner himself came to our house to service the stove. All Basics is a wonderful stove shop and provides good customer service even years after the stoves were purchased.

Let me first start by saying originally we were very happy with this company. Then for the first time in the 5 years we used them, we had a problem. Once we reported the damage done the owner Paul refused to contact us back. We tried phone, email and going to the store. NOTHING! What a terrible way to practice business. Don’t expected them to take ownership of any issues they may have caused. You will end up flipping the bill. Take heed.
