Starbucks

While visiting this Starbucks on Saturday, 6÷18÷2016 in North Merrick, New York, with my family, I had the unfortunate experience of watching a young Caucasian lady assault an elder Caucasian woman. Apparently the elder woman was attempting to maneuver her SUV in the very tight parking lot and the young «lady» and her boyfriend did not like that the elder «almost» caused property damage. Close, but no cigar. The young «lady» felt entitled to assault and batter the elder with her coffee. I watched in shock and awe as the elder rolled down her window to apologize and discuss the situation with the very hot-​tempered girl and then the girl threw her coffee and cup into the face of the elder! Police were on scene within a short time. I overheard one of the Baristas gloating that the «South» Merrick store was even worse.

This is one of my favorite places to enjoy a variety of coffee flavors while I catch up on some tasks using the internet. The one motivating factor that brings be back is the friendly staff. The seating is comfortable because this place has couches and table seating. It’s located in a quieter side of town so the patrons are mostly locals.

Always been good for me. Food is warm to hot. All orders made toy specifications. No complaints.

My favorite local Starbucks that never really gets too busy. They have a huge lounge area to sit and chill. Its nicely set up here and as your typically Starbucks the drinks are good but pricey.

A typical Starbucks. The drinks are great and they have seating to eat and drink there. They have free wi-​fi as well. I like to go there on Saturday morning with my son and wife and enjoy a latte. My 3 year old loves to get the croissant.
The only issue is there is never a parking space and the lot is very narrow.

I’ve been to this Starbucks a few times before. It’s a nice little set up. The staff was very friendly.
I loved the seating arrangment where I can log in and do my office and other work.

This is such a popular Starbucks. Don’t be surprised if you can’t find a parking spot!
Inside, there is ample seating, and no one is ever really on top of one another.
This is probably one of my most preferred Starbucks out of the many on the south shore in Nassau County.

I still love this place. Now I just go in and grab a pike’s coffee for simplicity. It’s not really any more expensive than Dunkin or 7 – 11 and it’s twice as good.

I’ve been to this Starbucks a few times before. It’s the second Starbucks in Merrick, the first one being on the corner of Merrick Ave & Merrick Road. This one is directly on Merrick Avenue shortly before Merrick Avenue turns into slightly more residential housing.
It’s a cute Starbucks, the seating is different from your average Starbucks. By a window there’s a comfy red chair and a tan couch which I took with my friend Janell and her nephew yesterday when I went to see them.
Currently they have the Verismo on display which is nice if you are considering purchasing the machine. You can see how it looks in detail here before you buy it.
The drinks made yesterday were pretty good, the other times I’ve come here I’ve never had a problem with any of my drinks.
This one seems to get crowded fast so if you aren’t taking your drink to go be prepared for the possibility that all the seats might be taken.

This is by far the nicest and cleanest Starbucks I have ever seen! Even after the makeover! The staff is friendly and it really feels like a community meeting place, where everyone practically knows everyone! The only negative and I noticed this in other Starbucks as well, is that it’s always cold inside. Whether it’s a cold air conditioner in the summer or the lack of heat in the winter, the coldness is annoying. Of course it’s probably to keep the customers from getting too comfortable, so I dress warm! I want to enjoy my coffee & not feel rushed.
