Shari’s Restaurant

I love all the staff and the chefs are the best cooks in the world we eat here three times a week or more you need to try it for sure ! So come on in and meet the staff you’ll love them all .

We were a group of seven, and we’ve dined here several times now. It was their Progress St location. It was for dinner only, so I can’t comment about things like breakfast or the coffee.
We really enjoyed the food. The menu is pretty extensive, so no one had difficulty in deciding what to order. The two strawberry milkshakes we ordered were great, and the extra was almost enough to make for a third. Our server, Samantha, took good care of us. It took a little on the long side for our food to arrive, but Samantha was good enough to explain that there was only one cook that evening. It only bothers me when the food takes a long time to come, and there’s no explanation or apology.
I have to comment about Joseph. If he comes to your table, be prepared to be entertained. He’s a really funny guy with a great sense of humor and he kept us all laughing. I had no idea what his mission was there, because Samantha was our waitress… so is he the manager? Waiter? The real Shari in disguise? It was lots of fun, which you rarely see in a restaurant.
We’ll be back on our next trip to Idaho!

One of the most uninspired club sandwiches I’ve had. Very basic, very plain. Banana cream pie wasn’t much better. The crust reminded me of a crisp cookie that got soft from moisture. Waiting staff was great

Our server Natalie, was a kind, courteous and attentive to our large racecar team needs during breakfast on Sunday morning before we headed to the race track. We would definitely stop there again, next time we are racing in town. Excellent service.

We’ve been here several times. It’s similar to Denny’s and the food is consistent and price is good. Service is not the best — slow, seems like lots of turnover. Nothing stellar, nothing terrible.

Late night dinner after 8 hours of traveling. Two adults and 4 children 2 – 16 years old.
Host greeted us warmly but started us with no kids menus, crayons and when the drinks came out he didn’t think about a kid’s cup.
Server was very nice but very forgetful. Constantly had to remind her. of things we asked for. Most of our food came out together except for the two year old’s. It took an additional 10 – 15 minutes and all it was was food from the fryer. Good thing she was patient.
Food was as good as Shari’s food is. Even though the menu looks great the food is nothing to write home about. I know that’s more of a personal preference.
Bottom line, you get fed with ok food, but if you want attentive service go somewhere else.

Food is average but their big problem is turn over of servers. It makes me feel like if I spend my money there that the company is doing well by treating employees so poorly they never stick around. I won’t go back.

After a failed attempt to find something relatively close to the nearby water park, we wound up at Shari’s.
It’s Shari’s. Nothing stood out, nor made us question coming in. Just your average everything.
I did order a milkshake for nostalgia purposes. My boyfriend and I used to hang out at the Salem Shari’s after I’d get off work and split a shake and a fry.
My daughter had a burger and wolfed it down, the airplane apparently had not served her any food on her flight. It looked just like every other burger at all the other Shari’s in the state. No complaints.
Not a bad choice if you happen to be looking for something close, fast, and cheap.

I really enjoyed the food and the professionalism waiter Taylor gave my wife and I. He did a very good job of customer service. The food is always good there. I have never had a bad experience there.

I will never go here again. The food tasted like it was nuked. Ordered breakfast. First mistake. Complained about food, second mistake. The service sucked and when we brought it to the attention of the shift manager he did comp the bill. But the service was so bad we did not even leave a tip. (we always leave a tip). As we left I almost went back in to crush that idiot servers head that we had. As we got in our vehicle, he was cleaning our table…(we sat at a window) and the dirty looks were just flooding out. I could swear he flipped us off but I was not sure, so I just dropped it. He was just a young punk and I didn’t want to go to jail over a meal.

Large portions and a reasonable price, but food is far from heathy. I’ve had better… shop around.
