Quality food, great service, pool table and shuffleboard (although would prefer it to be in the back corner vs at the front entrance when we are trying to shoot… What more can you ask for! Even the house salad was delicious/​the bell peppers and feta were an added bonus! Fresh guacamole and salsa on the huge (½ order) nachos ($ 2 off Monday’s)! oh and the house wine was affordable! Like the food specials– can’t wait to try wing Tuesday and Rib Wednesday next!

Convenient location for west meridian! …that’s about it though, unfortunately. I take no pleasure in leaving bad reviews, but between the food and the prices, this was just no good. I’d probably prefer Applebee’s, and I don’t even like Applebee’s…
Maybe I’m just picky, but when I pay over ten bucks for a meal, I expect better…

I’ll be fair here: the service was decent and the atmosphere was okay. Other than that, this would be a 1-​star review.
First, they don’t list sides on their menu and their menus don’t fit on the table. I got stabbed in the eye with the drink menu getting passed around.
Second, the food came out REALLY fast. almost too fast. Especially for being there at 5:30 on a Wednesday evening. And they were decently busy.
Third, the coleslaw tasted pretty rancid. The tots were dry. The fish and chips were pretty scary. The ribs were dry and über fatty. I ate because I was hungry but was sick within 10 min of eating.
I won’t be back, but I could see where this would be a good place for drinks and apps. Just avoid the entrees.

This has been my go to neighborhood pub for years. The wings and mushroom bisque are the best in Boise and the service is always personal and top notch.
This is definitely a place where everybody knows your name.
On game days be sure you get here early or you’ll have a hard time finding a spot to sit.
Insider tip: Heidi is awesome get her section every chance you get.
There are specials Monday — Wednesday each week, Tuesday night is wing night and worth the trip. The rotisserie wings (ask for them extra crisp) are the perfect wing.
Plenty of taps and a full bar so you won’t go thirsty.
Great for business lunches too.
Don’t drive by this place without stopping in, I’ve eaten here more than a hundred times and never had a bad meal.

RUDY’S bar and grill. Fantastic place to grab a burger or steak with friends, family, and Co workers. A quick beer and as always please drink responsibly! What’s even better and totally makes a Tuesday worth it is??? Any takers? Well it’s the .65 cent wings on Tuesdays. Absolutely delicious and at this price you can gorge yourself I’m yumminess for cheap!!! Great selection of drinks on hand to go with the scrumptious food!!! Come on in and stop by.

Super crowded, super busy! Happy hour specials must be fantastic! Staff was super friendly, service a little slow but understandable with EVERY table full but still were great and VERY friendly. Didnt really «eat» just had appetizers but were very good.
Will be back!

Drinks were good. Service was good. Only had chips and salsa but good wish they didn’t have multi colored chips. But overall o recommend it!!!

My boyfriend and I came in after work. The place wasn’t busy at all and the service was very slow. The waitress wasn’t friendly at all. The food was bland and lukewarm. Overall disappointing experience.

I’m new to town and been here twice. The wait staff is friendly, attractive and helpful. The food is much better than I expected at a place that is a sports bar/​pub.
I’ll be back often!

Ribs on Rib Night were great. Brandon a good and attentive bartender. Nice vodka martini.

Stumbled upon this place doing a dry run to locate another business and decided to check it out with my mom. It’s definitely off the beaten path for both of us, but that’s part of the journey of life– discover new things. We arrived around 2:00, and thus not very busy. It’s a seat yourself kind of place so we chose a booth which was very comfortable and easily accommodated 4 people. We were greeted within a minute or two with menus and and asked about drink orders (we chose water to start). In less than 30 seconds (before we had time to even look at the menu) we were asked if we knew what we wanted or needed more time. Well, yes we needed time. So we took a couple of mins. to decide and were ready. Didn’t see our server for several mins. and thought she would address us when she was at the booth right next to us but she didn’t look our way. It was another 5 mins. when she came by to ask if we’d decided. Once the orders were placed the food took a reasonable amount of time to come to our table.
Mom ordered the salmon club with fries and didn’t like the look of the bacon so I gratefully took that. It was thick cut and even though the fat could be easily separated from the lean part, it just wasn’t her cup of tea. I liked it, though :-) She was very pleased with the salmon. But the bread was a little too much, so as I often do, she turned it into an open-​faced deal.
I had the steak pita sandwich with tater tots. Decent sandwich, steak overcooked from my med-​rare direction. Tater tots were plentiful and tasty. I left several of them behind which is a crime for this potato lover.

Rudy’s is a great place to join your friends for lunch or after work. The food is consistent and they do have a full bar. In the evenings, parking can sometimes be a challenge. The ownership work hard in their business and it shows.

The very first time I ate here, I really liked it. I had a french dip… but the second and third were much different and also a year later. The fries tasted like they fry their fish in the same oil so that was gross. Reminded me of bowling alley food a little. I like the environment so I’ll give it another try and get a different menu item. Just don’t get the chicken strips or the club.

Rudy’s has a great relaxed vibe that I truly enjoy! The staff is very professional yet relaxed enough to where you can let your guard down and be who you are! I highly recommend Rudy’s to anyone looking for a great meal and good drinks!

Met here for a couple beers and a turkey wrap before our softball game last night. The service was good, beer was cold and the wrap was fine. Pretty busy little place. Looks like many other strip mall pubs in the area. Our server quickly rang up our separate checks so we could get to the game. Nice place.

Nan: Okay. Where shall I start? Food? Service? People? I can’t wait to get this review done.
Nic: Boy, you’re on a roll today. You can’t really say anything about the people that come there. So talk about the food.
Nan: Alright. The food. It sucks.
Nic: Wow! Okay, at least you’re honest. What did you not like?
Nan: The salads are meh, the fries are meh, the soups are meh… it’s all meh. We’ve been here four times now, and I really don’t want to come back. I don’t mind so-​so food, but it’s just boxed food, isn’t it? I mean, open a box, throw it in the fryer/​oven/​microwave or slap it on the grill/​flat top, and you’re done. Where’s the home-​made food? Where is the creativity?
Nic: I’m thinking people don’t go to this place for that kind of food. They’re here for the beers, of which they have quite a bit on tap, hanging out with friends, watching some sports on the tv screens…
Nan: God, I hope they’re here for the beer. Because after drinking enough you don’t care about the food. Or the service.
Nic: What was wrong with the service?

Went here on Unilocal reviews and we were really disappointed. Service was horrid– she couldn’t remember what we ordered to drink and had to come back again. Then after we were served she never checked in or asked about our meal. Took forever to get our check– after putting our credit card on our table and making it obvious we were finished. And it’s not like they were busy. She was just not attentive.
Hubby had the Kobe sliders and said they were mediocre at best. Fries were nothing special either. My chicken pot our was horrid. Thin tactless crust on top of what looked and tasted like congealed chicken fat. My stomach was killing me all afternoon. And the total bill with too was pushing $ 30– way too pricey for lunch. Would never return.

Came here with some coworkers one Friday night a few weeks ago after a long day. The first of our group arrived around 5 and the remainder trickled in by 630. There is a happy hour, but I unfortunately missed it as I got out of work too late to take advantage. The place was busy, but no so much so that we couldn’t keep confiscating tables to make room for our growing party. Our server was Erin (I saved my receipt) and she did a fantastic job at managing folks that had been there a while as well as the new arrivals.
I ordered the chicken tacos and a glass of petite sirah. All in all a tasty and filling dish. I really wanted to take part of it home in a doggie bag, but I was afraid they would get too mushy to eat later. They definitely had a kick to them, too. Thank goodness for my wine. Reasonable prices for the portions and quality of food. I’d be curious to know what it’s like on a game day, as it seems to have the right kind of atmosphere for that. I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to come here, but for a night out with friends/​colleagues, it did the trick.
