The beds are great & give you excellent color, my problem is with the staff. I’m not sure if they are paid solely on commission from tanning lotion, but I am blown away with how pushy they are every. single. time. I go in. It’s pretty rude. Every time I go in and simply ask to tan, they spend several minutes trying to sell me different lotions, for my face, my legs, different times of the year, etc. I order my lotion online, so I have told them, «I’m covered, thank you,» and they have legitimately asked me to get it out of my purse to prove to them I have it, only to try and sell me a better one. One girl told me to cancel my online order so she could sell the same lotion to me. It’s uncomfortable to go in there, and I wish I would have signed a contact somewhere else.

Very dishonest company, do not sign up for a membership they make it nearly impossible to cancel and charge you through the roof over $ 80 for 3 tans that didn’t work, they claim to have a satisfaction guarantee. I get the mystic tan couple of times a year for special occasions and it’s very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s really good and other times it looks horrible or it doesn’t tan at all so I have to go back and re do it. Like right now. Very frustrating! The girls are usually very friendly and the prices are pretty good. I just wish they could be more consistent.

I have the mystic package here and really love it. Great price for a month of unlimited mystic tans. My only complaint is that the floor doesn’t always seem
mopped and can sometimes be a little icky when you are in the mystic room barefoot and changing. Other than that it’s great!

I called for prices and was told it’s told complicated to discuss over the phone. I asked for a general idea told the same thing. Not thrilled. Came into the store to purchase a tan. I waited while she was assisting the customer before me. Once I reached the counter, I was told the girl was going to check in several others that got into line after me as it takes a while to enter my information since I’m a new customer. Um not cool! More customers had gathered in line while she was checking those customers in!!! Started getting rather frustrated! And $ 25 for someone only doing 8 minutes in a level 3 bed is insane! The girl wasn’t very knowledgeable about the beds or prices but did offer me a courtesy tan which alleviated my aggravation some and the only reason for 2 stars.

I started my membership at the one on Eagle Rd. The girls there have been super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Their hours are fantastic, very easy to work around your work schedule. They do get quite busy around 4 – 7 on week days. The weekends are hit or miss. I have been to the one in The Axiom Gym on Overland but it is much smaller and does not have a level 4 bed. I am told the one by BSU has the best level 3 beds by one of the girls at the Eagle rd. location.
They don’t require a contract and you can freeze or cancel your membership at anytime. A Definite plus!
The price is a bit more than I am used to but over all I am pretty happy with this tanning salon.
