Ok, there’s a lot of hype about their Firecracker Chicken. I found it ok. It didn’t send me to the moon or anything, but it was acceptable. This was my first visit & I don’t know why really; the location is not my favorite and I don’t hear enough about this place to keep it top of mind. We were going to an event in Nampa with good friends & decided to stop enroute. It was a pleasant enough place to visit with friends and have a good meal. The meal was a quality one and the service was also good. I wouldn’t hesitate to go here again.

Went here Saturday tonight for dinner with hubby and my mom. We were seated promptly and drink orders taken soon after. I ordered a glass of the Four Vines Chardonnay for $ 6.25, hubby had a double Jamey. Food orders taken within a reasonable time, and the server was excellent on followup throughout. Mom and I both had different versions of the Buddha’s Feast. She had it mild as offered, with chicken. I ordered it with«one flame» and shrimp. I have a pretty good tolerance for heat, but it seemed to me they prepared mine«double flame». Gosh, it was spicy! But that’s OK, I can take it. :-) Also, my version had notably fewer veggies, more rice. I loved the smoky grilled flavor, though. Oh, and something unusual– just about every Asian restaurant we’ve been to in our lives has the rice on the side. Not so here. It’s already on the plate and mixed in with the sauce before the entrée is put on top. That might not be an issue for most folks, but I like the choice of adding how much I want, and it often means leftovers the next day. So from that standpoint, the total amount served wasn’t as ample as I’m used to. Husband liked his General Ling’s dish, which was my second choice. BTW, that one is already a «one flame» heat. and it wasn’t even close in hotness to mine. I just think the chef goofed in my case. Just offering this info in case you order your«mild» dish with a «one flame». Make sure you err on the side of caution if you’re sensitive, and ask for just«a little bit of» heat. The total bill for the three of us with entrees(no apps) + tax came to $ 66. Very reasonable in our opinion. We will be back. Hubs wants to try the meatloaf(which just seemed wrong to pick from the«American Comfort» menu our first time), and there are several other dishes I’m curious about trying, too. They have quite an interesting menu, including sushi.
